[Resolved] BSNL Landline — Refund of deposit on surrendering Land Line

I surrendered my Tele No[protected] in Jun 09. On surrendering I filled up a form regarding the place where to post the refund and i gave my home address in kerala. after few months when I enquired about my refund, BSNL replied that they've already despatched it to my PREVIOUS BILLING ADDRESS. The place which I already vacated. Further I contacted the Accounts Department and Grievance Cell, and they colud only suggest that , the customer need to take up the case of a loss of Refund Cheque after the normal validity period(6 months) of the Cheque. Then only the refund can be regenerated .

Does this find a foolish way do bring more work on everybody ?
Then why they ask for a foreign address to despatch the refund amount ?
Under which account are they going to link the Interest for these amounts ?

I really appreciate the Grievance Cell, for atleast their response. Of course, further it doesn't made any result.. as it again trapped in the same RED TAPE net.

please advise the way it can be retrieved.

I surrendered my landline[protected] on 6April2016. Refund of my deposit (Rs2500/) seems to be processed in accounts section Kodambakkam as enquirer personally. But till date the amount is not deposited in my bank account.

I have requested to disconnect my BSNL land lineTelephone. It was accepted.
On 20/08/2016. It was disconnected. (Image 1)
ON 27/10/2016 - as per BSNL Bill I have an amount ₹6, 369.11 With BSNL. It combined amount of Security Deposit and Balance from Annual Payment, of the above mentioned Account.(Image 2)

Till now 20/04/2017 I have not received any payment from BSNL.

They have not providing the tracking details and told us to enquire from post office so on what basis to enquire. They could only suggest that, the customer need to take up the case of a loss of Refund Cheque after the normal validity period(6 months) of the Cheque. Then only the refund can be regenerated .

I Sehgal Rupchand Arun resident of Vadodara was having Land Line telephone No.[protected] which was disconnented as the service was not GOOD from the BSNL, and all the documents required was given with the FORM and application on 7th november 2017. Till date i.e. 11th march 2018 the amount of deposit along with the discount i.e. total Rs 3176/- is still not received from the BSNL.
I, have contact several times to the SDE Mr. D.R. Sharma of Makarpura BSNL office but no action taken for REFUND of Security deposit plus the discount of Rs 176/- i.e. total Rs 3176/-
Request for early action by the authorities of BSNL.

i ve been running Pay Phone in the Village in Goa as the time came all pay phone are closed i have paid deposit of Rs. 24, 000/- to the BSNL Office at Panaji Goa when i have gone to ask my refund they say bring the Documents i have produce all the documents to the Office but the Account Officer asking for the original one i have all Photo Copies of it they checked my balance on the computer it is there but i think they need bribe to give my deposit this is from the year 2007 i ve been going to this BSNL office

Last few weeks back I surrendered by Land telephone (BSNL) with Ochira telephone exchange.[protected]. May I know the latest position of the security deposit which is required to refunded to my mother's account for which the account details have already been submitted.

If there is delay in refund of security deposit by BSNL, please lodge a complaint on https://pgportal.gov.in

I had applied for refund on 12/10/2018 and was told to wait for 3 to 4 months. I lodged a complaint on pgportal on 09/11/2018 and received refund cheque in three weeks on 30/11/2018.

I was having two landline connections, one at my shop ( [protected])and other at my residence ([protected]). I surrendered first one in Nov 2016 and received message for a credit of ₹ 577/- against security. Later I surrendered second one in June 2018 and received message for a credit of ₹ 923/- against my security.
Both the credited amounts are still being awaited to be received by me.
Please make arrangements for immediate refunds of these amounts to me.

My land line telephone N0.[protected] was disconnected on my request from 28/09/2019. A negative bill for Rs. 2780 for the period from 01/11/2019 to 10/11/2019 was sent on my e mail ID and the last date for payment was 02/12/2019. But till date payment of Rs. 2780 has not been made to me. The competent authority of BSNL is requested to let me know when the payment of Rs. 2780 will be made to me. As per norm set out by BSNL that security deposit will be paid to the consumer within 60 days after disconnection of the telephone. Then delay in payment
