Complain against Hathway (Cable Tv) Can anyone reply

Hathway has stopped sahara one and sahara filmy channel, sahara samachar and some other channels of sahara in

mulund, thane and many other places

In Goregoan the sahara channels are showing . i asked them why they
said because in Goregoan there is CAS system


It is more than 10 days and they are not starting it

what to do
are they allowed to stop any channel and take same monthly rent from all customers

Cable Tv — harras and unfair charges by local cable operator

Sir,
I live in Indira Nagar in a rental house. I need to change my house within 2 or 4 months due to office problem. Everytime I change my home i pay coneection chg between rs.300 to 400 to my operator. Now i again change my house and cable operator ask me again rs500.(non refundable) as connection chg., is that fair?. I have a cable wire 12mts long i offer him to take rs.100.00 as a connection chg and i pay rental as usual but he refused. kindly help me to protect my money to unauthorised and illegal operators. Kindly help me if you can. I am very much thankful to you.

Hathway — Regarding channel.

There was a Space Black channel. but it is not cancelled and new Campus channel is in that. I donnot want that channel. I have purchase the Set top Box for the Space Black Channel. You have to start again the same channel. Please ...

this is to inform you that our cable operator can not transmit sahara one channel.
Same Problem here in Borivali East area... i am a working in a company..and only get sundays to watch the TV but the reception is too poor and below par... even most of the Sports channel are not their... Really ed up with the services of hathway cable and as well as their INTERNET... it is ridiculus...
I am fed up with lodging innumerable complaints against Exotic Cable, Kishangarh, who is the local service provider of HATHWAY CABLE, AB-8, Second Floor, Safdarjung Enclave, Near Kamal Cinema, New Delhi - 110 029 Ph: [protected]. I have asked them to disconnect the cable service at my place, but neither they are providing me service not they are disconnecting the cable TV. They have refused to pay back me the security deposit that I had given to them at the time of subscribing through them, which is nothing but harassment. Further thte local service provider i.e. Exotic cable (Mr. Mishra), Kishnagarh, Vasant Kunj is charging Rs. 6 per channel, which is higher than the TRAI charges of Rs. 5 / 5.35 per channel. The Exotic cable is not giving me the proper bill receipt after collecting the monthly subscription charges as well. Hence as a last resort, I am left with no choice but to refer the matter to you for the redressal of my grievance. An early action would be appreciated.

weekly 2 to 3 days no power in the distribution
center of hathway when i call the landline any day
and any night no one is bothered to lift it and now
i am having a doubt that whether the anand nagars office is working or not if not please

We a working couple with a school going kid - the cable oeprator who operates in this building has suddenly disconnected the connection and claims that he had visited our home 25 times in January 2011 for collection & nobody was there - though today only 18 days have passed in the new year - last year Feb I had paid for the entire year - but basic courtesy demands that he call us up - This is the most disgusting thing to happen and they claim that they cannot visit on Saturday/Sunday when we are at home - pls. note I am seriously thinking of discontinuing

Hathway TV Cable — Bad service from Hathway

I am a hathway kothrud cable customer. our service is blocked from 3 days. I had complaint n number of times with no responce. I asked them to send someone to check. There was no response/call/visit from Hathway. I will NOT RECOMMEND anyone for Hathway Cable.
I am HD subscriber at Kandivali East area. The LCO is Sai Star Cable with Hathway. The service is really very bad. I have pain in full for all HD channels and now they have blocked 3 HD channels. They are asking for extra money for these channels although they have taken payment for all channels.

Customer service is worst. There quality and response is worst. They threaten you on the call and do not listen to you. I went to Nodal officer as well who is talking from Sai Star and Hathway side and no different from them.

Hope less people. I get the clear message to go to other service providers for Cable as well for Internet. This is the cost I pay for being their customer for 10 years and paying everything ontime.

They have stop certain channels not informing me, insist they said you have not submitted the form., but I already done it 2 days before. Hathway Customer care guys tell they have not received any form, but I said I have submitted to our local cable operator. They have give me a silly n foolish answer co-ordinate with your local cable operator.
I just want to ask then if we want to co-ordinate with local guy, what they are for.

