[Resolved] Apollo Tyres — No Exchange even after Crack in Tyre | |||
Sir, I have purchased four tyres of Apollo Tyres on 15/07/11. After running about 2000 KM, one tyre gets cracked. And this crack is on non-working area (area which doesn't touches the ground.). The Dealer has sent the tyre at apollo agency but the officer sitting there says no to change the tyre as tyre was not cracked but was due to our own mistake. but I have all, the points to justify myself. Please let me know the procedure to move ahead to approach the way so that I can get the replacement of the same. Please provide me the various contacts/mail ID's. apollo tyres ltd — Tyre Crack
i mail my complaint to Apollo tyres on 26/04/10[protected][protected]------
I have purchased Hyundai i20 Magna from Rishabh Motors Pvt. Ltd. on 18 th Jan 2010. Last month right rear tire got punctured, when I examined it, I found a crack in the tire. I went to your office at Okhla Indl. Phase – I, they checked it and refused to replace it and gave me a rejection letter whose Claim Receipt No. is [protected].
Kindly look into the matter and replace the tire, because it was a new tire and I think it happened due to manufacturing defect.

Dear Mr.Dharamveer,

The tyre under complaint was inspected by our Technical Service Engg. who is technically qualified for checking of tyres. As per the inspection report the said tyre has been damaged by an external object due to which a thrucut has occurred & is absolutely not a manufacturing defect.
