[Resolved] Alliance — Renewal fraud
Yesterday June 06 2009 I had very important job to be done for my client in the USA and so i was in my office but as it will take a much longer time decided to complete it from my home but it was showing today last day for renewal. so I went to the website www.alliancekolkata.com and saw online renew and i went and provided my alliance user id and the payment was accepted through their online payment portal USING MY AXIS BANK DEBIT CARD with confirmation but MY ACCOUNT WAS NOW RENEWED THEY EVEN NOT PICKUP THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMERCARE IN THE NIGHT GOT THEM THIS MORNING AND A GUY SAID OK WE CAN RENEW THE ACCOUNT NOW BUT WE NEED A CONFIRMATION FROM THE LOCAL CABLE OPERATOR WHICH I DID AND MY LOCAL OPERATOR CALLED ME BACK AND TOLD TO AGAIN GIVE THEM A CALL THEN A LEADY PICKED UP THE PHONE WHEN I EXPLAINED AGAIN SHE TOLD ME TO HOLD AND TALKED WITH THE OTHERS THEN AGAIN TOLD ME THEY WILL NOT RENEW MY ACCOUNT AS THEY HAVENT ASKED ME TO PAY IT ONLINE AND EVEN IF THEY DO THEY WILL DO AFTER GETTING THE MONEY AFTER 15 DAYS IS THIS IS A WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER OF 5+ YRS.
I WILL SUGGEST NOBODY SHOULD USE THE ALLAINCE BROADBAND THEY STEAL A DAY FROM YOU EVERY TIME YOU RECHARGE.
