I have received the e-statement for my bill which is due on 16th April 2010 on 28th March 2010 and come to know that there have been charges of Rs. 995.00 on account of CPP Membership. According to my understanding and the offer that was stated to me by the Customer Care/ Representative, the offer has to be firstly availed for getting the hardcopies of the scheme. As I wanted to go for the scheme but only after looking at the hardcopies of the scheme, he suggested to avail the offer and cancel if don’t require within the 30 days of availing. As the charges were debited on 5th of March 2010(reflected in statement), I called up to Customer care for getting the CPP membership cancelled as the same is not suitable. They refused to get it done as according to them freelook period already expired (i.e. on 26th March 2010). According to them 50% charges will only be refunded, whereas your representative had earlier told me that upto 6 months of membership only proportionate charges will be levied and remaining will be refunded.
I have also reported for cancellation on the very same day I got the e-statement but they say it is already 2 days past.
Post my written complain on 30th March 2010, some representatives from SCB, Gurgaon have called up. As per the request of therepresentative on 1st, 2nd and 3rd April 2010, the amount of CPP was to be fully reversed and also I will get the documents of the scheme to look upon if want to go for it. But as confirmed on 8th April by the representative on 39404444 the amount has only been reversed to the tune of 50% and the CPP has also been cancelled.
Today on 20th April, somebody called from SCB that this is what we can do you again go and complain to cardservices, which i have already done 2-3 times. Please resolve the matter, require your help. Was this information helpful? |
