Hi,

Even after continous effort, my account is still not cancelled. It is been very frustrating for me, I have been paying the bill for the past 6 months WITHOUT USING THE MOBILE. Now I am in USA and I can NO LONGER USE THE SIM, PLEASE CANCEL MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY.

was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a complaint about this on 3 of February 2009, to the customer care center, Somebody named SATHISH from cancellation

department told me that it would be canceled within 24 hrs. On 12 march
2009 I
saw that it was still active, so I called up the customer care on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, WHICH I WAS NOT AT ALL USING, still I cleared on the same day through online payment and the call was transferred to same person SATHISH from cancellation department, he regretted for the inconvenience and again told that he would ask the concern department to cancel it and he assured that it would be cancelled within 24 hrs. It was deactivated the next day, however I could see it active state on 31st of March. Now I am staying in Nashua U.S.A and I will not be able to use the sim card nor talk to the customer care, I kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

I am Srinath D, I have been using airtel post paid connection until December 2008, as I planned to move to U.S.A, I requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center( Indira nagar, Bangalore) on 11 on dec 2008, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a complaint about this on 3 of February 2009, to the customer care center, Somebody named SATHISH from cancellation department told me that it would be canceled within 24 hrs.     I am Nitin Anand R/o A-22-B, Tagore garden Extn. New Delhi - 110027.

    I applied for a Airtel Landlione Connection with DSL on 15/03/09 and paid Rs. 700/- advance rental on request of your calling executive that it will be installed with in 2 days.

    The CAF no. for this is 1668196.

    I was having a Tata Landline no. with internet, but on the basis of this I instructed TATA INDICOM to disconnect there no., even they called me from retension department of TATA INDICOM for continuity of there services but I declined that too.

    Now it's already 8 days and no Airtel no. installed at my residence address. I am in touch with Mr. Vivek of Airtel ( [protected] ) who gave me false committment everyday that your connection was installed today or tommorrow, today or tommorrow.

    I REALLY GOT FED UP WITH THIS NONSENCE THAT A BRAND CALLED AIRTEL EMPLOYEES GIVING FALSE COMMITTMENT TO THE CUSTOMER REGARDING INSTALLATION OF CONNECTION.

    Yesterday I launched a complaint in your customer care regarding this issue. ( Ref No.[protected]

    Now just now I had a word with Mr. Shadab Ali ( AM in AIRTEL [protected] ) who told me that it's not possible for us to provide the Airtel connection due to problem in Digging or Wiring. When I told me that what can I do now he simply reply me Sir aap kuch or dekh lo. Is this a very simple reply from your end???

    Now my question was that before signing the form I confirm that the broadband services are available in my area and your staff confirm me, Sir services are there and your connection will install with in 2 days, then why you taken a request for new connection and advance rental from me when services was not there????

    On the basis of this I instruct tata indicom for discontinue there services now who the hell is responsible for that?????

    It's not my fault, why your company taken the request and advance rental from me??????

    I already wrote 2 times to Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal regarding that but there is no action taken from company side, means no body take care of Customer part, they only know how to increase the Sale of the company and for that they can go to any extent like false promises, misguiding.

    Airtel — misleading of customers by airtel emloyees

    this is Shashi Goel from faridabad .
    i have airtel landline connection number[protected] in the name Bharat Traders.
    i have been misled by the airtel employees that we will get 20% discount as a airtel customer's benefits.
    But in reality it was discount if we retained the broadband plan which was deactivated by me on 6 june, 09.
    this is a case of misappropriate conduct on the part of the airtel and is unbearable.

      AirTel — Not unsubscribing inspite of repeated request.

      I m a subscriber of bihar circle.Reached Delhi on 21st aug 09.Recieved message for activating swine flu alert with a note that to unsubscribe message(54321)which i did for three consecutive days.I recieved back message(message recieved with no result).I also called up customer support service and was provided a number 121 which, when i did, replied that no services was providede on my number.
      Now-
      1.How can i deactivate the services, which they are not doing?(for which every day i have to pay 2Rupees for a month.)
      2.I want information that if a company having "MILLIONS OF SUBSCRIBERS"just get 1, 2 or 3 Rupees revenue back with such unlawful activities, they are earning millions o[censored]naccounted money.
      I have a record of all the messages to justify my claim.

          I have submitted my documents for new connection of Airtel Prepaid No. [protected] to Airtel Outlet in Shopri mall in sector-61 Noida on 24.09.09, after four days they have barred my incoming and outgoing calls. I have maid request to the manager and I have submitted my documents to the outlet manager. But till date my number is not working. Now you are requested to please look in to the matter and resolve the same or arrange to refund my full amount.

