Sir,
We were contacted by a lady claiming to be from Garuda Administration, saying that we had won 8 free gifts in a lucky draw. All the gifts were described over the phone. We were then told to collect the same from an address on Castle street.
We repeatedly asked her if this is part of some promotion for resorts / clubs etc or any other kind of promotion, and we were told that that is not the case, and it was simply a lucky draw we had won.
When we went to the location, we found that to be the office of Casa Retreat Pvt Ltd. They started by asking us to attend a 20 minute optional presentation which we refused. They then handed over some cheap gifts and discount vouchers for some hotels etc. When we protested that this is not what we were promised over the phone, they added another cheap gift after another 30 mins of protests from us.
We finally refused all those junk gifts and returned back.
What surprised us was the amount of lies and deceit that these people resort to. They lied saying that they were from Garuda Mall Administration, and they lied about the kind of gifts.
How do such people get away with such blatent lies?
Through your reputed media we want to bring this to the attention of the City's people, Administration, and Garuda Mall's real administrators about the Mal-practice happening in their name.
