[Resolved]  Birla Tyre — Replacement of Tyres

I again facing the problem with Birla tyres and the company is again refusing us to replace our tyres. 3-4 Months back, our 2 tyres of BT/112 7/50/16 got damaged and we submitted these tyres to Birla office in Transport Nagar, Luhdiana. After few days, i asked them about our 2 tyres & they said your tyres has been rejected by the engineer and told us that your tyre got damaged due to "Rim". Presently we have 4 Tempo of Tata 709 & 1 tempo 1109 having tyres of Ceat & Apollo company and never got this type of problem with any other company, then why this problem came with your tyres only. I requested them many times to please recheck it as we were using these tyres only from last 4-5 months. After long discussion with Mr. Hemant Bhalla (Manager) & engineer, i even asked them to cover 50% of tyres but they also refused for it.

Now 1 month back, our 1 more Birla tyre of BT/112 7/50/16 having tyre no. "0063011" got damaged and we again submitted it to Mr.Ashok at birla office on 27/11/2012 & he told us that you will get it within 2-3 days. After getting no call from birla office, I called to Mr.Ashok 6-7 days back but he did not know any status about our tyre & told me that i will call you back & give the number of Rajeev(engineer). But i did not get any call then next day i called to Mr.Dinesh(Engineer) and he told me that your tyre again got rejected due to the same above Reason of "Rim". I asked him how it is possible as this tyre got fluffy from the above side of tyre then how it got damaged with "Rim" and secondly why only Biral tyre got damaged with RIM. If there is problem with our Rims then why it is not effecting to anohter company's tyre. I also talked to Mr.Hemant bhalla ji 2 days back and requested him to please look into the matter but did not get any response.


We started the transport business in feb'2012 and got only 1 time problem with CEAT tyre and M/s Ved & Brothers took only 5-10 mins to check it and replaced our tyre instantly. But in case of Birla,this is my 6th tyre which got damaged and having very poor service to replace the tyre.

Last time when i got the problem with our 2 tyres (on 2th day from use of tempo) in feb, Ludhiana birla office rejected our 1 tyre(without any reason) and for another tyre they do not have stock to replace it & linger on me for 2 months. When i put the complaint on "Indian Consumer Complaint Forum" then on next day only they resolve our issues and also agree to replace our another tyre.

So,it is my request to please help us to replace our latest tyre and also another 2 tyres which they rejected by giving a reason of "RIM".

today i have receive a call from this no. [protected] and he said to me i make a blank call to his another no.[protected] from 3-4 days.but he receivce blank call from this no.[protected] and my no.is [protected].when he dial this no.[protected] the call t/f to my no. [protected].
i can't understand what i do. plz do the needful immediatly.

We have purchased New TATA 709 from Dada Motors in which we got the tyres of BT112 7/50/16 of Birla company. We started to use our Tata 709 on 9-2-2012 and after 2 days our 2 tyres got damaged. I have submitted these 2 tyres to Birla tyres office through Dada Motors reference letter in Ludhiana having Address: SCO-91, Transport Nagar, Ludhiana for the replacement

At the time of submission, the representative at Birla said you will get these replaced tyres within 2-3 days. After 2-3 days, they said your one tyre got rejected by the engineer and you will get only one new replaced tyre. First of all we don’t know on what basis they have rejected one tyre and when asking for another tyre they said we don’t have stock of BT112 7/50/16 right now and you will get it within 1-2 days. After calling many times, they always said we don’t have stock of it. Even i requested to their Engineer "Mr. Vivek chattarji" to either arrange the tyre from your dealer network or give me cash against that tyre but he refused for that.

After many days they called me and said we got one tyre which is having different model and you have to pay extra for it. We are unable to understand why the company do not have stock of BT112 7/50/16 from last 50 days and if company don’t have stock then why the customer have to suffer for it. It is our bad luck to have a Birla tyre in our new vehicle. The company do not think that the customer is suffering from last 50 days and we have do something for him but surprisingly they do not even called me single time to update the status. Please help us and replaced our two tyres.