          I have tried to contact outlet manager Mr. Dheeral on [protected] but no responce. I have tried his number since morning on 30.04.09.

          prepaid mobile connection — Nuisance of repeated automated calls for ringtone etc at the dead hours

          Airtel autamated service for ringtone through their number [protected] had given repeated miss calls for eleven times from 1.11 a.m. onwards totally disrupting my sleep. This is unsolicited and cannot be tolerated by any and it is inhuman. Is there any law to curb such menance and take stern action against the concerned to eliminate such nuisance. I do not want any such request to be extended to this particular mobile henceforth.

          Please take note of this and I need an assurance from the authorities concerned as dialing your customer care and speaking to some one is quite impossible.

Thre has been a constant network problem in the Barrackpore Cantonmement- Kolkata 700 120 area which contradicts with ad that we see in the electronic media. I have made costant endeavour since Nov 2007 for which I was given an assurance that "we are working on it and by Dec 2007 the problem will be fixed" till date thre has been no improvement. I would like to add that the hotline services are not effective .

                  I am your customer for a very long time since Spice. I was a post paid customer but now I had to convert myself to prepaid service . In Barrackpore there are frequent call drops in the region of Barrackpore Canttonment , gushipara .... . Please look into the problem fast as because the airtel subscriber are switching to other services. If you can conduct a survey in the Barrackpore region you will get to know your the status of your subscribtion. I dont want to switch to other subscriber.

                  This is to inform you that the above mention mobile no was taken on 3rd October 2011 from the retailer (Prio Communication, Behala, Fakir Para), the retailer was assure that it take time to activate till half an hour or end of the day. But unfortunately the no was still not activated till date.                   We are holding an Airtel Prepaid mobile connection with no. [protected] for over last one year.

                  Its been quite frustrating to deal with Airtel so far as in event of any assistance required or complaint to be registered we only have two contact nos. i.e. 121 or 198 which have no option to get the correct help as desired.

                  While dialling on both the nos. its impossible to reach to the correct person and even after trying more than 20-30 time, if fortunately we are able to reach some one, the customer care officer do not pay any attention to the complaint instead disconnects the line by giving some excuse or the other. Most of time customer care officer uses local language despite our repeated request to use English or Hindi as we do not understand the local language.

                  We have been regularly charging the prepaid connection and noticing that without using the phone even for day the balance keeps on reducing due to some pretext or the other, we recently discovered that due to some unwanted service called 'Hungama' the balance have been reducing on daily basis which was not even subscribed by us at any time.

                  We have made this request in past (when we were lucky to get connection to Airtel's helpline) many a times to remove our no. from any such subscription but till date the same have not been done and balance is being reduced forcefully without our consent for any such service.

                  Its almost impossible to reach any customer care officer in Airtel and frustrating to get the issues resolved of last many days despite hundreds of attempts.

                  We have recently subscribed to the 3G data plan worth Rs. 199 (given 500 MB of free data download), however are surprised to note that every time we connect to the 3G and use even a site like google or gmail our balance reduces whereas this was suppose to be free of cost till 500 MB data usages.

                  We get no update from airtel on data usages and are failing to understand how can 500 MB data be used only on first connection of 3G if it is so happened.

                  It seems to be complete cheating on Airtel's part to deduct user's balance without any reference to them and enable unwanted services on phone and deduct money.

                  After getting no response from any of the Airtel's contact nos. we are raising this as last and final complaint before filing a case in consumer court for intentional cheating and malpractices also violating the applicable TRAI guidelines.

                  Please do consider this seriously and respond within reasonable time.

                        my airtel digital TV is not working since 26th of April 2009.
                        In this regard i had complained around 20 times but no solution has been
                        provided till yet. Moreover on 26th the customer care refused to take
                        complain and didn't provide me any complain no. Till today no solution has been
                        provided.
                        moreover initially they said that as per our records, your Digital TV connection is active and services are working properly.
                        but the problem was not solved so i complained again but no solution has been provided till yet.
                        on top that there is no feed back from their side. customer care refuses to transfer call to their senior authority.

