[Resolved] Club Mahindra Holidays — Reservation nightmares
I have been a RED category Club Mahindra member for over 3 years now. It has been a terribly frustrating experience most of the time trying to get reservations even months in advance. Today I tried to get a reservation for any of their 3 different resorts for the month of October (3 months from now) and I was told all resorts are full and there is no availability which is unbelievable. Incidentally, October is a lean season for these resorts and I have the highest category membership (RED). This has been a recurring pattern for me and I now have 20+ vacation days available with no way o[censored]tilizing them because the resorts are always full. I face the prospect of these vacation days lapsing because I am close to the limit on how many days I can accumulate. I am really unable to come up with a way o[censored]tilizing my vacations. On top of that, the call center folks do not have a clue on how they can help me with this situation. Twice I have tried to get a supervisor but they are never around. I have no way of contacting CM customer relations directly because the only contact numbers that are published are for the call center. And every week I keep getting calls to refer friends to CM. How does CM imagine I will refer any one given my situation? What recourse do I have? Is there any hope of this situation improving? How many members does CM have? What is the CM holiday capacity available and how much have they oversold? Are there are stats available? Can I get my membership cancelled and the amount refunded? I am a very bitter customer at this point. And I thought I could trust the house of Mahindras based on their reputation when I acquired my membership. I am disappointed to see pages and pages of complaints in this forum. Was this information helpful?

Club Mahindra... STAY AWAY from the company... I am a (un-happy) member too, even after paying so much, I do not get my holidays, they ask us to plan 6 months in advance, all services in their resorts are to be paid extra, dining charges are too high, ASF (annual subscription fees) to be paid extra each year in addition to membership fees (the ASF charges increase every year), not all resorts have kitchenettes... long list of issues which the management doesn;t care for, all they want is to make new members. A review is also posted at http://shib4u.blogspot.com/2009/04/club-mahindra-review.html
I too have the same problems, although the guys at call centers are very courtitious, they do not have answers or suggestions to our problems. Even if we plan well in advance like 4-5 months the resorts most of the time are full. For last 2 yrs. I am taking my family to places where Club Mahindra has resorts but we have to pay and stay at some other hotels. I have lost hope of staying in Mahindra Resorts.
