[Resolved]  CMDA — Illegal construction in chennai

Respected Sir,
I would like to compliant on the Irregular construction in guindy. Am a resident of SP Kailash apartment, Race view colony extn. Next to my apartment on 16/B, Vallauvar Street, Race colony extn guindy a Irregular construction is coming up. As per CMDA rule Section 25 planning parameters Table 1 ( ordinary residential building and other small buildings ) they should construct at least abutting 1 m from all the sides including front side .But on the above address they not even a left 1 feet in all the sides and including front road side . In fact on the front side from the Corporation lamp post only half a feet has been left and the major part of the building coming up on the very close to road.
On the above I have already given a complaint to Mr.Murali AE Of Chennai Corporation on the irregularities. Due irregular construction there is No Room for proper ventilation and lighting in our apartment. Due to structure entire Light and ventilation blocked to our apartment and as well as to Next apartments in the area.
My sincere request to enforcement cell to visit the location and restrict the construction and insist them to follow up the rules laid by the CMDA .

VERY CALLOUS.NO ACTION IN REALITY.ON PAPAER THEY CLAIM TO HAVE FORWARDED THE COMPLAINT TO THE COMMISSIONER/AREA ZONAL OFFICE WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO DEMOLISH BUT IN REALITY NOTHING HAPPENS. I REFER TO MY COMPLAINT TO THE CMDA REGARDING AN ILLEGAL STRUCTURE HOUSING THE CANARA BANK AND HALF A DOZEN OTHER COMMERCIAL INSTITUTIONS ON KUMARAN COLNY MAIN ROAD VADAPALANI.DAILY A MINIMUM OF OF MAJOR ACCIDENT OCCURS IN ADDITION TO SEVERAL SMALL ACCIDENTS MY SELF BEING A VICTIM'S

I WONDER IF CMDA IS ASLEEP OR DOES IT IGNORE THESE BLATANT VIOLATIONS FOR SOME CONSIDERATIONS. NOW THAT THE SUPREME COURT HAS DISMISSED THE CASE CMDA SHOULD WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY DEMOLISH ALL ILLEGAL STRUCTURES.

I have planned to construct a house at Thirunindravur, Chennai around 500 sqft. The total area comes to 1015 sqft.I have also applied for CMDA approval through local body of Town Panchayat, Thirunindravur. Now my building plan got approved. Kindly let me know the payment procedures.

I live in an apartment in Mandaveli on the 3rd floor without lift. The apartment is 23 years old. Now that we are getting older and unable to climb...we have an idea of constrcting a lift . We also have a duct open to sky measuring 8 sft.. The duct has been a source of light and air for the residents of the rear side of the block.
Now a lift provider is ready to construct an hydraulic lift without affecting the light and air
with a little bit of civil structure . At this stage, if all the safety measures are adhered and all the owners of the concerned block agree, is it permitted to go ahead with the construction. what is the procedure to apply for permission to CMDA authorities. Do you have a precedence of such a facility provided elsewhere in the city ? Please let me know how to take things further ? thanks and regards

In our street the roads are 20 Feet road In that road the person was constructed 4floor in corporation land .I already complaint but no one has taken the action .person was constructed of in corporation place.i inform near my corporation office but no action sir .in our street many of them complaint but no one has taken the single action .please take a action . i have send the complaint no please take a Look of it. please see the complaint status and they are not even taken a single action and check how he constructed in our street the place also a corp place .we are inform many times to the corporation office but no one was taken .he was fighting . when i am ask to the corporation office.corporation officer are also helping to that person .please take a action .please check the complaint how the officer are answering their status 885ECA.He constructed fully until no one has taken the action.name of the person paluswamy

Illegal buildings can easily avail drainage, water and electricity connections by Property tax assessment certificates are key source to avail drainage, water and electricity connections. As long as somebody depends on (ill)legal revenue on illegal buildings nobody can curtail them. Let GOD resolve, if possible.

I would like to compliant on the Irregular construction in choolai.I am a resident of No.49/2 periya thambi street choolai chennai-112. In my next house OLD No.49/1 periya thambi street choolai chennai-112. A Irregular construction was built up. As per CMDA rule Section 25 planning parameters Table 1 ( ordinary residential building and other small buildings ). IT WAS 369Sq.Ft ONLY, BUT THEY BUILT G+2. AS i am so fear about that because they constructed in single brick wall in all four sides's. Also it will fall off any time into the next Building. I have already complaint but no one has taken the action till now. So I Requested you to take action as soon as possible to save some of innocent person's life. My sincere request to enforcement cell to visit the location and restrict the construction and insist them to follow up the rules laid by the CMDA .