                        I have recharged of Rs.100.00 on 02.05.09 towards the of rent "Hindi Plus, Kids Plus and Colors. Hindi Plus and kids plus has been activated very soon after the recharging, but colours not activated.                               i am use airtel prepaid since 3 yrs.. my gprs is not work in my home area (palkot road, gumla, ranchi, jharkhand). if i go 2-3 kilometer outside than gprs working very good, but i return home back than gprs fail. network work perfect, incoming outgoing is also work perfect but gprs fail. i complaint many time airtel customer care bt my problem not solved. pls help me.

                              My airtel service is not working Prpoely. i amlready book my complait non this but no solution at ur end. I am Using GPRS with PC. It connects good but after connectin sent receive is stopped and no surf on website. Sometimes it is automaticaly connected. If not connected that I discoonect my mobile with PC and re connect the same. Then Connect with GPRS and it's working. and same problem after 10 to 15 Minutes.

                              I have booked a complain on that but no solution for that. I am Leaving in Navsari, Gujarat.Please strictly look into the mattre and call me on [protected].

                                i m using ur airtel connetion from last 2 year. 5 days ago i have got sms regarding recharge rs 51 other wise ur no will be disconnect.than i called to c.care there i have got this msg nooooooo ur no: is totally safe u have a no need for recharging from Mr om n also rahul these r c.care agent . today i have got a call from mohali ur services will be deactivated at 12pm.
                                I am an unsatisifed airtel customer. The word unsatisified is very big in front of the service you people are giving in state of karnataka.
                                I bought prepaid connection with validity of 2 years keeping in mind my old memories of airtel when I was using in state of Punjab and north India but its really bad.
                                Signal quality is very bad, I thought it might be problem in my area. I keep on going but today it limit when one of your manager said public shceme availible on all karyana stores in karnatka is not applicable to your number because you are not in the package... What do you mean by package..I am not aware of anything that I bought any package.

                                I bought number like other people...Secondly I am struggling from last seven days with airtel customer care people by giving them complaint that I am not able to recharge my mobile with 34 RS STD Pack. ie...34 RS Pack. They said they will resolve the complaint in 24 hrs. But nothing happened. I again remind them and for courtsey sake they given me a complaint number i.e [protected].

                                On another day I receive a call from Airtel that your complaint has been resolved and I receive SMS of the same.

                                I try again today i.e. 28 May 2009, but the status remain same. I again call customer care and he gives me an answer " Sir Please try to get it recharged from another dealer", then I want to ask what the purpose of your these karyana store bull , just close them.

                                Then I aks him to contact me to manager Mr Hemant, he straight away told me that Scheme is there but not applicable on your number, Am I doing [censored] from last seven days with your custome care people. Why are they there if they dont know which number which package will work. They keep on saying we will get resolved and resolved. Just fire them and gives your managers their seats.

                                What the use of distributing the scheme to shopkeeprs, that this new scheme if they dont know whom to give that scheme or whom not. Stop fooling the people and customers. Is this way the Airtel is going to best in India. ?????????

                                Airetel people tell this is scheme and thats is scheme when its not applicable to any just dont be there or write there it will be applicable to some number TRY ON YOUR OWN RISK..

                                I am geting out your Airtel now. Form you BSNL is muh better atleast what they say they mean it not like you distributing everywhere and nobody take care.

AND I HAVE ALSO SPEAK TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT THEY HAV NOT RECTIFY MY PROBLEM. SOME OF THEM SAYING IT WILL BE DONE BY 7 P.M AND SOME OF THEM IT BE DONE WITHIN 48 HRS.

                                  KINDLY SEE THIS MATTER AS I AM LOOSING MY BUSINESS AND ALREADY LOOSED BUSINESS BY NOT CONNECTING TO INTERNET AND NOT GETTING CLIP.

                                  There is a code to activate clip by sms. I don't remeber but you can ask them. Do not hesitate to go to Airtel website and find important emails and raise your issues. Puke out your anger on Support Reps completely.

                                    I’m using a Airtel Postpaid connection, I have no idea why Airtel charges Rs. 99 per month for activating Conference calls. As conference calls are mobile handset specific, if I dial five customers and add all the five members in conference, then I’m going to pay the call charges to Airtel for the call duration of individual calls made from my account. The service provider has no part in activating the conference calls or something like that. Also I have used this Conference facilities free of charges in all other service providers such as Vodafone, Aircel etc. Even Airtel provides that free with it pre-paid connections. I don’t think these charges are applicable and approved from TRAI. Please look into this issue.

                                    This is not an individual issue, to answer the same to an individual. Even this facility you are providing at free of cost in prepaid mobiles, then why you are charging for postpaid customers.

