[Resolved]  Dda Slum Wing Residential Flat Registration — Scheme for slum dwellers and other - 1985

Respected Sir,

My father, Sh Babulal booked a flat in 1985 and submitted a sum of Rs 3000/-
under the scheme "Residential Flats Registration Scheme for Slum Dwellers and Other - 1985.

For this he deposited 3000 INR on the dated 14/01/1986 to Central Bank of India, Chawri Bazar for the credit of
SLUM WING DDA (A/C of DIRECTOR (SLUM) DDA QUADRUPLICATE

It has been almost 25 years since my father applied under this scheme.
But till the date we haev not received any response from MCD or JJ Slum Department.

Delhi government told to expedite flat allotment to 20, 000 slum dwellers

NEW DELHI: The 27-year-long wait of slum dwellers to own a house in the capital may soon end with the Delhi High Court asking the city government and its agencies to devise a time-bound plan to allot flats to 20, 000 beneficiaries of a scheme launched way back in 1985.

"The Chief Secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi shall convene a meeting to be attended by the Principal Secretary, Department o[censored]rban Development as also the Secretary, Land and Building Department of the Govt of NCT and the CEO, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), the implementing agency, to discuss the manner and the timeline in which the wait-listed registrants can be allotted residential flats.

The said meeting shall be convened within a period of two weeks, " Justice Him Kohl said, hoping that the slum dwellers will get homes in their "life time".

Issuing a slew of directions, the court lamented the "lack of communication" among government agencies as it led to delay in allotment of flats.

"It appears ... there is some lack of communication and co-ordination among the three government agencies, which has not been ironed out despite pendency of the present petitions. As a result, though the petitioners are wait-listed registrants for the past innumerable years, they have been kept waiting for allotment of flats under the scheme floated by DDA in 1985, " it said.

The order came on a batch of petitions filed by five persons, who had registered with the Residential Flats Registration Scheme for Slum Dwellers and Others 1985, seeking directions to agencies to allot them flats.

The petitions said that the flat aspirants were residing in slums here since 1985.

I, Naresh had applied under this scheme for DDA Slum Dwellers & Wing started in 1985 year. Application form No. is : 63045 and Priority No. assigned was 13284/G and deposited Rs. 3000. Since then no communication or status has been given and I am still in dark as to what happened to this scheme. If anybody has any information related to this, pls. share the same. HELLO FREINDS...MY FATHER VISIT IN DDA SLUM DEPARTMENT AND BABU SAID THAT U CAN TAKE THE MONEY WITH THE INTEREST OF 8% MEANS TOTAL 8000(APPROX) OR YOU CAN WAIT WE HABE BUY A LAND NEAR NARELA WHERE THERE IS CHANCES OF GETTING THE FLAT. BUT LATEST NEWS WHICH I HEARD FROM THE NEWSPAPER THAT DDA (WHICH IS OTHER DEPARTMENT) LAUNCHING A SCHEME FOR ALL AGAIN. MEANS DDA SLUM MAKING US FOOL. BECAUSE LAW SAID FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISHED THAT SCHEME WHICH IS ALREADY PENDING, BEFORE THAT NO NEW SCHEME IS TO BE LAUNCHED. BUR SLUMM DDA IS NOT DOING ANY THING FOR US. AND IF THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING THEN WHY SUCH DEPARTMENT IS STILL EXIST.