Myself Shivaranjan Madiwaalr From Belgaum, Karnataka State. I Am using Hathway cable service from last 5 months.The service was good and service providers giving good service. Reason for this complaint is that from beginning only the service providers not telecasting kannada channels. Reason i dont no. If i Asked to them they were telling that today it will come or tomorrow it will come.Every time they were telling this lies.
In Karnataka Kannada is the Administrative language that channels only not coming in this HATHWAY cable network.And from last month some channels were blocked by the service providers.mainly Sun Network Channels.Please take strict reaction on them and provide us all kannada channels shortly. It is the worst service provider ever. I had to run after the local cable guys first to take payment from me and then had to run after them to activate channels. I was a to then assume that if I paid 3 months in advance and tell them to be prompt going forward, I will delay the bother for 3 months but now after a month, again all the channels are blocked and I have calling them for the past 4 days with no effect whatsoever. They have now stopped picking my call. Its like just take away your box, I do not even care for my money.

NEVER USE HATHWAY FOR CABLE TV!
I too am facing problems with hatchway cable... We have opted for popular plan in Pune, Kothrud and they have blocked some of the channels which fall under this plan. After calling multiple people, each one has a standard answer ' you call so and so person because I am on half day or I am on leave or I am not in office now.' When called on main line, there is another standard answer (only i[censored] are lucky to get through the line).. ' we will send a technician to ur house but nothing happens ; most of the times the line is switched off. Customer service is really really pathetic. They should close down their business completely since they cannot manage.

Why the govt encourage such types of things ididn't understand...in many judgement Supreme court said that don't link AAADHAR for all...

hello i am pradip dhami i am staying at grant road my 2 hathway box. does not show any sony channels e.g. sab tv, sony etc. since last 15 days we have complaint on your hathway cable office at tardev by telephone last monday. 17 august 2015.
they told all sony channels will be starting within 2 days. after 5 days yet any sony channel has not been started.we paid our cable operater full year subscription and they dont give any proper answers.
so i request you to start all sony channel as soon as possible.

    Hathway cable makes their own decisions on which channel to through to the customers and dont entertain customer requests to add popular channels. If you do request, you will be told 'This is all you will get. If you want keep it, else you can disconnect it'.

      I took a hathway connection last year from hathway connection worked for two three days and they had some cable issue regearding some permission cnnection never got connected nobody ever bothered to call em to let me know status I asked to disconnect no money refund phone call money lost wasted teim by personally visiting tehy are CHEATS. I am mentioning Baroda hathway so many emaisl alsow waist. i am working person if I keep on visiting their I will lose more money then refund what should I do?

      From day 1 of relation with hathway i have been cheated, first time of the 3 months plan false commitment by the sales person and later on the usgae and billing.

      The latest is after i renewed it in first week of August, i have been moved froma static to dynamic ip and it is not supporting the LED and Ipad i'm using, some times it works of Led and mobile after complaining twice to the customer care and willing to pay the engineers visit charges if any, noone is bothered to restore the connection, people call me on phone on odd office hours and expected me to be at home and do the trouble shooting, after 2 attempts when i tell them it is not working they say it is resolved from their end, one monthe has gone with the payment i made and no satisfactory usage

        I had a postpaid internet connection with hathaway and had been facing horrible problems .The bills never came to my residence.So every 2 or 3 months my connection used to get disconnected for non payment even without me receiving a bill / intimation about the disconnection.this kept happening for more than 8 months even after repeatedly complaining to customer care.Apart from that, Connections used to be down frequently down and if you speak to the customer care about it, the reply would be that it is down for the entire locality and not for me alone (they expect us to get consoled with that reply).

        -ve about Hathaway

        pathetic customer care
        poor internet connection
        connection would be down without reasons
        not worth the money paid although slightly cheaper than airtel or other private providers.


        I have changed my connection to Airtel broadband and until now i have had good experience with them although i pay slightly higher.

        Hathway - Bangalore — Broadband connectivity problems!

        They have done it again!

        Since last 3 months I have been receiving extra charges for usage exceed. When I first received such charge, I went to their office in HSR Layout and confirmed with their own employee that their system was messed up during a so called "upgrade". Then he checked the CMTS logs and agreed that the usage data was indeed wrong and generated a new statement. I cleared the amount then and there itself and requested him to send me the "Revised" bill as I suspected the new statement won't be synchronized and I might receive false statement next month.

