compaq/laptop — Unable to repair my laptop

Dear sir,
I am a student pursuing my M.B.A. from Pune. I have purchased a laptop which had some problem with the screen after only 5-6 months. My laptop was in warranty and I gave it for repairing on 1/11/2008 at Vintech Electronic System Pvt. Ltd. at A1-A2, Ushahkal, Shree Prajakta Co-op Hsg. Society, Deep Bunglow Chowk, Model Colony, Pune-411016. Their ph no:- [protected],[protected].
Sir, they promised me that it will be repaired in 15 days. But its nearly 3 months that it is not repaired yet. When i contacted them they always give me assurance that in 7 days it will be repaired, even they sent it to Delhi but still have not repaired my laptop. Then I told them about going to consumer court that too didn't made them to repair it, so sir I have no option left and I request your help on this matter. Sir as an MBA student I have to make many project and presentations and I need back my laptop as soon as possible to face any further losses of my studies. Please help me.

i have compaq laptop service tag # B2816TX. ITS ON MY NAME rahul sharma...the laptop has been more in service station for repair rather than being withme..im fed up with it...its keyboard has been changed..its motherboard has been changed but it still does not work...how many time shud i give it for repair..i have used it less..this is a fraud towards the customer..plz reply...[protected] is my contact no.

Compaq laptop — problem of laptop

i purchased a laptop on 23/9 /2008 with 1 year warranty,
now it is not functioning well it shows a problem in screen, problem in dvd writer, also it shows heating problem...
when i approached its service centre on 14/5/2009 they told me that ''your laptop warranty has allready been over in april 04'', they also told me that ''the purchasing bill is also fake''
please suggest me the possible options, wheather should i approach consumer court or not.

dear sir, myself brij mohan, i bought the compaq presario note book and i won as prize of philips home theatre system model no-DSV2200-WORTH RS.10500(INCLUDES DVD player with 5.1 output and remote +5.1 speaker system) with compaq presaripo notebook.if the company can not take some quick action to home delivery of our prise.then i can go in consumer forum for your product.

compact laptop — mike problem

I am unable to record my voice because my headphon's mike is not calebarating in my system. I am

from varanasi, i had gone to compact service centre .They told that this is a software problem and i have to format my system. I actually wants to know to is it a hardware problem or software problem ? please help me. I also need compact's toll free number for further correspondence. I bought compaq Preserion from my friend.

It was working properly, but its battery backup was very low, so mostly I was working on charger.
Day before yesterday when I started my laptop only Power Indicator was lighting but the sceen was still black. I charged it for a long time but still it shows the same problem.

So, my I request you to help in this regard.

compac — Display problem

With due to some problem which I don't know, my laptop(C610) screen have some black spots and internal cracks, by this problem display come only right 1/4 part.

And my laptop in warranty period it was cost me 34,300 Rs , so kindly solve my problem and tell me the solution

compaq/laptop — defective LED - no warranty cover

I have bought a Compaq laptopn about 4 months back

few weeks back the screen went cracked over night

according to company now, this is not covered under warranty & now they are asking three fourth of the original cost of laptop for screen change. They are saying that tis is consumer mishandling


This is a full cheat as the screen went cracked of its own

it could be an accident but a crack is a physical damage neither u or the co. has physically done it so...

The same problem happened with me. Ultimately those service centre cheaters tried to convince me that my warranty was over considering the date of production(6-8 months back) as the start of my warranty instead of the date of my purchase.So by the third time, the warranty dint stand infront of them.If they could ever answer me as what is warranty and what it is, if anyone has to rush for repair again and again during their so called warranty and after. Unfortunately i could not not settle my scores with them The company must put a check and punish such service providers. I strongly dont recommend anyone to buy HP in Agartala(Tripura).
