[Resolved]  BMC Mumbai — Street Dog Complaint

Dear sir/madam
I live in gomagrah vithal nagar north avenue road santacruz west Mumbai -54. There are around 4-5
dogs in our area and they start barking at 2AM every night and wont stop for about an hour. They are a real nuisance. Some of the dogs are diseased and a serious threat to public health.and one dog comes in our building and sleeps there, that whole part stinks.
Please send a dog cather to resolve the issue.

There are 15 to 20 street dogs in yogi nagar Jain Mandir lane. Every day almost incidence of dog bite.. Children are fearing to get out of house and now infact dogs have turned wild and biting elders also.. Please do take some action immediately

They bark even on residents of this area. I have seen and faced this situation where these dogs barks on us and come closer to bite, several person have faced the same problem especially small children & senior citizens. Especially at night these dogs just come running behind us in a group and are almost about to bite.

So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send Dog catcher team immediately in this area so that we can get rid of this problem soon.

I would like to bring your kind attention on the problem being faced by residents Chawl and near Pentecost Church as a whole. Sir there are numerous street dogs in this vicinity. They bark even on permanent residents of this area. I have seen and faced this situation where these dogs barks on us and come closer to bite, several person have faced the same problem especially small children & senior citizens. I personally had succumed to an injury in my leg as I moved a step back when one such such dog was trying to jump on to me. While I moved a step backwards, there was a stone kept there as a result of which I slipped and the ankle of one of my legs twisted. Especially at night these dogs just come running behind you in a group and are almost about to bite.

So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send Dog catcher team immediately in this area so that we can get rid of this problem soon.

I live in radium apartments, shreyas colony, goreagoan east.
there r 5 to 6 stray dogs in the locality which are creating a lot of nuisance. they disturb a lot during night. also during day they make a lot of noise of barking to people passing near them. it is disturbing our sleep and also creating a very noisy environment.i would specifically mention that one dog is the noisiest of all but unfortunately last time when dog catchers had came they said it its a pet dog. they might not have a license.(a shop in our locality). i request you to look into this matter as soon as possible. please take a strict action as soon as possible.

I want you to get rid of the Street Dogs in our area and everywhere else you can before they seriously harm someone. If you don't do something I will kill them all myself. They come to close from behind for bite without noise. Yesterday same incident happened with my children. adjacent to our building there is un authorised & un occupied hut but it is occupied by road side dog at least 7 to 10 dog's with there poppy's.

Please do somethings regarding dogs barking at night here.They start barking at midnight.Its become a daily routine Its so difficult to get sound sleep.We are having health problems because of not getting proper sleep. also they chase people if any is walking on the street at midnight.
