I am trying from last ten days

i am serving at chandigarh, not getting leave to have enquiry in person.

I am from Amritsar, My passport was issued from Jalandhar office. I had applied for PCC on 29/01/2009 in Amritsar Office and staff member had told me that PCC will be provided within a week. But stil i have not received PCC. I need it urgently.

Three time I enquired at Passport Office Amritsar, every time they refer to Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur.

and every time Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur refer back to Passport office Amritsar.

Our files are yet not traceable.

number of time we have sent the enquity to you but no reply.

we are in very urgent need of Passport.

after checking at their computer at window no. 4. they say they have no information of our files.
and every time Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur refer back to Passport office Amritsar by saying that, they have sent your files to Amritsar.

Our files are yet not traceable.

In this regard I have made enquires on 13 Jan, 15 Jan, 20 January, 29 Uanuary, 30 January, 10 Feb.

pls inform the status as early as posible.

After some time Police Verification was also conducted for all the applicants.
The website is continue to show the status" Information not available" as on date.
I have been enquiry since January regularly, But not received any reply as on date.
Three time I enquired at Passport Office Amritsar at window No. 4, every time they refer to Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur after confirming.
Every time Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur refer back to Passport office Amritsar by saying that, they have sent your files to Amritsar.
Our files are yet not traceable and no reply is coming from Passport office Amritsar as on date as I am regularly trying to get a bit of information since I applied for. Also I have made complaints number of time, but not received any reply.
You are requested to furnish information to the following facts at the earliest :-
1. Status of my applications.
2. In the Case, every thing in O.K and there is no objection on the application:
a) After you issue file Number, What is the maximum time period to issue a Passport (In the case of normal application)
b) If the said period for issuing a Passport ( in case of normal application) has been reduced; after the passport office at Amritsar started giving its services. To What amount it is reduced?
c) If there is any benefit to applicant for the provision of depositing application at Passport Collection Office opened at District level.
3. It is very very expensive for me to go to Amritsar Passport Office from Chandigarh
every time for doing such an enquiry which is of no use.
Amritsar Passport office simply diverting to Distt. Passport Collection Office Gurdaspur.
4. You are requested to do needful.

i have applied for passport at amritsar passport office with file reference no. ASRWO7535109
on their website the passport application is received on 4/8/08. but police verification is not received still now.
tell me what i should do know???

My application file no is asrz03403508.i confirmed my status on web sight, written police verification is not received.i went and asked from suwidha faridkot.they told me we always send application form with police verification.kindly tell me what should i do now?

I had apply for the passport in your office i had also get the enquiry in last month feb, 09 but now till date i had not recieve my passport plz give me suggestion for this what should i do?

Five months Passed : Even then Passing MISLEADING INFORMATION.


Status Appeared is a Misleading Information. "Police Report has not been received";

Where as i confirmed from District Passport collection Office Gurdaspur, It was told that, files are forwaded to Passport Office Amritsar with Police Report ONLY.

This made me further to run from Piller to Post.

What you keep on doing with file for Five Month.

I am sure you do not go through any complaint.

70 days passed I have received no reply.for my complaint

Now advice if i can change the same to Tatkal