                                      I was using mobile office for 99 rs GPRS pack in which initial 50MB is free than the charges was 20paisa per 50KB. But i was charged 441.60 rs(For the period of 27feb to 25 MARCH) for the same but i have used only 26 MB.
                                      Then i went to Customer care office and told them same then they said that was charged wrong due to some system fault your account is not updated for mobile office so you had been charged as per AIRTEL INTERNET (30 Paisa per 20 KB).
                                      So i got a call from airtel customer support and he said that his system is right and they will not refund any money for the same.
                                      In between i mailed to airtel customer care many time but no meaning.
                                      They always said that there system is right but there customer care office executive always said that was a system fault because they manually inspected my mobile setting for GPRS uses and found i was using Mobile office on my no.
                                      And i am going to attached the copy of conversation between me and airtel customer care.

                                      Airtel — Wrong billing. Charged for downloading content.

                                      Since October 2007, every month i have been charged an amount in excess of 100 Rs for downloading content from Airtel Live Portal. I do not use Airtel Live and other internet based services through my handset at all and yet i am being charged.

                                      On going through the itemised bills of [protected] i find that on almost all occasions downloads took place at same time and very early in the morning. I suspect some one from Airtel is playing mischief through my connection.

                                      Its been 6 months and numerous complaints to 121, visits to Airtel ARC's and a mail to the Nodal Officer, i have not got any satisfactory response from the concerned yet. In fact, the nodal officer has not replied or responded in any way. Is this the service that Airtel offers to its Customers?

                                      AIRTEL SERVICES ARE SIMPLY PATHETIC.. AND AIRTEL EXECUTIVES ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS..

                                      AirTel — Charging wrong charges in Bill

                                      I have taken Post paid mobile connection with Airtel before 7 months 299 monthly Postpaid scheme and deposits of Rs.500/ to Bharti Airtel.

                                      First five months, my bill has come upto 400 to 500/-
                                      Maximum is 525/- at one time. But suddenly next month my bill has come 1225/- I have not such use. I have very limited local use.

                                      But Airtel has charge me for other charges than call charges which I have not done. But negligence and mistake of Airtel system, they people debited wrong bill in my account. As per my belief, my bill was not come beyond Rs.500/- My deposits with Airtel is Rs.500/- So they can compensate my latest geneuine bill from this deposits also. So I don't have to give him anything now.

                                      But they harrash me for paying Wrong bill which I have not done. firt phone me on my resident many times. Now they send Legal Notice to me twice. They reqd their SIM Card back which I have return back to it Kandivali office. But they refuse to take it. I have thrown itin their dropbox with letter which they refuse to take.

                                      Please give me justice and close this harrashment.

                                      I am hardeepsingh residing at Sanjay colony sugar mill panipat using your services since 5 years when my brother gifted me a cell phone with your services. I was fully satisfied with you. I am living right now out of haryana but still i m using your services because i will be at haryana in next month. So i dont want to release you. The problem was that my mobile bill in the month of july, 2009 was due by the date of 14 july 2009. I pay the bill befor the due date may be on 8 july2009. The attendent did't give me the receipt for the paid amount Rs.300/-. He told me that my server is not working and message will be delivered to you. But i did't got the msg and next month he added the amount to my next month bill. I went there in the office at Pink city Panipat but they told me that today concerning person is not here you may come next day. Like this they react 3 times. I talked to customer care they told me ok we will adjust the amount. But no response is there and ultamately they bained my outgoing call. I have advanced rental plan and want to continue your services but i m unsatisfied with your services since 2 months kindly adjust my bill so that i can continue my airtel services but sir two times i will not pay and give stick instruction to official at pink city Panipat..

                                      The same thing happened with my son.Firstly they they sent him a bogus bill of 3200/-, but when my son resisted and declined to pay, they settled it at 1000/- that too 150 or 200/- Rs. more than the actual bill.

                                      My name is Ankit and i paid my airtel bill for Rs.1500 at 'SKYWEB ENTERPRISES'
                                      for the no. [protected] located at nirankari colony, north campus. As per the person who took the paymet from me entered the incorrect number as my no. is ([protected]) and the amount was ledgered on a different no. which is ([protected]) which is an invalid no. Also i received dozens of calls from 'Airtel' regarding my postpaid bill, i informed them reggarding the same and also spoke to a lady in Airtel Customer Care' Named ( Pooja Parmar) Reporting to ( Nishtha Saxena) her manager, and the same lady informed me that nothing can be done, i asked her to make her floor supervisor or manager talk to me, as usual she denied.

