[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Pathetic Service

AXIS BANK is the most irresponsible bank I have ever come accross. I have my Salary Account with this bank. On 10th Sep they transferred Rs. 3000 from my account to some other Account in Tamilnadu. When I asked them they refused to accept the fact that it is their mistake. Later they agreed to it but still said to transfer the amount back they need an underwriting that I have not transferred the amount. I even gave the underwriting and finally got the amount transferred. But then came to know that my Account has been debit frozen. Then again they asked for an application to open up that Debit Freeze. Even after giving application and rigorously following it up as on date also I cannot transact from this Account. My aCc No is [protected] with Axis Bank, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. I even followed up with their office at Barakhamba Road but was of no use. As on date also I am striving to withdraw my money from this account.

With the change of name from UTI Bank to AXIS Bank has not given any boost to the services offered by the bank. With repeated requests to the bank for issuing me a chequebook has been on deaf ears. Any request with the bank has to be made one month in prior to get your job done as the customer service of Axis bank can only forward requests to the concerned department but no follow-ups and no action taken. AXIS Bank has got pathetic customer service offerred to its customers. My salary account has been in the bank for last 2years now and whenever i have to request for a service i am turned down by an answer to contact the branch or the request has been forwarded. Looking forward for no business and not suggesting anyone to have any account with such a pathetic customer service bank. A normal mail within INDIA takes 7days and i have request for a chequebook on 15/10/2007 and till date 27/10/07 when i call customer service,all they have to say is that they are sorry the request was been forwarded but "NO ACTION TAKEN", will be forwarded once again. This aint the first time this has happened, only one message to AXIS Bank with reagrds to the competition it has got in the market today...... "Improve on quality,not on your name"
I agree, I've lost my bloody card and I can't even get connected to anybody to tell them! And the hold music sucks big times, as if that's not enough. Just how long can I listen to it!
I have always been a well wisher of Axis bank . When my freinds used to tell me about delays in transaction , i never use to belive bcoz it was the only Axis bank ATMs which is available at most of the areas and use to provide quick services to me atleast . But this time it has happened with me that i have dropped 5 checks form badlapur ATM centre on 15/01/2008 the checks were not deposited in other persons account and till 22/01/2008 . I had to face terrible situation . A normal transaction is done within AXIS bank in3 days . Its have troubled me alot and was not in the poistion to answer that person. on 22/01/2008 i spoke to your staff of thane branch and he helped me out with immediate transfer of money the next hour , Thanks to him.I just want to know the reason why the transaction was not done in its due period from the AXIS bank account to AXIS bank. I want you to take it seriously and reply .

They will withou information chreged me Rs1850/- (Rs.1500+Service Tax) for non salried Ac charges withouit any information me . They have all detail of my Mobile No., Address, & E_mail ID's.
After my telephonic & Branch visit only they are reply me " you have not receive any salary last 3 Monts so we are charging you this amount. "My" Question is if I was lost my job in this resession time how, I will got my salary in this Ac. ?? This is responsibilty of the Axis Bank & Oganizatin comes for this information (of my non Salary Ac converion & it's charges) give to me. In this this time I am in the need they are withou any prior information cutt my saving amounts. This Very unhumnity & frodness.
Kindly Pay attention on this matter & realise him there resposibilities.

I have requested for a cheque book on 17th August 2009 and got a request no 9387814, after 4 days when i asked on customer care no 22839971 then they told me to wait 2-3 days, becase it takes maximum 7 days time, again i asked on 26th then they told me they are launching a complain and I shall must get within 2 days, today is 28th August 2009, still problem exists on same place, when I asked in my local branch at kakurgachi branch -kolkata, then also they are unable to solve my problem, I asked about courrier despached details to trackout my checque book, that also axis bank unable to give the docket no. Now I fall a very big problem because I have to issue some cheques in favour of a financial institute to get a loan but I am totaly unable to issue and Axis bank is not serious about it, they are not feeling my problem and always say that they are launching a complain but result is ZERO.
I opened a savings bank account (A/c. No. [protected]) with Axis bank, R.A. Puram branch, Chennai on 03.09.2009 and received my cheque book and Debit card on 06.09.2009. It was also informed to me by a letter dated 06.09.2009 that I will receive my ATM card pin and internet banking details shortly. I was in a bonafide belief that I will receive the ATM pin and the net banking details within a day or two. But to my utmost shock and surprise, I did not receive the said ATM PIN and other details eve after a week. I immediately contacted the branch and enquired regarding the same. I was informed that they have to process the PIN in their head office located at Mumbai and that I will receive the same in a week. I am an advocate practicing in the High Court of Madras and due to the unavailability of ATM PIN, I was not able to withdraw cash from my account even during emergencies. Even after two weeks I did not receive the PIN and I once again contacted the branch and informed them that it is impossible for me to operate my account without my ATM card and net banking details since I was not even provided with a pass book. I have to rush to the bank each time to even check the account. It has been almost 2 months since I had opened my account in the bank and it is sad and heartening that I still haven’t received the ATM PIN which is supposed to be the basic facility provided by any bank. Contrary to the tall claims and assurances made by the representatives of the bank regarding top quality service, I was made to run to pillar to post to even obtain a ATM pin. I have made a written complaint to the bank and also applied for a duplicate pin but nothing has been processed. I have also given a complaint to their customer Grievance cell but nothing has happened. Having no other option I have also given a complaint to the Banking Ombudsman.

Axix Bank, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi — Non issue of Cheque Book

My SB A/C No. is [protected]in Axis Bank. Since I have made a request to issue me a Cheques book for the last 40 days. So far I have not received the same. I have also made so many calls to the Bank on phone but of no use. Kindly help.
