This is a caution call for all residents of South Mumbai.
We were not at home when our maid was informed by security that the water filter person has come to check the water filter. Since this was a regular feature, the maid gave permission for the person to visit the house. This person entered our house and checked the filter and recommmended that, since the unit was old and not servicable anymore, we should opt for their replacement offer by paying a certain amount and left the brochure and estimate for replacement offer.
My wife then called me and asked my opinion regarding the same and gave me the name of the model offered so I could check on the net.
No such model existed for the brand we have at home.
This person came to our house under the pretext of checking our unit from the Brand Company whose filter we use. Not once did he say that he was representing Aquaguard. Only close scrutiny of the brochure made us aware that he was from Aquaguard, a water filter we do not own.

My complaint is that how can a person visit my residence and mislead us into thinking that he was from the company whose appliance we own.
HAd bad exp with "Pure It" as well...every 4 months the filter n Battery-kit needs to be replaced..but the person had come without the receipt/bill from Pure-It and had charged more than usual..
On asking for producing the bill @home, he refused n then took his battery-kit back and left without replacing the old one with new one!!

Hope such ppl dont get away without facing punishment, as they r also spoiling the image of HCL - Pure It!

    Our water purifier of Classical make is under AMC with the EUREKA FORBES vide receipt number[protected] dated 29/7/2010 for three years and was due for servicing for the month of February 2011.No services has been provided by the vendor despite repeated calls to the vendor at B-6/9 Safdarjung Enclave New Delhi. Even a complaint number LS- 46 has been registered with their head office at phone number 30674952 on 7th April 2011 and further take up the issue with their higher officers Shri Ashwani Tripathi and Mr Dhir (owner of safdarjung acquaguard agency--[protected]) but to no avail. Kindly help me.

      I am using Aquaguard Reviva RO water purifier for last one and half yrs. In between there was little problem of membrane but the problem was sorted out by Technician then again its running properly. I have renewed my AMC in March first week. and its filter was to be changed at the time of renewal of AMC but the Technician Ashish told that it not available right now but he will bring next week and get it changed. I trusted him but ten days passed and he didnt came when i called him he always says that filters are not available.

      I also talked to MR. Manoj who is stores incharge probably , he told be he will make available in two days not one and half months have passed but i have not got my filters changed.

      We are using such unpurified water bacause filters are just exausted. my daughter is suffering from Gastro...whom to complaint ..whom to say ....Company has now got only name ...if they dont have filters for last one and half months ...they should not say they are on number one position.

      Its a shame that in this compettitive market they dont have filters ....technician has time to come for payment of AMC but dont have filters.

      I bought Aquaguard Total Reviva RO one year back at cost of 9990/-. Now it is the time of filter change after one year warranty. The strange thing is now the Technician says the filter change cost is 3500/-. My friend has same product. And He got replaced three filters in 700 only with one year warranty.

      Very bad and unhappy thing is why I had not been told at the demo time about the filter facts. And if I have to pay 3500 every year, then why I will go for Eureka Forbes products. In that case Retail bottle (30/-) per day is good for me. I think I have been cheated by Eureka Forbes.
      in membrane bar code and month and year of manufactured is not their is mandatry or its optional

      i agree that aquagurd reviva is the worst kind of purifier. With such a huge maintenance cost several new purifier can perhaps be bought every three years.

      I bought aquaguard ro revive before 1year &half yr. in ro what capacity of tds manage it, after water filtered my ro water tds is 150, it is harmful to me or not & which range is safe of water.

      After spending Rs 3500/- per yr up to 3 yrs for changing of filters. Now pump gone bad. Now technician is saying that pump has to be replaced and cost of the pump is Rs 3500/-. I think Rs 3500/- is may be Aquagaurds lucky number. Worst product. My suggestion is don' t go for Eureka Forbes products.

      What kind of AMC and Service they does when it was under AMC Now we are ended up in paying the more money and demanding us to take the service Representative language was worst
      Same complaint from me, i brought 5600 Rs Eureka filter. When i wanted to replace the filter after warranty period they told me the filter and service change will cost 1800 Rs. Seems Eureka is cheating all the customers in the same way.
      Aquaguard is a pathetic brand...run like a mafia... Beware of the sales person...they are cheats.

      4500 for AMC, with 2 service visits. In last one year, no one visited, nor they are listening to my call...Worst service, poor ethics.
      Filters are really expensive. I really don't understand their strategy of forcibly selling the amc. Company doesn't even track the no of free servicing performed, you need to track and plead to visit your home. This is forcing me to think about Kent or other companies, as here maintenance cost is very expensive.
      I totally agree with all the feed backs above. The service charge for one year charged to me was 4800/- yesterday. These guys are cheating. Moreover these guys only call when they have to renew the service contract. In all other cases we have to repeatedly call them for service. Very Bad as a company taking advantage of consumers.

