[Resolved] Airlines — Name correction in tickets | |
Dear Forum, I really feel the pain when some policy within the company is created to ensure that public do not take undue advantage of a particular process created by the company, the employees slowly make this policy so rigid and start milking public to meet their revenue targets. Let me be a bit clear. There is policy in Airlines that in case of change of name then there is fee which needs to be remitted for the same, this policy was brought in to keep away unauthorized agents who can book bulk tickets for peak times and change names and resell if freely allowed, but now this has become a mandate even if people do spelling mistakes while booking their tickets or forget to add initial in the name or added the tribe name in their which they realised was not part of the ID card they have. I think this has to fought out and the corrections has to be allowed with some preconditions like if it is more than one person travelling then correction can be allowed for one as it would be genuine, but I agree that name change should not be allowed. Can I expect this to be brought up before the forum for justice? regards Was this information helpful? | |

Airlines — faulty deduction of ticket booking
sir,I had just tried to book an air ticket of spice jet from Guwahati to chennai costing Rs. 5453(flight no SG529 dep : 14.35 Arr : 19.20). The payment for the same had been made through my debit card no[protected] valid from sep 2009 Name - NATH RAJENDRA, thought the ticket booking failed the amount of the fare had been deducted from my account, kindly rectify the error as the earliest.
i am facing the similer problem since last 6th Febraury 2010 till date.i had booked air ticket through makemytrip.com on 6th Feb 2010 from Ahmedabad to Bangalore by Go air flight, fare was Rs 5178/- and while booking server failed twice and ticket was not confirmed, where as Rs 5178/- x 2=Rs 10, 356/-
was deducted from my account in SBI.I had been sending e mails to makemytrip.com, requesting them to rectify the problem but they are just passing the buck from one person to another every day. the complaint has not been attended to as on to day. it is a very bad customer support.
this sort of service is not expected from makemytrip.com.

Airlines — Basic facility in Airlines
Dear SirI have travel in Jetlite flight from Delhi to chennai on 03 Mar 10. As it was hot out side the water bottel given by cabin crew is 200 ml which is very small. I ask for another water but they force me to buy it.
I complaint to ministry of Aviation that basic facility of drinking water must be provided in all the flight free of cost.
