This is with ref to the 3G dongle connection taken on 22-08-12 from 'Critical Paradigm Gestalt BPO Pvt LTD', they operate from IBM Manyata tech park's food court, Phone # that i was assigned to me for the connection is[protected]
Agency reps name at manyata Nirmal [protected], Ahmed -[protected]
I paid Rs 1,299/- for the 3G Dongle and the new connection attached is the Payment receipt
Documents submitted at the time of taking connection
Photo Address proof - Self attested Xerox copy of License
Photograph - Self attested passport photo
Company id - Self attested photo copy of IBM India ID badge
Now starts the tale of their miserable service
Issue:
1) The connection was not activated for at least 3 days from the payment date
reason quoted -- Server down - Oh Come on, for gods sake, no server can be out for 3 days when it comes to on boarding the new customers.. if it was down that long, i pity the other customers who are with Airtel. Well the duration for the suspended period was also added to the first bill..Hats off to airtel
Well this was just the beginning..there was more to come
2) The connection was suspended within 1 week of it getting activated.
Reason quoted - Address verification failed, someone gave my office address as D5 Manyata tech park instead of my residence address.
Well why would you update the office address when the address proof given to you was of my residence...someone out there has lots of grey matter on top.
it got resorted only after i asked for an address change and then the verification person came home
It does not stop here...
3) The connection is barred a week later
Reason quoted - documentation's not submitted, and no notification was sent to me about the connection being barred.
What the hell!!! i literally fell off my chair on hearing this. It a Joke.
The Cust care rep could not take a complaint as the number is barred. Well thats an easy way out for them..no record of enquiry being made..blame it on the system/procedure. Who maintains this pathetic proces? I was asked to visit any airtel store and resubmit the documents.
How on earth would you give me a corporate connection without taking my address an id proof
Well, I went to the Airtel store at CMH road, close to the BDA complex. and their they refused to take the document as it was a corp instruction that the address and identity proof doc should be submitted to the agency that provides the sim.
Hello customer service..you might want to talk to your corp and get your process documents reviewed,,its outdated.
I submitted the documents to the guys at 'Critical Paradigm Gestalt BPO Pvt LTD' and the service was activated, there was a downtime of about 3-4 days.
4) The connection is barred again on Sept 24th.

Well hello!!! i just did that a week back, well i busy with office work and decided to use my Tikona connection for some time before i try to resolve it...lost the interest with airtel...but I has Rs 1300 bucks stuck with airtel.
I called them up today - sept 27 and they tell me its terminated for lack of some document..i could nto get it..it was something like STG, SAG..who cares.
I am now asked to resubmit the documents and take a new connection as they cannot reactivate the services.
Well finally it stopped with the connection being terminated by Airtel.
For all thos who are looking to get an Airtel 3G dongle connection...be cautious and go to some agency where they do right and is close to your residence incase you face an issue like me
Now if someone can help, please do advise if there is any ways i can use the Airtel Dongle for a 3G connection from another service provider..dont want to have a wasted investment on the dongle
After all this trauma..should i pay the bill which would be generated for me?