                                      After building the bridges of requests she arranged a callback for me from her supervisor.

                                      And i also spoke to the person who took the payment and he simply replied that he can only check that what can be done, and he ll let me know by the evening, which was quite usual as i was getting the same answer every day.

                                      And today i, e 24/12/09 i received a call from an Airtel ofice from mumbai stating that if i do not pay the bill by today or tommorow they will barr my calls, which will incurr me a big financial loss.

                                      Kindly go through with the complaint and i am eagerly waiting for your reply.

                                      It seems you may have chosen the wrong plan for your phone and usage pattern

                                      The Rs.10/- per day plan is great if you have a high end mobile and access the internet often directly instead of through a wap conversion tool like google.

                                      If you have a low end phone you should access the internet through google. Google will compress large html files into tiny wml files and display them on your phone. Naturally your usage becomes very small but with limited features of the original site. For such use you should go for the Rs.0.30/50KB plan

                                      Dear sir/madam my mobile no [protected] airtel post paid nunmber my bill total bill 3200 its wrong its not more than 2200 i calculate they are not ready for this ,bill then i call customer care lot of time for clarification but they are not given me satiesfied answer then i close the connection after that they are sending me bill also late fee then they sending legal notice then i contact the person for settelment i settel in 2200 i paid this ammount then again they are sending me bill they harrasing me . plz i need help my no- [protected] my id [protected]@live.com plz me .

                                      bad me 2 month me ek sathe asie 99+3+20 jese kayi sari offers and donwload ho jati hai airtel live se
                                      5 bar call center and 2 bar office pe jake bat ki
                                      shirf yahi khete hai ki aapko pay karna hai padega
                                      pata hai kitna
                                      rs.1430 shirf donwlding ka
                                      or mene bill pay nahi kiya to phone num band kar diya
                                      plz help me

                                      even same thing happened to me..
                                      i got unlimited gprs plan from airtel.. which entitles me to unlimited browsing and download of content...
                                      still i was being charged 1000 rs a month extra on my airtel mobile no [protected].
                                      when i asked them, theuy said that i have been using airtel live, which i never use.
                                      also, even if i were, its part of gprs, and no one from airtel had ever intimated me what service to use/ not to use.

                                      I using airtel postpaid No [protected] one weak back i activated GPRS on my the same and used few hour. but when i activate the gprs my bill was only RS 47/- and today it is RS1307/- i can't understand for what AIRTEL charging like this

                                      My airtel no is[protected]. The bill generated for the m/o Oct 2011 is wronglly generated.As per talk with customer care about bill they didnot solve the problem.In the m/o july local sms charged with international rates . As we talk with the customer care they did not take it serioulsy.In the m/o of OCt 2011 on dt 25/10/2011 sms charged withut any proper intimation so it is requested to waive off the amount of Rs 100 in this bill immediately because again and again bills are wrongly generated and no one is taking care of it.otherwise we have to choose othere service provider

                                      i am prashant pattekar i have converted my sim from prepaid to postpaid this month 11th, i am having free calls for 750 min any n/w and after 750 min i am having credit limit of 1300rs .

                                      my problem which i am getting nowis that i have not talked even more then 4 hrs in which 750 min i free but also they are telling tht my credit limit i should pay 3200rs why is this which i have even not completd 750 min also this is my num [protected]

                                      My airtel number cug [protected] & [protected]. The customer service not satisfied hence i have not used the mobile numbers since may 2011 and also this information passed through phone when they are contact by the airtel representatives. I know my airtel number disconnected or not. please inform atonce.

                                      Bharti Airtel — Wrong Charge on Credit Card.

                                      I have credit card of Citibank ending with number 8018. On 30th May a charge of Rs. 200 has been made against this card by Bharti Airtel. I am not able to find against which connection this has been charged as I have no such telephone connection. Citi bank has only provided me reference no.[protected] which does not help.

                                        Sir,
                                        I had a prepaid connection in Manipal, Karnataka. Now that i have moved to Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh i wanted to relocate the Prepaid number to the same state.

                                        I have requested the local Airtel center, but they did not help in any manner. If its possible to relocate my number from Karnataka to UP, then please guide me through the procedure.

                                        Airtel Prepaid Plan — got message Rs5 deducted read message another Rs.5 deducted

                                        My mobile no is [protected]. When I got some one's message Rs. 5 Deducted from balance when i open the message to read it another Rs. deducted. I have not applied for 3 G but air tel has given it at my mobile without asking me.
