At kolkata nobody looks after anything can only talk that --i am not looking after this and i do not know who can help you in this matter. Incidentaly when we were at Baroipur(PL see point no 3 below) mr. Azhar in charge of kolkata office was present at Baroipur with his family members. When we insisted upon showing him the poor maintenance and lack of promised facilities , he simply turned his back and denied any responsibility regarding this resort [protected][protected][protected][protected] Dear Sir we wish to draw your attention to the following : 1.On 17.01.2011 we attended in your office at Kolkata on your request for a presentation. We were told that a club(CK_27) will be functional from 8.02.2011 at KASBA, Kolkata.The brochures advertises that this club will soon have "state-of-art clubbing ameniteses .........including swimming pool and indoor games" We were interested in membership of a social club which we can often visit for entertainment and as such given consent for membership. Till now no such club is operational. 2. When we had given consent for club membership, my credit card was handed over to your relationship officer for payment of membership fees which is rs. 36000 /- . To our surprise he debited an amount of Rs 101,000/- towards membership of vacation club (for which we were not interested.) While questioned your people why this step is taken, they start talking tall talks of the vacations clubs, painted rosy pictures of the Resorts etc and handed me a receipt for payment of rs. 101000?- instead of reverting back 3. Since then we were cosntantly enquiring about opening of the said club and requesting to revert back my membership. Instead your people tried to console us telling that a club exists at Baruipur with full facilities of swiming, etc. We had taken reservations for 18th & 19th March 2011 at Baruipur Resort. we were allotted a studio and we had to pay Rs 700/- per day towards utility charges. Sorry to say that there is no utility worth mentioning for which one should pay. There is no swiming pool, no TV, no AC, a junk Geyser not in working condition, toilets chocked, the rooms are extremely shabby, walls not cleaned or pained for years. Kikndly explain what for is the service charge, or else refund me the molney paid. Other occupants shared the same view. you will certainly understand that these are breach of trust on your part as your people had given false presentation and verbal assurances Incidentaly we have read in the website hundreds of such complaint of cheating and trapping people to sqeeze out money. We may caution you that media people are always eagerly waiting to probe and publisize any breaking news of such big organisations Under the circumstances, we request you again to revert the membership,forCK_27 club at Kasba only and adjust the payment accordingly and advise the bank with immediate effect subject to opening of the said club on or before 8th April 2011 Your immediate action in this regard is solicited. regards samiran kanti das & anju dsa Was this information helpful? | |
