Airtel — Wrong NAME & BILLING ADDRESS

Inspite of giving a request for the change of correct Name & Billing Address to teh customer care, its still not corrected.

Airtel Comnication... — Bad Words communicated on call received...

Hi,

Today i have received two call from airtel number and they told that they are airtel employee and they have new scheme, but when i told them that i am do not disturb member then they person on the call had bad word argument with me.

Kindly investigated the matter from your end the Phone number and time for that two call is below:

1) [protected] : time 16:10.(bad word was communicated to me.)
2) [protected] : time 14:46. (Bud me with the call when busy in meeting).

Looking forward for the response from your side or i have to take this matter to legal department...

Airtel Post paid Billing — Bill not received on time

I am reaaly having awful experience with Airtel as inspite of my teleconversation with the Customer care they confirmed that I will have my monthly bill for July by Aug 05th but still there is NO response also the message received by the customer care department states that my e-mail billing has been started for which as of now I have not received.
My suggestion: Airtel should seriously think on the customer care excutives as their behaviour should not jeopardize the business.

Airtel — not receiving of bill and address not changed

My mobile no. is [protected]. I was elevated as Judge, Supreme Court of India on 9.4.2008 and I requested for change of address since three months back. When I was Chief Justice of Delhi High Court at that time I was residing at 9 Akbar Road, New Delhi. Now I am residing at 15 Tughlak Road, New Delhi - 110 011. But in spite of many requests in writing as well as at customer care my address has not been changed and I am not getting bills for my cell no. [protected] neither at old address nor at new address. Pl. change the address as 15, Tughlak Road, New Delhi in your record and send the mobile bills without fail at my present address. Presently, there is a demand of Rs. 215/-, pl. send bill for the same at the earliest and confirm my mail.

I don't know whether this really works or not. Previously I was receiving my airtel bills as it was provided by me. Suddenly for the month of July my address changes without my prior information and it landed to somebody else place. The person handed me the bill by calling me and using abusive words on the phone which is illegal.

i don't know wht is wrong with airtel. Iwant airtel to give me a call get the correct address for despatching the bills.

Sri Chaithanya Enterprises — Advance amount taken for house is not returned

I am residing at Bangalore. I planned to rent a house at Marathahalli, Bangalore. I saw the house through broker and met the owner(in charge) person. Actual owner is at Andhaman. Broker name is Ramesh and he is the owner of Sri Chaithanya Enterprises. The house owner incharge person asked me to give the token advance amount to Ramesh. On 22-Aug-2009 I gave Rs.5,000 as advance and Rs.300 as document charges to the broker Ramesh and got the receipt for Rs.5,000 . As finishing work was going on that house and I had planned to occupy the house in another 5 days, I called the owner incharge person to confirm electical work and finishing works can be completed before I occupy. He responded that he is not responsible to answer my questions and I can get back my Advance amount. Immediately I called Ramesh and informed what owner inchage person told. I asked Ramesh my Advance amount back. He told he will give that money. I have been asking him frequently. I have not received money yet, but same answer I am getting. I have the original receipt. Ok, So they should allow address updation online as well. I am a busy person who does night shifts and I do not have time to visit an Airtel store in person to get the address changed.

    I am having Airtel Prepaid Mobile No. [protected] in Delhi. I find that after every recharge the balance gradually and sometimes steeply goes on reducing even when I have not made much calls. Also the monthly Airtel to Airtel balance in the scheme also meets with the same fate. I think this company should be given some award for cheating the customer by silently eating away his balance sans the calls. When I made complaints at their customer care I was told that details of calls made in prepaid connection cannot be given to the customer.

    TO WHOMSOEVER IT MIGHT CONCERN

    I have NOP (Net On Phone) activated in my Nokia 6030 handset and I have been using this service since a long time. On 07/07/09, I downloaded a FREE RINGTONE from www.waptrick.com - a free downloadable site. However, to my utter surprise I found that an amount of Rs. 99/= (Ninety Nine) was deducted from my account balance saying that I had downloaded a Java Game (as mentioned in the deduction SMS). I called up Customer Service and the agent named Siddharth mentioned that I had downloaded a Java Game named "CYBER PUNK", which is totally false and ridiculous. The Customer Care Executive said that he will not be able to do anything in this matter. I have never ever played/downloaded any game in my life relating to mobile or computer.My Case Number:[protected] dated 08/07/09 with Customer Care. I also tried contacting both the Nodal and Appellate Officers of Bharti but no one responsed to my phone calls.

    If this matter is not resolved, I will be forced to file a formal Litigation of Cheating agaist Bharti with all the proof that I have.