        Fortunately he agreed and sent me the statement! Since then I have been receiving false statements without considering revised statement and every time they agree to credit the amount next bill but fail to do so!

        I am also starting formalities to go to CC today.
        Hi i took hathway connection two days back, they toald me that they give connection with in 1 hr.There agent took money and they provided cable. From two days i am calling to there customer service people they are are telling at any cost by 5 pm aur 6 pm. And the person who took money is not ready to attend the phone also.I told them tha please give connection on sat -sun because we have office on monday. they are telling some different story when i shouted on them then they are telling that we can provide on week days.Its not there duty to inform that they will not provide on sun. this is really ridiculous they are cheaters.

        Hi every body,

        Never go for hathway internet connection, poor customer service.
        Their technical people dont have any knowledge to fix a problem when the problem arises.

        I have got a network connection from hath way for about 15days back of 128 kbps unlimited plan.
        The network was very slow, i was getting lessthan 20kbps speed. after 5 days suddenly there was some problem in the signal so i was not getting any signal for the network, i have given a compliant and so called technical people are still working. still it is not resolved, every day i call the Customer case thy say it will be fixed by today. I have called at least some 30 times in this days to get this resolved, still not working.

        So what i want to say is:
        hathway is cheaper.. but if we calculate the no of days the network works and the amount of money we spend on the calling customer care, it will be double costlier than that of the tata indicom/ airtel's cost.

        This is what i have learned about Hathway.

        So please avoid Hathway, otherwise you will experience the same..

I called their customer care many time, but they did not give me any reply yet ( WE WILL CALL YOU BACK ). Some CSR executive attitude also very poor, I don't know what should I do know.             this is to inform u that i had using the hathway internet connection but i am very unsatisfied with these people as on every second i had lost my connection and than after making the several complaints they came and repair the connection temporarily due to which i had lost my connection on every second day and also after giving them so many calls they didn't give any response and every time i had to send a mail so they had very bad customer service.

            pathetic service, completely useless staff. no escalation matrix is shared, call are closed immediately after complaint without resolution.
            I havent seen any network worst than Hathway Broadband services. Per month, I have raised about 10 to 15 complaints about network issues. They provide an estimate time of 24 to 48 hours for resolution. So, half of month I have suffered with complaints and resolution time. To even raise complaint, I have to hold my call for atleast 5 to 8 mins to speak to customer care which is again burden to consumer.
            I have requested for 3 months of broadband services on 21st Jan 2015. I was told services would be activated in 24 hours. But, I got connection installed on 29th Jan 2015. Now, I am getting billed from 26th Jan 2015. I dont understand why they are starting from 26th Jan 2015 when got connection from 29th Jan 2015. Raised this concern with Hathway customer service too but no use except waste of my mobile charge and money.
            I am costumer since 4 years.My acc no is 770233 from aurangabad. I had a problem regarding to the connectivity.I am getting poor connectivity from 2 weeks, i share my problem to your costmer care but i didnot get solution.

              My user Code is 360426 & I am using 1024 Kbps Expressway Plan (1Mbps). It is 4 Months Prepaid Plan and Download limit is upto 4 GB. In this Plan the download speed must be 1024/8=128, but my download speed is below 6 Kbps. I call in Customer Care for this problem, but I think there is No Customer Care, No Help Desk to solve your problem.
              Everytime their helpdesk executive said that sir here is ok, our server shows your speed is good. This time their helpdesk executive said that, there is must be problem in your PC sir. They don't want to check their connection setup because I think they don't know how to solve this problem.
              No aggresive response given by Help Desk Executive yet.
              No Customer Care...No Helpdesk...No Service

                We had taken a 256 Kbps broadband connection from Hathway in May 2008. In October 2008, the service prodider suddenly terminated the connection. Hathway had charged Rs. 1000 as installation fees. When we contacted Hathway, they replied that nothing could be done now and the money was as good as lost.
                I am still in a state of shock about the apathy and unprofessional conduct demonstrated by the company.

