[Resolved] Amul Dairy — No expiry date / duration on Amul Taaza 200 ml Tetrapack

Please provide as much information as possible...For last one month I've been observing Amul Taaza Double Toned Milk 200 ml (small) tetrapacks in a shop. The milk was packaged in June 2013 and it is September 2013 now. I want to know if it is safe to consume that milk. I did not expect that Amul will fail to mention expiry date or expiry duration on the tetrapack. Since no expiry or 'best before' information is indicated on the cover, I assume it to be 1 month and I've been insisting the shopkeeper to return the product pack to the distributor. I hope it is not counterfeit. I have tasted the product in July and August and it tasted just like the 1 liter tetrapack. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (1)

Its 180 days from the date of manufacturing, basically 6 months. It's not mentioned on the pack, I found the information on Amul's web site. Amul should print this info on their packs immediately.

It is Jan 2016. Amul still have not started mentioning the 'best before' or 'use by' dates on Amul Taaza tetra packs. It is clear now that it cannot be negligence for years. It must be intentional, for commercial reasons. Did we really expect anyone to care for consumers? That would be so boring.

Adulterated Amul double toned milk supplied at dwarka sector13

Sir, I purchased Amul double toned milk from vinod store on 11th june 2016 at sector 13 Dwarka New Delhi. milk appeared to be adultrated and was smelling bad (detergent smell).
please investigate matter it involves your brand name and reputation as well health of consumers.

Zero rating for not mentioning expiry date or best before on 200 ml pack. Doubt the credibility of such establishments. Worst doodh pita hai India!

I got the Amul Taaza Homogenised toned milk that is packaged in 1st Jan 2017 with no expiry date mentioned..
Same complain was in 2013 and its 2017, still no heed is paid to it...