      Not sure should not there by CAP on this companies to charge service charges. It is easy way for big companies to sell a product at lower rate and then bind the customer with High AMC costs year after year.
      Please suggest some options where I can get rid of this company products and go for some product which is pro-consumer.
      Yes, I have experienced the same. My Aquaguard RO+UV stopped functioning and I requested for service. The technician came on time. He charged around 4800/- for the replacement of filters. It is damn costly. Anybody please suggest other ways to buy these filters and fix.
      All service firms are cheat. They charged me Rs 4000 (that to after a hard bargain of discount of Rs 440 from AMC of rs 4440) for AMC, did not even include membrane filter in that cost. Not a single visit for maintenance in entire year. And after one year they have guts to call for service again.
      Exactly the same even I have seen that there is not a single visit for maintenance in entire year. And after one year they just land up asking for AMC. Stating some filter to be changed etc... Again charge you extra.
      I am having UV filter and wishing to change to RO since we recently changed our residence where we get hard water. The servicing agent before coming to the place is charging around 9000 for changing this UV to RO filer. Any comments please ...I have a feeling that they cheating.
      Not a good product at all.
      Over and above this very bad after sales or service from company.
      Service persons do not attend during warranty period, instead come after warranty and charge Rs4800 as AMC + Rs3500 for pump.
      Totally behind money rather than real customer satisfaction.

      Pathetic product..and pathetic customer service.
      After paying the AMC i am following them for almost a week to get my complain sorted out but no one turned up.
      Seems I am forced to move to some other brand.

      how often I have to change the cartridges/candles and the RO filter. Please guide me. The water I am getting now is it pure or not how can I know? there is no indicator as well. My Reviva is now connected with city water line. in that case is RO filter is necessary? if not then this filter can be usable or not? pl guide me.The last servicing done with filter change done almost two years ago. As i think filter durability depend on total water purified, time used and input water quality.

      Why does the filter does not cover under warranty, also really a worst product to use, my filter gone faulty for more than five times, Aquaguard technician simply says problem with the water, where at my Apartment i have four people who are using Aquaguard water filter, seriously fed up with the product.

      I have buyed aquaguard of 11000 and after 1 year when servicing man came to change filter that was too costly .Its so bad because if we buy your filter every year of 4500 then it is better to take bottle of bisleri per day

      I purchased Dr. Aquaguard Magna model ( without RO). Till date there is no problem with the Aquaguard or with the water quality. Aquaguard service centre continuously call and insists for the filter replacement. In between a person from Aquaguard had visited and inspected the water and confirmed that it not required to change the filters at the moment. Additionally a sales person also advised me that if the water flow stops or experience and bad smell, then only it is time to change the filter. Service centre informed the price of filter 1950/- and pushing to take the annual contract for 3 years. I am unable to understand, whether the filter really needs to be chaged or Aquaguard wants to sell the contract for three years. What is the exact price of filters?

      No happy with such a service from Eureka Forbes. If so there is no point I buying these product if consumables are so costly?

      I bought my Aquaguard GEneus on April 2017 and it is still under warranty, and the service LED is blinking, do i get the replacement of candles or filters at free of cost.? since it is under warranty; i hope i need to get.

        We have given a cheque for a new aqua guard on 7.4.11 in exchange of the old aqua guard. Mr. Vijay who received it promised to install the system in 2 days. It is yet to be done.

            During the last servicing the concerned representative of Eureka Forbes told that both the Candle & Carbon need to be replaced . So I had made an AMC (annual maintenance contract) with a promise that candle & carbon will be replaced within a week. The representative phone no.[protected] & Name is Samrat. I had issued a cheque in companies name. But nothing has been replaced & machine is not working properly.Despite of my repetitive calling the person is not answering my call. My strong advise to all person interested for buying Water filter - Please " Don't purchase Eureka Forbes product". My phone no.[protected].

            You are absolutely right friend. Even I have a similar experience. The after sales service of Eureka Forbes is extremely poor and pathatic. I have been making several calls daily to their helpline no for the last fifteen days but nobody has attended me. What I get is only an assurance that the technician would definitely visit me by evening. I have never seen so poor a service as that of Eureka Forbes. I will never suggest any one to ever purchase any of the aquaguard product.