      My account No with AIRTEL is 13285021. in the bill for the month of Oct 2008 i have been charged DSL usage for Rs 1202.56 which is grossly in excess. the details shows the usge of internet when either the house was locked i being away or i was asleep ie after 2200h. i being the only person occupying the house, there is no way that this usage is possible. there is no response to my complaint by the company

      I agree that service providers cheat the customers. I always had a usage of Rs. 1300 and suddenly my last month's bill is 7, 200. Also the airtel folks tell me that they cant break down my usage of DSL. It is ridiculously cheating customers and I also found that I when I was away from my residence they have generated a bill amount.

      Seems like this their way to combat the recession. It is highly disgusting that such a reputed organisation stoops to such practices. I am from the internet world and understand how DSL works.

        My brother-in-law V.RAGHURAM is holding an airtel postpaid connection with no.[protected]. we have shifted our residence a couple of months ago to plotno:73, GF-2, ashwini layout, road no:70, near andhra jyothi office, jubilee hills, hyderabad, where there is no proper network coverage and severe signals problem, because of which he is loosing many important calls.
        I came to know that if such problem rises the company provides a booster device in the house to get good signals. So, kindly go through this complaint and take the necessary action as soon as possible.

          Sir,
          i am suffering from a problem related to airtel prepaid. i have a airtel prepaid connection with no-[protected] from maharasthra. Last sanday(9-Nov-2008) i activated GPRSACT service
          (14.99 rs/day tarrif). But when i was using the net service, my balance was automatically deducted. On sunday approx 20 rs is deducted from my balance without any reason. i talked with Customer care many times about my this problem, but they were not taking serious, no-one register my complain against this, even more no-one give me satisfied answer, always either they put my call on hold then canceled my call, or said that my personal system is down so call after some time.

          Further more 100 rs was again deducted from my balance on next day 10-Nov-2008 at morning for downloading the JAVA game from airtel live. But in real i didnot used the airtel live service in whole day. then why balance is deducted. i again made call to Customer care but again the resond was same and it is same again till now...

          So i request you to do any action on my problem other wise i am going to consumer court:-

          i have postpaid connection form airtel cellular service provider.
          delar has deduct add late fee amount but i can paid my bill before the due (five days before) but retail outletor had up date the payment only after due date why i can pay the late fee amount in next coming bill. I had contact the customer care offcer to retified amount. now days bill statement only on email i check bill but detailed statement can not viewed its preplaned to cut the detailed billing statement. WHY THE AIRTEL IS GOING ON PROFITABLE

            Bill Plan change (from Individual plan to Corporate Plan)

            I am facing biggest problems with Airtel to change my Bill Plan from an Individual 299 Talk Home Indian plan to a CUG 199 coporate plan. I sent all the documents Airtel is demanding to submit for a Bill plan change,

            They asked to pay total outstanding dues + unbilled amount, I paid it and called the customer care to change my bill plan, now they are saying a another reason "go to any Airtel outlet and fill the forms and submit all the documents along with passport size photo".

            I went to nearest airtel office and fill the form and they requesting me to pay Rs.400 extra many to convert the post paid to prepaid offer then we will convert to post paid again the reason is my husband is working in CTS company at coimbatore his having add-on number so that, they require to convert add-on to main number.

            Add-on number cannot be changed to CUG.

            Now I paid Rs.400 extra amount you tell me is it correct? why should I paid 400 rupess extra?

              MY cell no is [protected]. this is kolkata Airtel no. I have been using this no for almost the past 9 years.
              I made a payment of Rs. 3650/- on 21/10/08 at ISPHTIKA UDYOG, SHOP NO 5., LAL GANGA SHOPPING MALL, GE ROAD, RAIPUR. My receipt no is 30626. Now i am not staying in kolkata. I wanted to retain this number so wanted to get it converted to Airtel lifetime. For this reason i was in touch with Mr. Rajesh Singh of Airtel kolkta.
              Mr. Rajesh also spoke to Mr. Vijay of Airtel Raipur. I was also in touch with Mr. Vijay of Airtel Raipur.
              Even after 25 days of making the cash payment the amount has not been credited to my account. I was not even informed, Though i was in touch with Mr. Vijay.
              I would like to complain against the person who has my money in his pocket for the past so many days.

              I had given an written application on 22 Jan 2009 to Airtel Raipur office regarding disconnection of my land line telephone number, But my connection has not been disconnected although I had made the final settlement of my phone bill on 22 Jan 2009 also I have made two more complaints on 21 Feb 2009 and 27 Feb. 2009 regarding the same but no action has been taken till date, Moreover I am asked to pay my outstanding bill for which I don't understand.

