[Resolved]  Aircel Prepaid — NUMBER BARRED BY AIRCEL

DEAR AUTHORITIES,

MYSELF IS FOUZAN SHAHID FROM MORADABAD (U.P.).

I HAD PURCHASED ONE AIRCEL PREPAID SIMCARD ON 25/09/09 (NO.[protected]). THE VALID ID WITH A PHOTO WAS SUBMITTED WELL BEFORE I GOT THE SIM IN MY HAND. THE NUMBER WAS ACTIVATED IN THE NEXT 1-2 DAYS. I WAS USING IT VERY WELL & WAS SATISFIED WITH THE NETWORK & POCKET INTERNET.

AFTER ABOUT 15 DAYS, MY NUMBER STOPPED WORKING WITH ITS OUTGOING & INCOMING SERVICE AS BARRED. I SPOKE TO THE DEALER TO TELL ME THE VALID REASON. THEY HAD NO IDEA ABOUT. SO I CALLED-UP THE CUSTOMER CARE & SPOKE TO THE EXECUTIVES NUMBER OF TIMES. BUT I GOT THE SAME ADVICE TO SPEAK TO THE DEALER. I AGAIN WENT TO THE DEALER TO FIND THE EXACT PROBLEM & FINALLY I GOT TO KNOW THAT THERE WAS SOME MISTAKE IN FILLING THE FORM AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING SIM CARD. THE DEALER ADVISED ME TO SUBMIT THE VALID ID & PHOTO AGAIN TO THE AIRTEL MINI STORE, WHICH I AGAIN DID ON AROUND 15TH OCT. THE MINISTORE EXECUTIVES CONVINCED ME THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE RE-ACTIVATED IN A DAY OR TWO.

I WAITED AGAIN & CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE 3-4 TIMES. BUT I GOT THE REPLY THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ID TILL YET. AFTER FEW DAYS THE MOBILE STARTED SHOWING THE MESSAGE "INVALID SIM".

FINALLY I SPOKE TO THE CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN ON AROUND 30TH OCTOBER & MY COMPLAINT WAS REGISTERED WITH THE NO. 1-[protected] & THE SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSURED ME THE THE SERVICES ON MY SIM WILL BE RE-STARTED BEFORE 5TH NOVEMBER AFTER I WILL RECEIVE A CALL FROM THEIR EXECUTIVES.

TODAY, I GOT A CALL AT MY ALTERNATE NUMBER ([protected]) FROM AIRCEL CUSTOMER CARE MB: [protected] AT 4.57PM & THE EXECUTIVE AGAIN SPOKE TO ME THE SAME THING "PLEASE RE-SUMBIT THE VALID ID TO THE NEAREST MINI STORE". THAT MOMENT WAS SO IRRITATING FOR ME & I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER TO THE CONSUMER FORUM.

HE REPLIED ME SO HAPPILY THAT WHEREVER I WANT TO COMPLAIN, I CAN DO SO. AND THEN HE DISCONNECTED THE LINE AFTER SAYING THIS.

CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY WITH THE AIRCEL HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO START MY NUMBER IMMEDIATELY, OTHERWISE I WILL DEMAND THEM FOR A COMPENSATION. THEY HAVE TO SEND THEIR EXECUTIVE TO MY OFFICE/HOME TO SPEAK TO ME IN PERSON & RESOLVE THE MATTER.

I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE TAKE AN IMMEDIATE & LOOK FORWARD TO HEAR FROM SOMEBODY FOR THE SOLUTION.

A valid id is a government regulation which every telecom operator has to follow to avoid any strict action against their organization. I also feel as a good citizen of our country by giving valid Id one avoids usage of numbers by unscrupulous people. My suggestion to you in this case is to visit the Aircel Store and submit the documentation as required and I am sure your number will be resumed in no time…
I too faced similar problem...Mr. Shahid has already given valid ID two times, what do they do with that, eat the papers or sell them in Kabad.

Aircel's Customer Care...is worth abusing, difficult to control tongue. Shahid you're right...it's irritating, when Customer Care guys says " Go where you want" and hangs the phone. To me also in the middle of grieviance call, line disconnected, THANKS TO AIRCEL [censored]ING Connectivity...and they never even do a Courtesy by calling Back...and next time you call, somebody else picks up...and we've again explain the story from beginning to END>>>> END with this Aircel...It might close due to poor services.
I think this disturbance is due to the retailer's fault.He may not be send our ID at right time.
