I am a customer with Axis Bank Ltd, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi but stay in Bangalore. Although I can write a book about the ineficient services produced by Axis Bank, I would like to mention my latest experience which took place today. I had applied for the facility for Online Banking transaction with Axis Bank 2 months back. It did not get activated until 05th May-08. Whe I tried to do a online transaction after that, it asked me for a transaction password. As I was unaware of that, I called the customer service and they told me that the transaction password was couriered to my home branch in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. I immediately called Axis Bank and spoke to the manager. She confirmed that no transaction Id was generated. I again called Axis bank customer service and they once again confirmed that the transaction password was sent out. After spending 2 hours on the phone when I conferenced my bank manager and the team leader from Axis Bank, the customer service dept. confirmed that they had mis guided me and there was no transaction password sent out. I asked to be transferred to a higher authority and was done so. I spoke to Ms. Chetna Avadekar, AVP Customer Service and asked her for a compensation for my ohone bill that I was speaking for the past 2 hours and also my lost employment work hours. She clearly mentioned that she will not do anything about that and I cannot be compensated under any cost. This sort of experience from an institute like Axis Bank Ltd. is shocking and unexpected. Even if you write to the complaints dept. of Axis Bank, they do not respond to your queries or even acknowledge the fact. Ms. Shweta Assudani the manager of my branch in New Delhi, Axis Bank is the proof of my complaint. She knows exatly what happened and can confirm my statements mentioned above. Kindly advice, help. and have applied for online banking twice once in sdecember and again in july but except assurances nothing is comming out putting us into lot of difficulties and unabling us to operate when away from India
we have a home loan account also in the same name and have requested refund of about Rs.
four thousand and have given written requests also.we have aslo sent two e mails to your North zone New Delhi office but no response and shows how efficient services are being given to the customers.
