[Resolved] Big Bazaar / Bedroom Furniture — Big Bazaar not providing bedroom set on time | |||
Sir, On 26/10/2011, I had booked a bedroom set that includes a queen size bed, a wardrobe cabinet and a side table, at Furniture Bazaar section of Big Bazaar, Poonam Mall, Wardhaman Nagar, Nagpur. I made a payment of the full amount of Rs. 18,999. I was told by the store manager, Mr. Dilip Agrawal, that the bed was immediatley available, but the wardrobe cabinet and side table were not available. He assured me that the same would be supplied after 15 days. Now almost a month has gone by, but they have not yet provided the goods. I am being told that the goods are stocked up at the Cargo Hub at Nagpur and will take another 20 days. I was not even informed about the reason for the delay and was told only when I repeatedly called them. This is absolutely ridiculous and irresponsible customer service by Big Bazaar who make tall claims of good customer service. Kindly advice.