Sir, I am already compliant on the internet as well as corporation office about the illegal construction in choolai but no action was taken against them till now!. They started to construct G+3 now! But it is only 369Sq.Ft (approx) Address of the building is Old No.49/1 periya thambi street, choolai chennai-112. Sir am a resident of Nolambur near to Ambattur.I approached the panchayat for NOC to build a individual house.The panchayat president is not signing the papers, on asking for a valid reason he says the road connecting me to the main road is jus 16feet wide so he says its not possible to construct more than ground floor.Things being so there are several apartments which are being constructed beyond my plot on the same road all of them are havin 3 floors.
Is the nolambur panchayat president doing like this to extract money from me as he has done from the apartment promoters or is he ignorant?

I would like to compliant on the Irregular construction in 3rd street, Avvai Nagar, Burma Colony, Selaiyur, Chennai. A Irregular construction is coming upat the end of road encroaching the govt land. As per CMDA rule Section 25 planning parameters Table 1 ( ordinary residential building and other small buildings ) they should construct at least abutting 1 m from all the sides including front side .But on the above address they have not even left 1 feet in all the sides and including front road side . In fact on the front side, portion of the road is enroached upon and part of childrens park is also encroached. Due to irregular construction, the entry to the adjacent porition of land is also blocked. My sincere request to enforcement cell to visit the location and restrict the construction and insist them to follow up the rules laid by the CMDA . 1. BROKE DOWN OUR MACHINE WALL WHICH WAS OUR COMMON WALL TILL THE ROAD WHICH IS
MORE THAN 20- 25 METER. TOTAL WORK WAS TAKEN IN NIGHT .WHICH IS 1 FEET OF WALL.
2 COMPLAIN WAS NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY NOT LEFT ANY SPACE ON

Respected Sir,

I am Arun, living in this house A/3, 10th Cross Street, Trustpuram, Kodambakkam, Chennai 600024 (Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board) since 1982 with my father, Mr Selvaraj.

Mr. Dominic Savio who is living in front of my house, No. 22/29, 10th Crs St, Trustpuram, Kodambakkam, Ch 24. He has built a 3-storey building with 6 tenants without parking for a single, two of which who have one ambulance and one auto rickshaw and others 2 wheelers. They have been trying to remove my fence which I put approximately 8 years back however it is opposite the road of his house and trying to park the ambulance and auto on the TNSCB area. Also the drunkards were sitting in that auto and creating nuisance, drinking and smoking in front of my house, being threats to the ladies going across the road. Just for that reason only I put a fence in front of my house as my neighbors did for the safety, but Mr Savio is giving me torture by sending unknown persons, drunkards with the help of local politicians to threaten us and now they have demolished the fence (05/12/12) and it has now been a problem for us without fencing now.

I don't know whether he got approval for building his 3-storey house without parking facilities for his tenants. I am not only the victim here, also my neighbor whose fence was also demonlished that day. I hereby register a complaint against the above-mentioned person that he has been giving me mental torture by doing such annoyance to us every time, so I would be grateful if you could send your enforcement team to have a look at his house and take action against him to let him understand that he has no rights to come opposite the road and park his vehicles in our TNSCB. I enclose some photos for your kind perusal.

I have registered this same complaint long back to Chennai Corporation but with no response yet, I would be very thankful if would give me justice in this regards.

i was owned house in porur, my residence next building was build was very closely touching in my Residence, particular person name is Mr.Chellamuthu, He is own Business for chit finance (Kanthu Vatti + Meter Vatti)total building material was traffic by street, and another person Mr. Narayanaswamy was develop the own building, this person also same category compare to Mr.Chellamuthu, i think this building not covered for the under rule act CMDA Approval, so kindly take the action for this corrupted persons, Please find the address also i attached, this persons not pay for the income tax also, i forward this mail to Income tax Department Also, Kindly do the needful...

As per CMDA rule Section 25 planning parameters Table 1 ( ordinary residential building and other small buildings ) should leave minimum 5 feet all the sides but D-74, 18TH 1ST CROSS STREET, PERIYAR NAGAR, CHENNAI-600082 did not leave 5 feet on the left side and the front side. He has built stair case on the right without leaving an inch. I kindly request you to take proper action against him.