              I regret to inform you that I have purchased a Aquaguard Water Purifier Classic model on 15/02/2011 thinking that we will get purified water from KMC supplied water in Mukundapur Area. We have not getting proper purified water from the machine. So we have put a complaint on 14/03/2011 docket no. 84498818, nobody came to solve the problem. Then again raised a complaint on 15/03/2011 docket no 84500428, a service man came and told us this area with this machine “Aquaguard” Classic model will never give proper purity of water and the taste will also not be changed.
              Now nobody from the Company Eureka Forbes is interested to rectify or replace or change the machine to get proper purified water.
              You are therefore request to take necessary action at the earliest.

              Eureka Forbes / Aquaguard Water Purifier Classic Model — No responce for reinstallation of Auqua Gurad Classic Water Purifier since last 3 months

              5 months back we have shifted from Hyderabad to Pune, we have Aqua Guard Water Purifier with 3 years AMC also, We have called to customer care re-install the Aqua Guard Water Purifer... they have registred the request and given request numbers also(Latest request no[protected] which has registered on 05th December 2009) from 5th december after giving 10-15 complaints also there is no responce from Customer care.

              Please help us in this regard.

              I have an aquaguard clasic modle. I have paid for AMC, but no body is attending the complaint since last 75 days and no response from the compainy.

                This is about Aquaguard sensa+ customer service from Eureka forbes. The person by name Vivek ([protected]) lands up at the door on a sunday morning to do a regular maintenance for the water filter without taking any prior appointment. When asked to come later in the evening, he came again and did the so called maintenance service. Till then the water purifier was working fine, Ten minutes after he left home, water started leaking from it profusely. When he was contacted, he said I have reached home and cannot come now, the next being a holiday in Karnataka, he said he can come only on Tuesday. It is extremely rude on the part of this company to send some one first without any appointment and taking customer granted and then doing a shoddy job of maintenance and again not fixing it up immediately. It is clearly the fault of Eureka Forbes and I had to suffer for their mistake.
                This is actually the second time, the previous maintenance service did exactly this and I had to call him again to rectify the leak. This company never learns from their mistake and the attitude of their maintenance staff is horrible.

                  The Aquaguad with cooler having model AGCCP is defunct for last two months. The AMC has been given to the company i.e. M/S Eureka Forbes Ltd., Forest Park Bhubaneswar on 14.05.2010 vide contract receipt no CP[protected]. Despite repeated telephonic request the service provider is totaly reluctant to provide service as terms & condition. Hence it is requested to take initiative to repair the machine immediately in order to avaoid any further legal proceedings.

                    i have bought a Water purifier(RO) from eureka forbes, and as per the sales representative Mr.Rajesh Tiwari([protected]) from eureka forbes , there was a Carrying Bag coming with the model Riviera (RO) , which i have not received yet , it has been more than 2 weeks i am calling him , but he is giving me many excuses now , and these eureka people are sending many other guys to my house claiming to be demo persons for eureka forbes vaccum cleaner department . I bought this purifier from eureka forbes for prompt service only , but i am not getting any respond to my requests and complaints . after i made my payment all of their commitments have been failed . i have asked them for a invoice , they said it will come by courier , 2 weeks not received any invoice also . please dont buy anything from eureka forbes if you want good service

                      I have a service contract with Eureka Forbes for my aquaguard. I have not been given the terms of the contract. But from what I remember I am entitled to a free candle replacement & change a of carbon twice a year. I called the service centre for the same & the technician claims he has replaced a candle during his first visit which he did not. There is no record with us every time they drop by. They keep the card with them & can manipulate the same which they seem to be doing

                        This product deficiency complaint was lodged by me as follows:


                        "The product (AQUAGUARD TOTAL REVIVA WATERPURIFIER) was purchased on 12.06.2010 from M/S. DARSHAN ENTERPRISES, AUTHORISED FRANCHISE, EUREKA FORBES LIMITED, MATIMANDAPA SAHI, PURI, ORISSA , PIN:-752001( PHONE NO. [protected] ) and is well within the guarantee period. During nine months of purchase, it has troubled me so much that in addition to two free servicing which I have already availed, I have paid for three SFilter candles as the service provider tells that those candles had gone out of order because of impure water received from bore-well source. All the three times, I had paid two hundred thirty rupees for each of the candles. Despite two times of free servicing and three times of S Filter change, the speed of water flow has not increased; rather it has started slowing down after every time of servicing, so much so that only nine to ten bottles of water is available to our family per day for drinking purpose only. Now, the service-provider tells me that there is inadequate pressure for water-flow at my residence, which I contradict with my simple logic that, at the time of purchase, about ten to twelve buckets of water were received daily, and now only about ten bottles. I find no solution to my query and am inconvenienced beyond manageable tolerance. During the past nine months , they have changed its capacitor and blower on two occasions admitting that the trouble I am confronted with has only one equal during their entire service period as only another customer is having the similar harrowing experience.