                Please don't subsribe to Hathway for any internet connection

                  I bought the services of internet connection from Hathway Internet Services in August.

                  There is problem with the network right from day one.
                  Not a single day I was able to use the net facility without disturbances.
                  When contacted the help desk, the executives replied very rudely as if they are doing some kind of favour on me.
                  The customer help line makes you check your patience.
                  I'm really fed up with their services.
                  Whenever its urgent to send an email you'll find the network down.
                  I want to discontinue the services and get my money back.
                  The people at Hathway dont deserve to run this business.

                  I am a user of hathway residing in west Delhi.

                  You won't believe that half of my monthly phone bill is attributed to Hathway customer care rather than to my girlfriend.:sad:

                  I too doesn't remember a single day like Rahul that I was able to use the net facility without disturbances.

                  The customer care only greets in English. If you later explain them your problem in English, they won't understand it.

                  But they continue to charge me at 560/- per month.

                  I really won't advice going for Hathway if you live particularly in west or outer Delhi. I share a very very bad experience with them. Go for it if you don't have other option in your area.

                    I am using Hathway Internet and my User Code is 360426. I take 128 Easyway Unlimited Plan from Hathway Internet in September. The download speed is very bad in this plan, if you take 128 Kbps Plan then download speed must be 128/8=16 Kbps, but my download speed is between 2-6 Kbps.This is very bad speed in 128 Kbps plan. I complaint many times in customer care but they don't give me satisfactory Answer. They said that our helpdesk Executive call you right now, but there is no call from helpdesk. After 15-20 Days I changed my plan, because I think that if I will changed my plan then speed will be good. But I was wrong. Now I am using 1024 Kbps Expressway Plan(1Mbps), but download speed is still 10-20 Kbps. I call many times in customer care for this problem, but I think they don't want to solve my problem. Everytime they said our helpdesk executive call you sir, but there is no call from him after long time gone. Many times they don't pickup the PHONE, this is not right. I think Hathway must take action on this, if they want to give good service to their Customers. In 1024 Kbps Expressway Plan, the download speed is 1024/8=128, But I got 10-20 Kbps download speed. If I got 10-20 Kbps speed in 1Mbps plan, sometimes the download speed is below 10 Kbps then I must say it is not good Internet Service provide by Hathway. I request to Hathway, please solve this problem because my plan is for 4 Months.

                      sir iam serving in army colaba -05and my internet account number is 355600 on date 04/9/08 . but before seven dys internet dead complaint i summited to these telephone numbers are [protected] & [protected] but my internet is not open and tell me that my lan card is defective but i have two personal computers & two lan cards . so i ultimate change the computer but nmy internet service is not startingultimately i talk them to talk about higher posistions of brosdband internet my net service is starting suddenly but they were not giving the telephone number of manager of colaba area .what i do for this type of behaviours with me?

                        On 16th Sept 08 in Bangalore, I paid Rs 450 for a Hathway broadband connection to a sales agent. It has been nearly a month from then and the connection has not been installed yet. The initial promise was to install the connection within 4 working days. Since then i must have called the customer service center at least 15 times, every time getting a false reassurance that my complaint had been registered and the field engineer would contact me at the earliest. I even went up to the hathway website and got an email id



                        Let me also tell you that before applying for this connection i did read several negative reviews about hathway, but still went ahead with my application, reposing my faith in the Hathway brand name. After having gone through this agonsing experience myself, i am sure now that each one of those negative reviews that i read (and i read many many of them) was indeed true.

                        For those of you who are looking for a new broadband connection - PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR Hathway. I chose to ignore the many reviews that i read and am repenting today - use my experience as learning and keep away!!!

                        For those of you who work for any of the Hathway, my submission is that Hathway is tarnishing the brand equity which has been established over decades. I sincerely think Hathway should discontinue providing this service at least till the time it establishes the capabilities to provide basic services to its customers on time. Today after not having got the services for which i had paid Rs 450 a month back, i feel duped by Hathway - i sincerely believe the Hathway brand deserves a better treatment than this. I really hope someone senior in the Hathway group reads this and multiple such reviews that are floating around on internet and takes some action.

