[Resolved]  Canara Bank — Customer service

I am vijaya. S,

My father is holding savings account in canara bank, pallavaram brach, chennai, my father got debit card but that card has not activated so far even today. I have stepped and out to the bank for more than three times. There has been no action taken by the officer who has taken in charge of issuing debit cards, last week before, again i have approached the officer for the same issue. That officer didn’t hear my issue and went to ground floor to refill the cash to the atm which i actually don’t know that he is going to atm. If he wound let me know means i at least come another day for this.

I thought that he is taking some break and keep waiting with hope that he will return back after 10minutes. After i lost my patient i asked about him to the security who was roaming around there. He just treated me very worst without politeness. Not only for me but for everybody who has approached to him. Some illiterate people is asking some doubts to the officers who is in charge of counters. But few officers in that branch are not responding well and shouting at them. One man got shout from a officer and he approached to the branch manager to raise complaint. But the branch manager not even listen that what he is trying to tell.

This is all happening in the canara bank in pallavaram, chennai. No officers are controlling poor behavior of security; manager is not controlling the poor behavior of officers. They are showing there unity to the customers and that is coming out as harassment.

Me and my family members having account in 4 different banks other than canara, i have not seen such a poor service without politeness anywhere around chennai.

I don’t want the action to be taken for my issue. I want the action for entire services in that branch. My father is monthly paying insurance money through canara bank account. Only because of that he have no way to close his account.

People will be glad if action take regards this,

I used my Canara Bank ATM card bearing no - [protected] in Dhanlaxmi Bank ATM machine on[protected]
at 10.19 AM in Thanthonimalai Karur for RS-10, 000/- but the transaction was declined with the response message as
" UNABLE TO DISENSE " and my account was detected by RS-10, 000/-.,

Then i have lodged a complaint with Canara bank Karur Branch.,

Please check your ATM details of Thanthonimalai in Karur at 10.19 AM on[protected] and pass on the details to my concerned bank as early as possible and the maintaince of atm centre in Sungagte - Thanthonimalai Karur is in pathetic situation please improve the situation so the this kind of problem will not crop up.,

I SM Reddy is writing this on behalf of our association member of Mr S Kaliappan who is drawing Army Pension from the Elumalai branch since 1986(code-1022) account number is[protected]. My pension was revised from Jan 2006 on the sanction of 6th CPC but the branch was not yet revised inspite of a due drawn statement properly calculated and issued to them during Aug 2011. But the manager says consult circle office Madurai also contact the person who deals with but not yet cleared the disputs till date and harrassing me since Aug 2011 to date.Please look into the matter and clear as early as possible. Hope you will assist me in this case to avoid me to approach the Court of Law

I am S.Ramadas. I am having an SB a/c in Canara Bank, Villivakkam Br.I have opened an FD in the name of Ramadas.S and in N.kohila.The interest on FD is not paid fully at the end of the maturity period.When I contact the branch manager, he told me the interest deducted is deposited in TAN A/c (Tax detuction account) and issued the form 16-A TDS.I have already submitted PAN no and 15G forms.The interest deducted in the name of S.Ramadas FD no.[protected]/1 is Rs 340/= and N.Kohila FD no.[protected]/2 &[protected]/2 is Rs 2934.17. Hence I request you to refund the deducted amount Rs 3274.17 and credit in SB a/c[protected]

I am rajasekhar, i am working in cognizant( bangalore), my father had been expired in 6/6/2012 and till now my mother does not single rupee of Pension amount, i spoke to bangalore branch, guntur head branch manager everyone saying money has been realised but Pedakakani Manager is saying bangalore branch does not realise the money.

whom i have to trust manager of the Pedakakani or Bangalore branch.

Its really a very poor service given to the widow of the EX-Service wife, my father given valuable service to the country and now they treating like this.

mother will eligibile for 12, 000( approx) but bank manager saying he will pay 5, 000 as per month for six months.

Dear Sir,

I am a SB account holder (A/C. No. 1849.[protected] in your reputed Canara Bank Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad Branch since 25 years. Unknowingly and without my knowledge, an amount Rs. 14, 774.97 was debited (deducted) from my account on 3rd December 2013.

When I enquired from Canara Bank Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad Branch manager, he told me that the amount was debited wrongly towards HSBC OBC insurance premium. I was surprised to listen this from him, because I do not have any insurance policy so far. I also told by Canara Bank officials, that the amount was debited from Canara Bank, Delhi, Janpath Branch by online.

Same incidence was happened to my account in 30th May 2013. After great struggle, my money was returned back to my account on 4th May 2013. You can verify from my SB account transactions about the earlier incidence for your clarification please. Kindly refer my e-mail correspondence dated 4th June and 5th June 2013 with you sir for earlier incidence (also sending those correspondence as attachment to this mail).

Hence, it is clearly showing Canara Bank negligence and due to Bank officials mistake it was repeated the same again exactly after 6 months period (i.e first time on[protected] and now i.e[protected], especially to my account only.

Since it was repeated again, it shows that the route cause for the said problem was not rectified earlier by the Bank officials in May 2013. That is why it is recurring again and again and now I am suffering just because of indiscipline and irresponsible attitude of so-called CANARA Bank office staff/HSBC-OBC or combination of these three establishment officials.

Hence, it is requested to kindly see into the matter and trace out the culprit who has intentionally or unintentionally linked this insurance premium to my account number and delete my account number from the HSBC-OBC insurance premium records permanently sir. I do not have patency to bear this type of debits (without my mistake) sir.

Also please try to revert back wrongly debited amount i.e Rs. 14, 774.97 to my account immediately sir.


Hope you will understand my anxiety sir.

I request once again to take permanent solution not to repeat the same once again to my account and also request to pay back the amount to my account.

I was applied the debit card for my account form past four weak ago, branch employers are not response to me, not only me so many people are tell...very worst service in canara bank comparing to other banks...Please friends Don't open the account in canara bank if any branch...

I have canara bank account In Chikkerur branch. I swipped my debit card in one of the cloth shop at bangalore on 19th. Actually we swipped two times of INR15000. At that time it was declained but later i got to know that the amount has been debited from my account. I Checked with the shop keeper but for his account also it was not credited. I called canara bank customer care( as per my experience canara bank does not have customer care it has rowdies gundas In their customer care) first they suggested me to wait for 2 days if amount not returned lodge a comolaint in home branch. since amount not credited to my account i lodge a vomplaint in home branch on 24th of Jan 2015. Till date i dint heard anything from the bank. Please i[censored] have any concern about ur customer call me on [protected].
I have few questions in my mind.
1) how do we trust canara bank?
2) how It became Nationalise Bank if the service worst than the co-operative banks
3) why do you have cuatomer care? My suggestion is please shut down ur customer care. It is of no use to the cuayoners
