[Resolved] Country Club India Limited — Revoke / Cancel Agreement | |||
I have recently bought the CCIL membership (CVA82/2 # 0044) paying 1, 50,000.00 INR. (1, 00, 000 INR receipt# 0813-CVBG-16838 - ICICI Bank Credit Card – Guruprasad G.) (50,000 receipt# 0813-CVBG-16837 – Citibank Credit Card – Ragini Tiwari (my wife) I have also received the signed contract which outlines the membership offers. We want to cancel our membership because of the following reasons:- 1. The contract doesn’t state the offers made by sales people, in fact the agreement contradict the offers. When I sent an email to Customer Care – CCIL, asking them to confirm the offers – I have received no response. I haven’t received any of the membership benefits or kit from CV/CCIL till date. The offers that were made by the sales people are listed below:- 1.1 Customers can avail stay for 14D 13N in a year with no restrictions on seasons and for up to 8-10 members (6 adults, 2 children) – 1 week will be for immediate booking & second week if Customers book 45 days in advance. 1.2 Pick-up, drop & sightseeing (bus) will be part of the package & client will not have to pay for anything. 1.3 40% discount on domestic & international flights. Discount on overall fare & not just the base fare. Customers can book the tickets for personal use also. 1.4 20% discount on food across all CCIL locations 1.5 The maintenance fee of INR 7500 will be charged on the basis of the days o[censored]sage on a prorate basis. i.e., If client has availed 7D 6N in a particular year, he/she have to pay INR 3250 only for that year as maintenance fee 1.6 Along with the Country Vacations Customers will get free lifetime Gold membership of CCIL which covers free usage of basic amenities in any of the CCIL locations a) Gym b) Swimming pool c) Indoor games d) Hall bookings for marriages & birthday parties 2. When I asked TO Manager to let me know the cancellation policy, he said we do not have any cancellation policy and the membership cannot be cancelled. 3. AIRDA (All India Resort Development Association – CCCIL is a member of this association) mandates that the contract should clearly state the cooling off period & cancellation policy. My contract doesn’t even talk about cooling period / cancellation. Please read http://www.airda.org/html/aboutus/code_ethics.html - AIRDA rules Upon considering the above facts I want to 1.