                        I paid 1000 Rs. towards 4 months advance payment for getting connection. It is nearing one month. Initially I contancted one Mr. Rajesh, but now nobody is responding properly. If I call customer care their fixed answer, WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 1/2 AN HOUR TIME. Initally they agreed to give connection in 5 days.

                        Please advice:
                        1) How to get back my refund with damages.
                        2) If they are giving connection, WHEN ?

                        I am sending Leagal Notice to them in 2 to 3 days by claiming damages.

                        I need immediate response.

                        I paid 450 rupees for a net connection on 14oct to a hathway sales agent . From that day its nearing 1and half months nothing has been done. I have wasted at list 50 rupees by calling there helpline no. I request all readers not to go for hathway . this people are cheats.
                        hathway internet...worst one can have ...thirdclass...and the customer care ...even more worst i ever seen / deal with...

                        nosence guys sitting there whenever you call, , they will make [censored] comments ...like ..the issue will resolve within 1 hrs ...engineer will call you or come to you ...nothing happened...

                        speed is ...i am having 1MBps ...its slow than 128 dialup..

                        my advice dont go with this...even they give it for free...once you have it ...you will get a pain of every day...
                        Hathway - once i hear this word, 1st thing which strikes my mind is frequent network disconnection...
                        i am spending about more than 50 bucks a week to call this useless customer care which readily gives u a lame reason every time u ring them...
                        utter waste of having this broadband connection...

                        I completely agree...I even faced the same bad experience with Hathway...Connection never works properly. i disconnected it after long struggle with customer care in 2 months. After that also the due amount which needs to be paid to me never sent to me...I have submitted the modem and wiring in their office, but still they are sending the monthly bills...just to take away the extra amount they have to pay me...PLEASE NEVER EVER THING OF TAKING THIS CONNECTION...its better to be without connection rather than having one and seeing in not working, on the top of it paying monthly rent
                        I am finding the same issues, it doesn't work properly, even lots of channelw are not coming. when i called hathway bangalore office, they did n't even asked my problem and directly gave me a number to call thippasandra office and that office guys told me to call the contractor to whom i have taken the connection. It does not seem to be right behavior from a company like Hathaway.They don't even bother about why a consumer called them, it just a irresponsible behavior of a irresponsible company.

                        Reduced speed internet connection within 2 day of recharge

                        Hi sir/madam, I got new connection before 2days and plan is 50mbps but it reduced to 512kbps. i want the information regarding this issues.

                          Respected Sir, I {Hitesh Raythatha} am a proprietor of M/s MARTAND TRADING COMPANY, HYDERABAD. I 'm a customer of Hathway Broadband Internet vide customer reference number is 266625 I paid sum of Rs3708/ by cheque number 940255 on 20.05.2008 of Punjab National Bank to the company for providing service of Internet for one year. I have shifted my premises on 23rd September and request service provider to give connection at my new premises. I was inform to mail new address and they will be give connection at new place within 2 to 3 days. As advice by them undersigned had mail them new address on 24th September 2008, 29th September 2008. On 30th September morning company sent their two representative for varification, who had confirm to give connection by evening but nothing was done. meanwhile I used to call their call center number[protected] almost three to four time in a day, call center people were allways so busy that we have to wait for 10 to 30 minutes for some one to attand our calls and every time we have to explain our problem with new person available in seat and during morning hour they promise to send their technical person for connection before evening and during evening hour they promise us for next day morning. At last we sent them mail on 3/10/2008 to take issue with consumer forum and on 4/10/2008 company send one of their technical person to give connection but he came with insufficient cable and kept same at our premises without giving connection and went with promise to come and complete work by 5/10/2008 but no one turn to fullfill the commitment. We are bagging with the company over phone till date and till now upto 9pm of today i.e. 8/10/2008 but nothing has been done accept false promises from all the consumer care official. Now, I fad-up and also got mentally harrase for behaviour of the company's customer care official. Hence, I request you to get back my payment and also let me know how much I can get claim against the company for mentally torture for me even after making payment and wasting allmost daily two to three hour behind them to get connected. I need your co-operation to teach a lesson to the company for benefit of customer, who has been harres for providing service even after paid for it.

