[Resolved] Axis Bank Credit Card — Reward Points purged | |||
Hello , I have been a very loyal customer of Axis bank credit card and have been using it very extensively and never defaulted on even one payment for the last 3 years/since i started. I acccumulated about 25000 reward points to my credit. Due to my travel commitments, I could not use my card for the last 6 months but it is still active. Once I used in US about 3 months ago and the transaction was denied. So, technically, I used my card. I called the AXIS bank customer service and requested for redemption of the points, they plainly said that ALL THE REWARD POINTS HAVE BEEN PURGED (??) due to no transactions in the last 6 months. This is ridiculus. I spent so much money to be able to get the reward points over a period of time and it is very disapponting. I have not been intimated even through an email that this would happen. Nor I have signed any agreement on this. There are fair business practices but I dont think this is one. They could have made my card inactive rather than only punish(??) me by purging/cancelling my hard earned points which is to thir advantage. This is absolutely not a fair business.
