[Resolved]  Credit Card — LIC payment without intimation

Dear sir,

ICICI credit card cheating services,

See the below exchange of mails with ICICI credit card division. At the time of online registration for
utility payment of LIC premiums, they refused to accept, replied a mail of not accepting the new registration. Hence, I paid my premium before the due date. But surprised to notice, Icici also remitted the same premium without my knowledge. When they did not accept my request, why do they pay my premium & debit my card account. When I requested for the reverse the debit, they replied that it is not possible, instead I have to approach LIC for reversal. How ridiculous !

Their reply is just like cheating & irresponsible.

Please render a justice to this.

See the below reply of your officer on 12/11/08. When you do not accept the registration of my LIC policies, why did you pay the amount?

As a proof, where(which office of the LIC) I sould show the credit card bill to get the refund. Why should I go..?? IT is your fault..??

I am going to the consumer forum to render justice on my part. Your bank will face the legal proceedings in this regard. As per your reply on 12/11, you should not have paid my policy without prior notice to me. It is your duty to refund the amount imm...

I know how to deal the case. Till the refund is not done, I will not pay you any EMI. MY lawyer will speak to this.

Why should I contact the merchant ???

You have debited my card account for LIC premium which I have already paid. You reverse the debited amount & confirm back...

Your reply is not satisfactory. Your unbilled statement clearly shows the debit... what else you require as proof. I just want you to reverse it.

revert imm... Matter is most urgent. Tomorrow 18th is the statment date .

It is totally your mistake. Without prior confirmation to me why did you
make the payment ?????.

At the time online registration itself, you people clearly told me that you are unable to take this request. Then why this
lapses...

I u/stand from your billing that you have made payment of my LIC premium without informing me in advance. Why you do so?

At the time of online registration of my premiums you people from customer care office spoke to me that you have stopped new registration of LIC utility payment.

Hence I have already done that payment thru HDFC last week.

It is a surprise you have also paid for the same. This is a double payment. right now please stop the payment & credit the amount to my card account.

From next premium, falls during april'09 you can make payment of LIC. Confirm imm...
