[Resolved] Bajaj Discover 125 Cc — Problem in Engine | |||
I am from Delhi. I bought Bajaj Discover 125 from Dewan Auto, R.K. Puram, New Delhi on 12th August 2011. The frame no is 00586 and engine no is 90149. My bike no is DL-3S CA 4511. Starting from beginning, I am facing so many problems with this bike. I already registered the complaint for the problem (http://www.consumercourt.in/bike/89452-issue-bajaj-discover-125-a.html) and it has been sorted out after a long struggle. I have given my bike for third free service on 8th May[protected] Kilometer). My next service will be either 120 days from the last service or 14,500 to 15,000 Kms. On 24th June 2012, my bike stopped in the middle and I was not able to start the bike. When I showed to nearby mechanic, I came to know that the engine got seized as engine oil is empty. At that time, the kilometer was 7,163. I am wondering, how the engine oil become empty within 1,163 kilometer. May be they forgot to put the engine oil. Whenever, we are giving the bike for service, they are just doing the water wash and put the polish. They are not doing anything further. Even though the engine is under warranty, they charged me 2,500 and only changed few parts in the bike. And the way the General Manager responded to me was intolerable. Even after the service, the bike is not running smoothly as earlier. Either replace this bike or handover my bike with good condition. Was this information helpful? | |||
