[Resolved]  Amaron Battery — No response towards complaints.

One month before I have registered complaint that my battery is not working, but there is no response. Even I had made several call each & every time I was told to wait.
It has been now very frustating to wait because I went to dealer (Ghaziabad, GT Road, near Pawan Cinema)many times but response was same.

I think I should go to consumer court & fir a case.

I have purchased one Amron battery for inverter for my house use from one of your dealer M/S Durga Electricals, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad .
After 13 months of its operation, i was facing back up problem with the battery .Battery was not even able to give back up of 30 mins on single tubelight .For this i have launched complain to M/s Durga Electrical, they have visited and found faults in the battery .They recommended me to contact to Amaron[protected], then person from this no. Named as J K Khan visited my house on 10/1/2010 nand found problem in the battery .He has assured me that batery will be replaced with in two or three days .Now more than 20 days have been passed and i am struggling for the warranty replacement of my battery.
Now Mr. Puri from your Ghaziabad branch has told me to claim warranty from Dealer, with all of his excuses .
Kindly suggest me what should i do now ? I am rolling between you and your dealer .

Need your help to sort out this case, as i have suffered a lot beacause of your bad service strutcture

Your kind attention and action regarding the same is requirred .As per Mr. Khan instruction, i have already submitted the warranty card to M/s Durga Electrical .


I think, better way is to throw Amaron Battery from your house and put Exide .A well known trusty name.

I purchased Amaron xenon battery with Micron ups.Battery warranty period is 18 months and no body from the firm turned up for maintenance. It failed exactly after14 months and not replacing.The firm says batterys are not with xe non ups.When such is the case why shoould thery sell batteries and how they are covering up the warranty period. What control the firm is having on the Distributor and dealer.Both the company and dealer is not owning the responsibility.It is high time we take up the consumer court for this unethical practice.When the battery SL. No is given the company is not able to check up it failed with in warranty period.Dealer has saidf the guaranty period is 24 months and no seperate guaranty period is given for ups and Battery.The delaer has not said that Xenon batterys does not have warranty if it is supplied other than x non ups.Who is responsible for the loss.Is the Delaer or the firm.
I had laudged a complaint towards faulty Amaron Pro Car Battery in the replacement periof of 24 months. After 12 days of loudgement the battery is still lying with the company dealer and I am still waiting for the replacement to come. My car is silent from the last 12 days. I had contacted the Call centre almost thice a day. But everytime they ask me to wait for another 2 days for replacement to come. The company had not provided me with the Service Battery, that result in my car is not working. I am struck outside of my hometown (Agra) in Meerut. Asking for lift from my juniors becoz everywhere tepmo and taxi is not present. All this is because of Amaron. I have not seen such a ugly (I am not able to find word worst then this otherwise I will use that) service and the most worst company in my whole career of nine years in service industry. The company service engineer/manager/BH all are telling lies, they are not bothered about customer service at all. Whether the customer is alive or die they are sleeping. I mailed up the top authorities of Amaron as well. To my surprise they are also SLEEPING. If the things are in my control, I will let this company to close all it's offices forcefully. There these shold be "We will not provide any services to our customer, we just torture them"

THE BATTERY IS NOT WORKING. THE DEALERS VISITED BUT HE TOLD TO TAKE THE BATTER Y AT SHOP AND WILL RETURN AFTER REPAIR AFTER 7 DAYS. HOW CAN BE MANAGED WITHOUT INVERTER FOR 7 DAYS.

I have been owning a 1.4 KVA home ups for the last 3 years, lately it has been heating up and I had logged a complaint with your service centre in Bangalore for a paid service. I was allotted a complaint number # 244 dated 24th April 2010, I was assured people will come in at 2 pm, at 3pm when nobody turned up I called up the person and he assured that he will be in by 5 pm. Around 6 pm again I called and I was told that he will be able to come in next day (Sunday around 11 am). Sunday morning I was called up by the service engineer to enquire the issue and location and assured that he will be coming in by 12.30 noon. At 1 pm I called up the person and I was told that there was no spares.
I called up Mr. Sharath Babu ([protected]) for his assistance and he assured he will look into it the next day. Today 4 days have passed but no response yet.
I am convinced that I have made a mistake buying your product
I am adding on to my earlier comment, today is 10th May 2010. Still my efforts to get the service personnel to attend the complaint has not been successful. This is the worst customer care i have experiensed yet. Anybody planning to buy this product please don't or you will suffer if you face any technical issue, which will happen as all elelctrical/elelctronic items need some sort of maintenance at some point or the other.

I bought amaron battery in chennai from balaji motors (no.9, 5th street venkateswara nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600 020) on 29th may 2008. The date of maufacture on the product was 12/2007 which means that i hav got 5 months old product to which the guarantee period is 2 years. The battery was in good condition for about 1 year 8 months but suddenly there was some problem so i asked the balaji motors to replace me a new one as it was inside the guarantee period. He asked me to register the complaint before one week and when i went for replacement they refused and mis-leaded me. And i had to buy a new battery though i could have got it replaced. It is loss of money for me. I am very disappointed.It is probably cheating the customers. The dealers mistake is that he first of all gave me a 5 months old battery from the date of manufacture and later he refused to replace the battery. Is your battery quality so worst that it does not work even for 2 years? I am not satisfied so i want the dealer to refund me the money and give me clarification.

I have purchased a two bataries along with inverter from your distributors M/s R.B.Enterprises SCO 135, Sector 28-D, Chandigarh UT under the bill no. SLC-27 dtd 16.04.2009. Both the battaries are found damed as found black water in the batary. Your enginnering has replace a one batary and refused to change the 2nd one. He is claiming to submit the Battary Warantee card and the same we have submitted with the previous battary and the same is changed. You are requested that kindly instruct your local office to change the battary at the earliest. I have submitted all the required papers to your chandigarh office.

Amaron Battery — No response of complaint

When I complained on 31/12/2010, one person sandeep came and added some battery water and told now it will be ok after some time. but it is not working yet. When I complained it again on10/01/2011 vide complait no.38335. there was no response till date. Please replace the faulty batttey.

We had experience frequently Amron Battery burst in various bus chassis, more than 6 times with in a year. I felt very unsafe because of this type of incident. If any one can help to know to avoid such things, it will be helpful and safety.
Lodged a complaint about defective Amron battery supplied to me 14 months back (18 mths. Warranty) on this page. NO RESPONSE.

Sir, i bought one amaron battery 2-3 months before. It was having one year warranty and my battery stopped working this month. Iwent to service centre and they replaced the battery. But when i askded the warranty card they said they wont give and said battery should be replaced only once. why is it so??? Am having one year warranty ryt?? what will i do if it failed?????
I had purchased an Amaron battery last year to power my office setup. It started giving problems after 1 year. There was no response from the Amaron dealer. Those guys keep on delaying the replacements. It took about 3 months before their service engineers came and fixed the problem. Their service too is not consistent. Each time a different engineer comes and gives a different explanation. I wont buy nor recommend Amaron.
