My name is Venkateswara Rao GORTI working as Project Manager in Mobily Infotech. When I am in Accenture I taken this Credit Card No [protected] and I got 400/- rupees as extra charge as Interest including the late payment fee. I called up the customer care they told me that they can not do anything. I sent out mail at that point of time. Remaining amount I paid and I scrapped the card with out paying this 400/- rupees. Then I went to US and come back and planning to purchase a New Car and I applied for SBI CAR loan then I got to know that I am defaulter of the SBI. which is not actually right. Please help me what is the exact status and how to over come on this.Because SBI is not provided the loan to me then I took it form HDFC. Was this information helpful? | |

HDFC is the most unethical bank in India.
Their total finance/late charges on a card with limit of INR 20K has been about 10K in the span of just 5 months. They make money by unfair means. Customer care is just a formality. You will doubt whether machines are replying if you see the response from their grievance reddressal cell. They encourage vocally to go to RBI...They are not afraid; because they have clearly known the limitations of Indian customer over the years.
Their collection executives are the most untrained and rude set of people.

I have also faced the same peril from HDFC Bank. And since last few years suffering because of bad CIBIL report, which I was not aware of and there is NO system which intimates the customer on the BAD CIBIL report and ways to sort out things.
A PIL should be raised to end this exploitation.
