[Resolved] Axis Bank — credit card & fixed deposit scheme | |||
Dear Sir, I am an Axis bank customer & my name is Simon Andrew. I was harassed by the call centres of this bank repeatedly asking me to enroll my self for a creditcard as i was one of the lucky one to be selected for a Platinum CC. After rejecting the offer 4 - 5 times atlast i got fed up & asked them to come & get the form filled for CC. I was assured of the card within a month, but i received a letter saying that my application was rejected due to some reason. I neglected the letter as i was not interested in the credit card anyways. After few days again i received a letter mentioning the reason for rejection, which was, address not being verified as mentioned in the form. Where as i get all correspondance related to my account with this bank on the same address, also the letter of rejection also was send on the same address. Then there was a favor mentioned below, that they will still allot the CC to me only if i buy their Fixed deposit schemes. I understood the dirty game planned by Axis banks marketing team for selling CC & fixed deposit schemes at the same time. I wrote innumerous letters to them asking for an explanation & atlast got a rejection letter for that too instead of answering or explanin the goo[censored]p. Inspite of warning them that i will go to their higher authorities, they least bothered & till date have not replied. Kindly help me in exposing their bogus schemes where they dupe customers & humiliate them by inviting at first & then rejecting their application. Regards, Simon Andrew. [protected].
