[Resolved]  Amul Dairy — Expired products

We purchased 5 Amul Butter 100 gm packets from a departmental store in Malad West. All the packets had an expiry date of over 6 months. We called the departmental store and advised them of this. They say that we need to call Amul to report this. Why do these departmental stores stock expired products and why doesn't Amul take away the expired products. We didn't purchase the products from the store personally but was a home delivery, so couldn't check the expiry date for all products obviously.

We went to the store and got it replaced when the store confirms that Amul doesn't take back expired products. This is a serious health hazard and is dangerous to consumers. Amul should be doing something about this or else it won't take time for a giant company with billions of turnover capacity to shut down in the blink of an eye.
