I was also one disappointed person on locating the address of club india resorts

Iam Having a time share in the CLUB-INDIA-RESORTS Pvt. ltd. KODAIKANAL.And i tryed a lot to get in touch with them and failed. If any one knows about them, or any information Pls let me inform to my mail to [protected]@gmail.com.

When i tryed to get in contact to the Club India Resort at poomparai village at Kodaikanal.There is no reply from them. And then i send a letter in Registered post with my lowyer. For this i get reply. After then I wont get any reply from them. As per my knowledge The MD of the club India Resort is living in the resort campes only, and he was trying to handover the complet resort to his son.
This is the information i got 4 years before. After then i forgot this.If any one knows any details Pls share it to each other so that we can take nessery action against them. In my circle there is 3 to 5 member are there.

understand the name of the resort is changed due to change in management (source local travel agent) trying to get more details soon...

I am a Malaysian who met the owner and his son through a travel agent (shareholders) who were interested in rehabilitating the resort and get it back into business. For the rehab work the Owner with the travel agency shareholders discuss with me asking that I also become a shareholder and that they need only about $30, 000 to get the resort into operation in stages, with the profits they promised to continue the rehab work to get the resort fully funtional. Over the next one year the travel agency directors received over $50, 000 and the owner of the Resort received $20, 000 in cash transfer from Malaysia. After some time the owner who initially wanted about $30, 000 went on to say they need another US$100, 000 to get the resort fully operational. He also want a vehicle to transport the guest, which he is only uses for travelling around. The promoter (the travel agency shareholders and the Resort owner broke off their association where the resort owner accused the travel agent of pilfring the funds send to them by me from Malaysia, the furnishing and electrical items like TV and kitchen utensils were reportedly second hand items and were report by resort owner as not working.

The resort owner pormised to give a decent area from his 800 acre plot, which he claims to be the owner, nothing has happened so far. Now he does not respond to emails.

I am asking for the local lawyers to take up the case and would like to draw the three partners attention to recover my money with interest, the story give us to belief that they are all shareholders and needed funds to rehab the resort and give a share in the property or pay back with interest.

My Father in law has had a similar experience--it is highly inappropriate for the company to just vanish with the hard earned money of so many people. Is there some consumer court action we can take as a group? Meanwhile, I found this listing in Bangalore---pasting it below---not sure if this is the same. would someone in Bangalore check it out?

One Mr.Raju was the Chairman and used to stay in Kodaikanal and one Mr.Ravi was the MD. Both were Tamils of Sri Lankan origin. I am talking about the company in 1993 when I worked there for a brief period of 2 months. It had about 25 sales executives getting people to join and had lots of doctors and highly placed persons taking time shares. They were second only to Sterling resorts in those days ! So disturbing to know that they have gone underground...

I too own time share. I have made two personal visits and met Subramaniam also. He says members can go over there and stay. But facilities are very poor. No service and everything was in a bad condition when I went about 5 years back. Some reluctant people go and stay at their risk.

What I learn from locals is that the resort is still rented out to corporates and some money is made.

Location of the resort is really awesome and we members should collectively take action. I live in Chennai and probably Chennaites should first meet and discuss the course of action. I am ready. Why dont we join and discuss.

our family is also Time share member for 99 years in club India Resorts, kodaikanal and till to-day we have not utilized our holidays, and i am not able to get any information nor response from any source, I think the only way out is to file police complaint, and file criminal case against the owners, for this I think we all should join & work unitedly to get some fruitful results

Just i get the information about the resort. It is now working properly and the room rent is Rs:2500.00per day. And the Owner Mr.Raju is looking of the resort and living in there is self. ADDRESS is CLUB INDIA RESORT, POOMPARAI, KODAIKANAL.there is no land line telephone.Just i talked with him as looking for the room so that he taled with me. his mail Id is [protected]@hotmail.com.
