Sir, I have purchased on Bajaj Pulsar 150 CC UG - Black, from Authorised Service Centre for BAJAJ Auto Ltd.Its full address is New Country Motors 61/A, Ghoshpara Road, Ghushipara, Barrackpore (N) 24 Pgs., Kolkata - 700120 and its Proprietor is Dinesh Agarwal. On purchase i asked him to provide me the Temporary number for the vehicle . but he is refusing to give me, rather he keep on saying me that there is no temporary numberr for two vehicle. Keeping this in mind i searched on google and find that there is something called temporary number which is issued As soon as a vehicle is purchased, the dealer of the vehicle issues a temporary licence sticker known colloquially as a TR (To Register) number. If there is no valid written proof available with you from the dealer that he will provide T/R or P/R for your vehicle, then you can't do anything. You can't take actions/complaints against him. Better get it done yourself at a nearest RTA office (Road and Transport Authority). Take your vehicle to this RTA office and apply for a T/R, they will issue one. After one month, again go this RTA office and apply for a P/R, they will courier it to your residential address.
