[Resolved] Agarwal Packers & Movers — Non receipt of shipment even after 90days

Dear Sir, I would like to bring attention to the gross negligence and irresponsible attitude of the Co: Agarwal Movers and Packers DRS group. I had requested there services in order to ship items of personal effects from India to Australia including furniture, household goods etc. After a payment of almost INR3.5Lacs and an assurance that the goods shall be delivered to me in about 45days, the company seems to have forgotten its promise. The cargo was moved from my home on the 29th Nov 2007 and its been more than 90days now (twice than what they had assured earlier) and I have still not recieved the goods. My father has tried to reach them umpteen number of times to enquire when would the cargo be delivered; however, his plea for an answer has never been answered. Meanwhile since the articles were not delivered in time, we have to live in a makeshift arrangement and our lives have been turned upside down. On one occasion, one of the senior executives in the Co said that "What can I do from here as it needs to be done from Australia". I wonder if they are unable to handle things globally, then they should never charge the unsuspecting customers an awful lot of money and promise something that they know they can't deliver. I am deeply concerned and seek justice and compensation. When I call up the Australian agent responsible for the ultimate transport in Australia, they say they are waiting to hear from Indian counterparts. Its just so frustating. I would advise everyone to think twice before seeking services from Agarwal Movers and packers (DRS group) and do not be under the false assurances that the company provides. I totally agree with Saurabh Khandelwal as I have been a victim of the same due to the utter and shameless negligence of Central Movers & packers.My husband wanted to use its services to move our household goods from Bangalore to mumbai.however they not only charged us way too much for the transportation but also lost most of our goods.On not receiving the goods for almost 10 days, when they were contacted they were rude and sai"its not our responsibility".tis unprofessionalism only increased when they refused to give us our bike and started demanding an excess of 6000rs after already eating up 13, 500 for transfering only a few buckets, gas & a TV.On telling them that we are not going to give into this demand, they further threatened us with links to political parties.We were put through a lot of stress and the company has a very customer unfriendly attitude only to say the least.Sencire advice to never use their services even if they are promising you the sky.The owner sunil sharma and his workers like ajay sharma are cheats and goons of the highest order.

We booked our household stuff through agarwal movers & packers considering it as a best logistics service provider.

Goods were transported from Navi Mumbai to Gurgaon on 19th April'08.

all the items on receiving found heavily damaged.

New Hitachi Refrigerator, IFB Washing Machine & Sofa sets are fully damaged, fully crushed.

all other items also found damaged.

there was a loss of over 1.0 Lacs worth items.

After reporting to local office, no action has been taken .

gone through huge loss of goods & mental pain, hurdles but local office did nothing.

Request if there is any body/ forum who takes care of customer, please take up this matter.

Agarwal Packers & Movers — NOT ATTENDING TO THE COMPLAINTS

Dear Customer Care

I have five landline and two internet (broadband) connections from Airtel at Bhopal.

I am sorry to say that the airtel at bhopal is very lethargic in attendign the complaints rather they try to befool the customer.

I beleive the customer care is designed to help out the customer but i am sorry to share my experience that for last anbout 15 days my broadband connection is unserviceable. Many times the complaints the compalints have been lodged for this fault but no sincere action has been taken from your end.

For instance the compleint attender's name and telephone number is Mr Sanjay : [protected].

You can ask this person whats the matter is ??

Pls try to rectify the fault lying at bhopal.

I think I dont think i will be needing to raise the level in airtel.

Hi,

Even i had a very bad experience with Satyam International Movers and packers, Bangalore. The kind of promises they make regarding the packing of the material and time of delivery is utter nonsense..
After repeated calls ., they have delivered the goods ., but most of the goods are damaged and even though the items are insured ., they are not taking the responsibility of getting the compensation .
I sincerely request everyone not to go for satyam international movers and packers . Instead of going for a shared services ., i recommend to go for a transport where you can hire a truck to transport the items ., so that damage will be well in our control .

Times Movers & Packers — Irresponsible and group of frauds

I shifted from Gurgaon to Hyderabad and for this I believe on Times Packers and Movers. It was the big mistake. The whole commitment done by company were fake. They don't have any office in Hyderabad ( but they show it in their web site.) They took more than 25 days to deliver my goods and more than 30% of goods was broken. No one was ready to take responsiblity. They did not know where is my good. I have never seen such a worst service. I suggest never use this Times Packers and Movers. They are group of fradus and cheater.

Times Packers is one of the biggest fraud transporters. I have booked my goods on 28 October 2009 from bangalore to kerala. Till now (November 20, 2009) there is no track of where the goods went. Initially they were delaying because of rain. But now the driver is saying the goods is delivered. And now i have to get the status from the contact person as to where actually the goods went. A totally irresponsible transporters. I agree. Next time i am not going to go for this. And i will make sure it never happens to me again. I have earlier transported with other packers and i have never been to such kinds of gimmicks. Really very bad.

Agarwal Packers & Movers — Bad service

Hi,

I would like to inform you all, i have been transfered from Bangalore to Chennai, so i need to move my house hold goods to Chennai, i called up on[protected] Agrwal packers & movers to move my goods to chennai, they had given me the quation of Rs.9500/- (approx) without survey of the goods, i aggreed to move my goods on[protected] the same updated them via mail[protected], but when i called they are not responded on[protected], i had spend Rs.400/- for phone calls only, even they are not bothered about customer urgency, finally there is one gentleman attend my call at 7.30pm on[protected]He is GM in Karanataka) and he told me sir i wll call you within 10mins, but there is no response from him till 9.00pm, then called him it was switched off, the particular day at any cost i need to move my goods to chennai, so, i was totally upset because the agarwal packers & movers.

i request you all dont book the above said movers.

I totally agree. They are nothing but a fraud.

1. I was told that 25% was advance and 75% on delivery but their agent forced me to pay 100% advance and I had little choice after the truck was loaded and we handed over the keys to the owner.
2. They charged me Rs. 6000 for octroi in advance and no receipt was given. I have proof from the truck driver that the actual octroi was Rs. 998. They refused to pay me the balance.
3. They charged me Rs. 750 for unloading and the guys never showed up.

When asked their manager about octroi and said "ye chori hai", his reply was "tumne kabhi chori nahi kiyi?"

Do not go with them unless you enjoy trouble.
