[Resolved]  Airindia — Ticket refund

Subject: AIR INDIA ticket refund not received even after a month of cancellation date.

I had purchased a air ticket AI-342 for 8th May 2011. For the very known reason that the Air India was having a pilot strike during those days, I was forced to cancel the ticket & book some other airlines.
I did by AirIndia ticket cancellation on 6th May 2011 on phone & the customer care asked me to drop a mail to "[protected]@airindia.in" which will process your refund.

But not a single reply from the Air India official has ever received even after constantly mailing them for the refund status.

Hello Air India officials,

I had booked a e-ticket with PNR number: H1XS9 & Ticket Number: 098-[protected].
I have already cancelled the ticket through phone.
I request you to quickly process my refund as discused {minus RFA(300) & 5% of Basic fare}

I would prefer it to be transferred directly it to my ICICI account.

If this is the case of the customer service Air India provide I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO CHOSE AIRINDIA, NEITHER WILL I GO FOR AIRINDIA IN MY LIFE.

I am forced to put a written complaint for Air India as i feel looking at this complaint Air India will feel embarrassed at least & proceed for the refund ASAP.

I was shocked to see cancelled ticket refund amount of $66.75! I had booked my entire business class round trip for $3389.25 amount from USA. I had cancelled my return flight from India to USA 25 days ahead of the booked date. I was told that full amount will be refunded to me, about $1600, which is half of $3389.25. Please i[censored] can kindly intervene in this to rectify the matter so that I will receive my proper amount. I have sent many emails to e-commerce but have not received response. If you have any questions, please kindly reach me at [protected]@aol.com and[protected].
1/14/20 7:15pm...I spoke to Priyanka from reservation counter at Surat airport and I was told to call in the morning 10am and someone should assist me in this regard.