                            Hi,

                            I want to log a complaint. We have recently bought a set top box from cable operator but they were not able to fix it in the right way after 2 days we are now getting only digital cable but not analog cable. The operator was behaving in a rough and rude manner and we gave him 800 rupees and he told that we should change the wire also but it seems good. Now it is one week if we call them there will be no response (mobile or landline). In our apartments all are giving complaints but nobody is unable to take action. So now we are planning to cancel and take Tata sky.

                            Please do the needful at the earliest.

                                Dear sir,

                                I am using 1 mbps (= 1024 kbps) plan but i am getting the speed between 152 and 630 kbps maximum. I have called and mailed from last 2 months they are not even response my complaints. If i give over pressure they come and check and then they will say, will send engineers. Thats it. I have bought a package of 4 mths so i am able to disconnect also. I am suffering too much and some times its a frequent disconnection for every 5 min for that i have lost so much money in my online trading. Cheating customers like any thing. If any one sees please take proper action to this company or don't allow for internet service.

                                yes hathway doesnt provide proper service as they promise. you are true in the sayings about hathway
                                I am also a subscriber to Hathway Broadband internet services. The service is not full 24 hours. The connectivity is whimsical. When you telephone the answer by the operators are evasive.
                                So I fully agree with the above comments.

                                  I am holding an internet account (account no 265494 ) under tariff plan P512IP 512 Intro-pack plan and already renew and paid amount of Rs.1800 by axis bank cheque (Ch.no-007114) in JUNE.

                                  But internet connection is not working from 1st week of June as society won’t allow for cabling
                                  and requested company many times to take any necessary action and plesae refund my amount, by mailing them and even by personaly going to their mumbai Kamala Mill office but till date they hadn't take any action.

                                  Hathway — not refund amount of connection

                                  the hathway agent took connection amount and called me that connection will be proceed in next two days but after 10 days they not picking up my cal even i am also visited the company office, they said that your building does not have connectivity of broadband so they will refund your amount.

                                  But it is been one month they are not answering my phone.

                                    I booked a prepaid internet connection on 6th April, 2008 and gave a PDC. I was assured that my connection will start in a day or two after which my cheque would be submitted. However, today is 23rd May, till date I haven't got the connection, they have encashed my cheque of 618/-. I must have called each and every number by now but the result is zero. Guys don't take HATHWAY. They are cheaters, rather go for MTNL. I was simple taken by the offer of 2GB for 618 Rupees instead of 1199 that I pay for MTNL.

                                    As they say "SASTA ROYE BAAR BAAR". Ultimately I have spent 1200 on Hathway but not got a single KB as compared to 1199 for 2GB by MTNL.

                                    I filed a complaint at core, not for any resolution, just to increase one more count of "HATHWAY SUCKS". It is really irritating, forget the money but the time that I have spent calling them everyday. I take this opportunity to thank Mr.Giriraj Singh who wrote an email to hathway. However, I guess that hathway email id does not exist and I don't even expect anything, just want to make sure that others who are searching for "hathway" or "hathway sucks" before buying a connection can find this. Wish I had done it :(

                                    To be fair with Hathway, here is an update.

                                    Finally somebody came to my house for modem testing today from Hathway. He checked and found it is fine and said somebody will come and fix a new modem within half an hour. Hope this half an hour is not the same as two days which was equal to almost two months.

                                    it is working only 2 hour in a day & either it shows "Request Time out"

                                    Respected Mr Rajan Rajanji,

                                    After being exasperated, having continuously complained to your staff at Hathway Broadband Internet, to no avail, I had sent you a letter on September 19, 2008, about two months ago.

                                    Sir, this is just to inform you that though the frequent line disconnections of my internet connection have stopped, the problem of very slow browsing speed still persists.

                                    Once again, sadly I have to write to you to please kindly ask your staff to provide good quality service sir.

                                    I hope you will help this aggrieved customer.

                                    Hathway Internet is just not bothered to improve its services. just like a typical laidback aalsi government employee. actually worse that him. at least he takes bribes and gets on with the job. hathway guys dont even pick up the phones fr complaints.

                                    Probably, the worst internet service in India.

                                      BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF THIEVES OF HATHWAY...

