[Resolved]  ABN AMRO / RBS — Credit Card issue.

Address:Central Delhi, Delhi

I had an Credit Card Account with Abn Amro Bank. I lost my card & requested bank to block my card on Phone & Haus Khas Branch, Due to in sufficient information about my card they rejected to block it.
I tried a lot to find my credit card details but not be able to due to house shifting. After some time bank start calling me to pay outstanding amount. I went to (Bhara Khamba Branch CP Delhi) to meet the manger for the issue, that time we had some hard conversation & he locked me into the conference room with one of his executive, who forcing me to pay the amount & manager said I will not leave you till the time you are not making payment. When I tried to called police & they took my phone over. After some time they purpose me to have settlement on the amount & asked me to pay 2700 RS.
I gave them the amount but they didn’t gave the settlement letter. Manager said that Settlement letter will come from our HQ Mumbai directly to you resi address. I tried a lot & follow-up with manger to have the settlement letter but no response from them. This instance happened in Jan-2007.

ABN bank stopped contacted me by Phone/ SMS or Monthly statement at home. I assume that it has been settled but again I start receiving call from RBS collection staff. They used very abuse language & harsh me by calling every day.
I was trying to get in touch with ABC management & came to know that it has been take over by RBS. I was trying to contact RBS management but no response. I called Customer forum & found few contact numbers for the bank & got one email id to contact bank of such issues. I sent mail about the instance but after long time no proper solution from bank on the incidence.
Please find the latest mail update from bank on the mail communication.

We regret that you have had reasons
to be dissatisfied with your interaction with ourcollection officers.

Your feedback has been shared with
the concerned executives and we assure you that corrective actions have been
initiated to avoid any such recurrences.
>
As
communicated earlier our records currently do
not indicate any settlement on the card account. Please note that any settlement
to be processed on the credit card account is communicated through a signed
letter from respective Collection Manager.

Kindly note that the
total outstanding on your card account is Rs.32,163.97 which is payable by you.
The account is suspended due to non payment of the dues within the stipulated
time.

Therefore, we would
request you to clear your dues immediately to avoid any further charges and
collection follow up.

Please note that verbal discussion is not sufficient
for account settlement.

Kindly note thatthe Bank
hassentseveral communications to your mailing address to remind you
of the overdue balance.Please
note that no card statement is generated afterJuly 15, 2007
since your card account was suspended in our records.

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to
provide you with the contact details of your officer. However request you to
please advise if you are interested in settlement of your card
account.

Please note that we
are arranging to send the duplicate statement from March 2006 till November 2007 to your email id
through a separate email for your reference.