                Airtel — want to disconnect my plan

                i the owner of chawla electrical,is the customer of the airtel corporate plan to airtel,i found this plan cost me very high,so i gave a request to change my plan or disconnect my numbers,so they gave me an option of local munafa plan which is valid for three months,after u need to renew this plan again,,,from the 2 last year i was doing this renewing from my airtel moble number i.e [protected],because this makes my call usage cheaper,now to renew i was facing many problems from the last days.now again this corporate plan costs me high so,i have requested so many times to please change my postpaid into prepaid but did not get the right information regarding this.so now i finally made a decision to disconnect my all the four numbers. so please disconnect my numbers.my numbers are [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]...please do this imediately and oblige.

                  This seems to be a lucrative business for most telecom companies. They are charging Rs.5, 10, 30, for so called services provided by them to WAP users. and whitout customers consent start charging renewal fees by just sending the SMS informing that you are being charged sos and so amount every week. A lot of small and big companies are part of this racket like yahoo samsung and one gcclub.In many case for example samsung the content which was downloaded was not recievd and the massage was that the handset is not compatable.(Incidently I have a samsung mobile).Still I was charged Rs. 10. How come that from samsung site(through airtel live) on samsung phone the content could not be down loaded.I got a sms saying that the content could not be downloaded and in case its not compatable and it coud not be delivered then why the charge.They all service providers never advertise or have options o[censored]nsubscribing links and if they give the link it never works. In one case I unsubscribed the facility still I am being charged Rs. 10 per week.(Yahoo).

                  During April 2010, Airtel authority refunded some amount as they activated unwanted service in my mobile. Similarly, during August 2010, one ring tone service and one airtel post picture service activated in my above mobile at their own and Rs.20/- deducted.

                        Airtel — Complaint about missing of documents by Airtel

                        Respected Sir,
                        I bought an airtel SIM card of mob. No. [protected]. on my wife’s name on 14th April 2012, from Shama Enterprises, near Makai Gate, Jaisingpura, Aurangabad.
                        For the same purpose I submitted the passport size Photo & photocopy of ‘ADHAR CARD’ of my wife to the distributer. The service on no. started after 24 hrs. After a week I received the conformation call from the office, then I came to know that this no. was not on the name of my wife and someone else. When I asked the drought why it may happen? The concern person told that there may be interchange in between document.
                        But within next coming days no such complaint or person came to Shama Enterprises for the same purpose. Then the outgoing calls on my no. were been stopped.
                        Now I worried for the Photo & the document of my wife. So I request you to find out the same and make them concern with my mob. No. And let me satisfied with the same.
                        If not, I will register the FIR to the Police station for my future safety.

                          Subject : for false billing and activating alleged another number in my name without my permission.

                          Dear sir / madame

                          I am a loyal and premium customer of airtel mobile since May, 2006. On 11th of August 2008, I went to pay my monthly bill amount of around Rs 700/-. I was surprised when your executive o[censored]ma Enterprises, at lanka, Varanasi, told that I have a payable bill amount of Rs 1600/-. I asked them to cross-check. They told that another number is activated in my name without my permission and knowledge. Your executive could not explain how it happened. The executive tried to contact the owner of another number and asked how he got the connection, the person could not answer satisfactorily. I lodged a formal complaint, thinking that it would be resolved.
                          I am very sorry to say that again in September 2008 that I was told by your callcenter executives that I have outstanding bill for that number. I told them the entire story. After some time another callcentre executive called me to pay for the same bill. I again narrated the same old story. Now every now and then I am disturbed by calls from your callcentre executives and am tired of giving them explanations. This is really disturbing me a lot and it is interfering with my medical profession.
                          Lastly the most frustrating and disgusting thing is that my survices are temporarily suspended. I contacted to the staff at Uma enterprises, Varanasi for the same and somehow my services resumed but just for one day. The same story of service suspension and resumption happened three times. Executives at Uma enterprises told me that they have forwarded a request regarding discount of 1000/ rupees and I should pay my bill of last two months i.e September and October. First you tell that why should I pay the bill if it is showing a payable amount to which another persons’s bill amount is added.
                          Because of suspension of services I am facing great troubles, professional, personal and mental.
                          Now I want compensation from your side and proper resolution of this matter. I am already harassed and now it’s your turn to negotiate otherwise I’ll be forced to take some harsh action.