                                      I had taken the quarterly prepaid plan with 500 mb speed, there was a sudden disconnection and inspite of so many complaints nothing was done, i did waste lots of money in calling...at last i mailed them to disconnect officially and refund the prepaid amount, but i did not recieved any reply from their end, and after expiry of the subscription period they started calling for renewal of services and asked to pay the amount, but why should i if i had no connection? Than i subscribed for another net connection, excellent services...that is My Max from Taj Telecom...BUT ON 16.05.08, A PERSON FROM HATHWAY VISIT TO OUR BUILDING NAME BILAL AS ENGINEER FROM HATHWAY...TAKES OUT THEIR CABLE CONNECTION ALONG WITH THE EXISTING MY MAX CONNECTION, WITHOUT KNOKING THE DOOR...I WANT TO KNOW WHO GIVES THEM THE AUTHORITY TO TOUCH THE CABLE OF ANOTHER COMPANY...THEY ARE THIEF...

                                      I WAS USING HATHWAY INTERNET WHEN I WAS IN DOMBIVLI .BUT WE HAVE SHIFTED IN THANE A FEW MONTHS BACK . WE ARE PLANNING TO USE HATHWAY BROADBAND IN NEAR FUTURE .                                         What the complaint is about?

                                        1. Non functional internet connection since 1 ½ month.

                                        2. Non redressal of complaint by the Company’s Customer
                                        Care after repeated complaint.

                                        3. Deficiency in services rendered by your company.

                                        4. Defective connection since the day of installation.

                                        5. No after-sale service.




                                        Nature of Complaint;

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I, the undersigned, would like to bring to your notice the malicious, negligent and wrongful act done by your employees.

                                        It has been 1½ month now that I have been repeatedly complaining about the faulty and non functional internet connection to your Customer Care Department since the day of installation.

                                        My recent complaints No. are – 1730509 – 8th August 2008
                                        & - 1746249 – 12th August 2008

                                        Since 12th of August 2008, repeated complaint has been given with the above complaint No. 1746249.

                                        The Customer Care department has not done any thing till today. Every time I call up they have the same reply that a Service Eng. will come to your place and repair the defect. The Service Eng’s. visited my place but were not able to start my connection.

                                        In spite of my repeated approaches, in person & writing the Zonal Office at Kandivali (East) and Main Branch (Lower Parel)
                                        Have not made my connection functional till today.

                                        The fact is that the charges for the monthly connection are taken in advance, neither the Zonal Office nor the Main Branch have rectified the fault and made my connection functional.

                                        When I, enquired with the, ‘Service Eng.’ at your Zonal Office, Kandivali (East), Gokul Nagri 2, he was not at all interested to talk to me and not ready to take my written complaint.

                                        I wonder that the Customer care people don’t even know about their M.D [ Hathway Cable & Datacom Pvt Ltd.] because on asking for your (M.D) contact details & Email ID, they inform that they are not aware about it.

                                        It’s like a ‘Tata employee’ saying that he is not aware that
                                        Mr. Ratan Tata is the M.D of Tata Group.

                                        Not only this, they are not even ready to give the details of the person accountable for the non redressal of my complaint.

                                        Prayers;

                                        I hope that you are enlightened about these facts. I request you to make your staff Customer Friendly and train them for accountability & efficiency at work.

                                        I also demand that the company should waive off the charges in the bill for the time my internet connection was non functional.

                                        The company should reimburse the coast incurred by me in pursing this complaint till to-date. The amount works out to be Rs. 500/-

                                        I hope the company will compensate for the Inconvenience & the Mental Strain caused by the non functional internet connection during the course of my complaint.

                                        Hathway Broadband Internet Service — Not getting connectivity since last few Days

                                        I have taken Hathway Broadband Internet Connection Prepaid (Express plan) on 10th July'08.

                                        I have already paid an amount Rs.1124/-for four Months in advance as per plan but since 9th Aug'08 i am unable to get the connectivity. I fed up by calling Hathway customer care every day twice/thrice but no proper feedback. I received Complaint No. as 1733283 on 9th Aug'08..Last Feedback I received was "Our Engineer will do the needful very shortly" on 12th Aug'08.

                                        Plz. help to get rid of the Problem