                        I hope I have reached you fully. I only request you to restore my confidence of about two decades o[censored]nflinching devotion and allegiance for your products, such as Aqua guard, Vacuum Cleaner during my stint as Bank High-end Executive. I am waiting for their response and outcome of my complaint will find coverage in my subsequent writings.”

                          Hi,
                          Eureka forbes executive Kishor Kadam ( M. [protected]) had asked for appointment to show demo of Vaccum Cleaner on 25-mar-2011. He was asked to come on weekend but he came home same day at 10:00 pm!! He did the demo and forced/tried to convince for buying the product. I asked him that I need time to think and will revert. Next day I got call from Eureka forbes and I told that for now I can't buy then.
                          On 27-mar-2011, Kishor Kadam again called in morning and insisted to buy the product and was forcing me to explain why I am not buying it.
                          During conversation he started yelling at me and used abusing words !!
                          I have complained to his boss Farukh Patel but not sure there would be any action again this.

                          It is shocking that Eurka forbes is training their executives do go to such an extent!!
                          And there is no provision on Eurka forbes website for complaints like this.

                          I feel bad that I have ordered Eurka Forbes Water Purifier few days back.

                                  My customer id is [protected] and my product is Aquaguard Total Sensa (SMP+) that I purchased on 21.9.2010.

                                  For past 6 months we have contacted your service center thrice. From the day you have installed this product, it is malfunctioning one or the other way.

                                  Your service engineers are clueless on how to deal with it. At this point of time the product is not functioning for past 15 days. And we are without drinking water.

                                  Therefore we need it's complete replacement and we are spearheading towards consumer court.

                                    i have a innova aqua gurd.from 19th till i buy drinking water for my family.becoz last today was holiday & today i m missguided by the service man of them.today i hv complaint for service,they attend after two hrs of cmplnts.then the guy told me that 1 perce is not with him which is requred for my machine,he told me he will come back within 4pm.still now he will not contacted with us,we are living without drinking water.

                                      A complaint with regard to fault in the functioning of Aqua Guard - Aqua flow water purifier was lodged on 28.06.2011 vide request no [protected] and it was told that the same would be attended within 24 hrs. Till date the same is not attended. I was told by the Eureka Forbes call centre to call on 28706671 for escalation of complaints. On calling, Mr Ramchandra didnot cooperate and didnot attend to the complaint. This is not the first instance of lapse in after sales service provided by Eureka Forbes. Pl look into the matter and take necessary action and get my complaint attended urgently. My cust no is [protected].

                                      i bought aquaguarde of the sensa in 2010.every 2yrs iam paying AMC, about RS.9000 plus but iam not happy with the service.on March 3rd the filter was changed.at that time itself i told the machine is making some noise.the technician MR.SALIM is not bothered.again the machine stopped working.i called on [protected].they took the complaint n told the tecnnician would attend in evening.after coming back from duty i called on the same number n i was told the technician will definitely attend.i waited till 7pm, nobody attended.i have to go n get drinking water from shop.next day when i called from my mobile [protected] they started disconnecting.i called from another number immediately they lifted the phone.that evening MR.SALIM attended n said one of filters is not working n changed it.i requested him to check it properly as the machine is making some noise.he refused.on Friday 20th MARCH i called n again asked for help.MR.SALIM called n started enquiring about the problem.i told him tee same n even the water is coming hot.then he told me to switch off the machine from 9am to 8pm though i told him this problem is there when i switch it on at 5am.he has not attended.today morning i got sometime to observe the machine.to my surprise it is even leaking from below.he must have handled the machine roughly which he always does.iam o DOCTOR.i wont get so much time to go on waiting for these people.they dont have respect for the customers.kindly solve my problem.

                                        i purchased eureka forbes uv ro water filter on[protected] from mmj marketing,shahganj,agra. at present it is under comprihensive service contract ,receipt no. 51/00014348,the expiry of which is on 01st april 2011(paid ammount to eureka forbes Rs 4000/-).about one month back it stopped giving potable water.on complaint mechanic from service centre found that cendles are choked thats why candle indicator is blinking. they tried to clean the candles(in a wrong way)by striking them but all in vain.i contacted eureka forbes officer at noida Mr. ramesh joshi(mobile no.[protected]) and mr santosh at lucknow several times on phone,also lodged complaint at eureka forbes web site but my filter is not repaired yet .i sent an e mail also to mr ramesh joshi on 8-3-2011.filter model has a faulty system.as they claim that when the candles require replacement,candle indicator shall blink,is wrong,as indicator is controlled by a built in electronic timer and has no connection with candles.due to all this i have to purchase drinking water from market giving me lot of trouble and financial burdon. kindly get my filter repaired and water tap changed free of cost under amc and oblige.