                          The entire story raises following issues----

                          1. How can you activate a connection without my knowledge / permission in my name ?
                          2. if some one complains about it why investigation was not carried out. Is it not reflecting a tip of iceberg of a larger fraud affecting innocent and unaware people?
                          3. How can you start a connection without valid necessary document. Is it not against national security?
                          4. why no action was taken in this direction.
                          5. why I was continuously disturbed by your calls, despite explaining everything to your callcentre executives ? Each time your executive behave as if they are unaware of all the things.
                          6. why a reputed company like yours employ such inefficient persons who do such mistakes and could not sort it out even in 3.5 months?
                          7. because of these employees loyal customers of your like me (I were used to pay average bill of 2000/ per month in time) suffer a lot.


                          Sir /madame
                          I want definitive steps from your side to resolve the matter. Please donot disturb me through voice calls.
                          Please respond with explanation by mail at following address.

                          If you fail to respond satisfactorily by a week, I shall be forced to take up this issue to TRAI / consumer forums and I shall stop all payment to Bharti Airtel Ltd.

                          Airtel — Wrong bill amount (same old story)

                          Hi,
                          It is very said that company like Airtel keep cheating consumers like anything.

                          I changed my plan on 20th June'2011 from 1MBPS limited to 2MBPS unlimited,
                          * Got the confirmation call twice that it is changed with the new Bill cycle.
                          * Speed Got double facilitating me to download more.

                          When bill generated, it gave me huge sock that plan considered is Limited.
                          I filed the complaint #2801136, called many times (even the nodal office). Finally on 28th august one executive on Nodal Office number accepted the mistake and so called escalated the issue.

                          I didn't get any confirmation yet, and Bill last due date is coming. Again called many times, but same story.

                          Let me know how to proceed.
                          Complaint is still unresolved. And getting threat calls.
                          Getting disconnects frequently.

                          Please help.
                          Airtel payment department is pathetic. They are not ready to accept the mistake, even their Nodal officers accepted it.

                          I don't know why they are so disjoint, I want to interact with one Airetel instead of multiple department.

                                    I have subscribed lovetip from 5432101 unknowingly. So, I want to unsubscribe this immediately from my airtel connection ([protected]). Please guide me how to do it. Thanking you in anticipation
                                    SEND AN SMS "UNSUB LOVE" without quotes, ofcourse...to 54321.It shall be deactivated :D
                                    I subscribed to airtel love messages tip and I want to unsubscribe it now because it gives you the same message three or four times a day at the cost of Ksh. 10 per sms. The sms number is 8121 please help me unsubscribe.

                                    Just send a sms "UNSUB LOVE" to yr sms number (in yr case 8121) and u will be unsubscribed frm Lovetip. Cheers :)

                                      I am using AirTel Pre-Paid service of Madhyapradesh(Indore) since nine months. My concern is, I am unable to call to the numbers( Land line BSNL) of my home town. i.e. Karnataka, Koppal (Dist.), Kukanoor(08534 STD Code).

                                      I tried with 15~20 Prepaid & Post Numbers of Airtel to the above mentioned area, but it says the message that "NUMBER DOSN'T EXISTS.

                                      When I went to my Home town, i.e in roaming same numbers with this prepaid number connects.

                                      I complained to Customer Care regarding this issue for FIVE times. But non of them given complaint number. They said it comes within 10~15 mins, but still I haven't recieved it.

                                      I went Airtel Service center at Saket of Indore and I also Complained Personally, that was also not turned useful.

                                      Connecting to Pre-Paid Customer service is like getting Dharshan of Lord Venkateswara after half an hour or one hour only we get connected.

                                      This is worst service I never found.

                                      So I am using Idea, which is providing best service.

                                      Airtel Service is really worst in Indore. Airtel agent are making fool to the customers. They behave like pet dog till you didn't take a new connections after that they have no concern with customers. Even Airtel customer care people are also not interested in solving the problem rather they said its your fault.

                                      One Airtel Agent Jitendra ([protected]) have given me a Airtel connection and taken away my orginal residential address proof for completing the formalities.. All most four months have passed he didn't returned my original address proof and not picking up phoen. Even customer care people told me why you given him original document.

                                      Its really surprising how Airtel is running its business & how long they they can go with such type of employees.

                                      I won't suggest any body to prefer the Airtel as they are worst in quality of service.
                                      No responce from the companys side to take care of my complain for my landline number[protected]
                                      this type of service providing from a company like AIRTEL is surprising...

                                      Ko tempraly band karwaya tha. Abhi maine usi no.[protected] kai liye
                                      sim liya hai but woh chalu nahi ho raha hai. Jo sim card diya hai uska
                                      sim no.[protected] H-1 hai. Sir plc is sim ko activate
                                      kijiye. Maine sare documents and Fir jama karwa diye hai. Patanahi kya samasya aarahi hai. Plc give me some feedback.
