[Resolved]  Aquaguard Water Purifier — Issue with Aquaguard Installed

The Service Team of Aquaguard is not servicing the machine under warranty as promised by the Sales Person who sold the machine earlier. The delay in service and response has passed the warranty time of the machine. There is no co-ordination between the sales and the service team.
The Service people were ready to service the machine well within warranty period by renewing the warranty to next one year.
The Aquaguard team has not been able to fulfil their promise of performance of the machine (3 liltre water / minute) as per specification shown by the sales person.
Aquaguard is simply buying time to void the warranty period and sell the renew of the warranty for next one year and only repair the machine which actually should be replaced with a new one.


This is the mail Correspondence we have with the Service Team.


Dear Mr. Ajay Vaish,

Thanks for the response, as per our previous correspondence I would again like to reiterate again that the salesman had miss sold the unit and had stated, at the time of selling the machine, that for the first year everything would be covered under the warranty. I would suggest that your sales and service centre should co-ordinate amongst themselves and should settle this once and for all. Also, as stated by your salesman, at the time of sales it should be demonstrated to us that the machine would yield 3 litre per minute.

This is with reference to our previous correspondence with your service/sales centre regarding Aquaguard installed at

The machine was installed at the above mentioned address on the 12th August 2008. The machine was sold by Mr Arvind Shukla.In true sense the machine was miss sold. We were told that our old water purification machine, which was already in good working order, is not very efficient and the new machine would yield 3 litre per minute.

The machine from day one was not working and at no given time was yielding the amount of water as stated by your salesmen. We have, on numerous occasions, have lodged complaints with the relevant departments. For the past two months the machine is completely out of order .Following is the list of few of our correspondence.

Initially called the complaint number 2230314

Complained lodged on 27/07/09, complaint no 407

Complained lodged on 31/07/09, complaint no 1118

The complaint was also personally lodged with Mr Vaish (Supervisor Complaints)

On numerous occasions we have spoken to Mr Arvind Shukla and he has advised us that we should lodge a complaint about this and the machine should be replaced.

On speaking to the customer service it has been advised that the company would service the machine only if a new yearly service contract is bought. The machine’s warranty ends on the 09/08/2009. The machine is completely out of order for the 2 months. It is quite evident that the customer service is using delaying tactics and are waiting for the time when the warranty period expires.

The installed machine is not working which is causing great deal of inconvenience. This kind of service is not expected from a reputable company like yours.

I would greatly appreciate if you could appoint personnel to look into this matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Dear sir,

I am SUDALAI SURESH, L&T Manager, Padiyanallore. I was purchase the AQUAPURE RO NANO water purifier (before two months), when the machine was installed that day onwards the machine repair. I was compliant so many time to the customer care and service center also(complaint Number[protected]. Till the machine is not service and now the machine is not working.so, kindly change the machine (or) return the money to me.
