[Resolved] Aquaguard Total Smart Ro Filter — Refusal of company to carry out repair work in warannaty period | |
I purchased a RO filter(Aquaguard Total Smart RO) on[protected] direct from the company - Eureka Forbes Limited from Sh. Pradeep Karn(Ph. [protected]). On 20th June 2009, I requested for free service of the filter. A mechanic from Neha Enterprises came. However, he broke a connector, and our RO Machine stopped working at all. On several requests, and after several reminders another man came from Neha Enterprises, and claimed to fix the problem. However, our RO Filter still did not start. Now the company is refusing to give service at all even in the warranty period. You are requested to please help us in this regard. My Aquaguard RO filter is not working since[protected] and all my request for repair has fallen on deaf ear. My Ro stopped working on 22 June 2009 and I launched a service request on EF helpline on 23 June 2009. A service engineer came within 2 hours and claimed to fix the problem. However the RO stopped working after 1 hour when the guy left. I re-launched the complaint and none turned up until next thursday, that too after my repeated calling on the call centre.
The guy came and diagonised that one component needs to be replaced and when asked can he replace it now, he said he does not have the part with him and will return the next day with it and repair. since then I have made numerous calls to the call centre and even dropped emails to the company's email ID but again my requests have fallen onto the deaf ears.
They make good products no doubt but their after sales service is pathetic.
Today, I called their call centre again and they blamed me for signing the document with the service person stating that the product has been serviced and fixed to my satisfaction, although, the person never presented the document to me and I never signed one.
These Sales Associates of Eureka Forbes are only interested to get AMC contracts with the consumers and they do not provide services during warranty because customer will not pay anything.
I wonder can something be done in this regard. Can someone help me understand the system of Consumer Courts because I am seriously planning to take a legal recourse against them.
