With reference this letter we like to draw your kind attention of bad condition of sewer line in this area, we are citizen in your locality since 20 years but we have to face many problems due to bad condition of sewer line. its always full fill with dirty water & gathered here & there .its always chocked and damaged . Many of times we wrote the complaint in delhi jal board & our area M L A but there is no response against this problem. We believe in civism therefore we request to you please re- construct sewer line in this area . as soon as possible.

This is to inform you that the sewer lines outside P-82 NDSE -2 are blocked. The toilets inside the house are chocked . Inspite of repeated calls there has been no response
complaint No 3-----Sent on 1/4/2011 again a complaint last week complaint no 76.
The resident of the above house is a senior citizen who is being harassed because of the unhygienic conditions within the house .

Kindly ensure that something is done at the earliest and let us know the person responsible for our area (Name and Contact No.) This complaint is being registered by the daughter of the above said resident. waiting for prompt action

I am a resident of D-190, Vivek Vihar, Delhi -110092 and would like to
draw your kind attention to the Badly Chocked Sewer line in our Area. The condition of the chocked sewer line was brought to the knowledge so many time of the Junior Engineer Shri RAJESH KUMAR his mobile No. [protected]
several time but all in vain, so far no action has been taken. Everytime,
whenever I visited to their office for lodging a complaint a very casual/simple answer that a our man will arrive to solve the problem, but man not come and get relife from the chocked sewer line, which in now overflowing, spreading foul smel,
breading insects .

I hereby request, kindly to look into the matter and direct to the concerned
Department to take immediate action to resolve the problem without any further delay.

Delhi Jal Board — Sewer choked- back flow of sewage

We have factory in Okhla Phase-II and our factory number is E-41/5. The sewer line is choked and there is back flow of sewer water in our building and huge back water accumulation. It is smelling bad and subject to mosquito breeding. we fear that it could lead to Dengue mosquito breeding also.

Please take corrective steps imly.

I am a resident of Humayun Pur Village, Safdarjang Enclave, New delhi -110029, & i would like to draw your kind attention towards the CHOCKED SEWER LINES in my locality. The sewer lines are always chocked and the dirty water is over flowing on the roads. The residents are facing a lot of problems to cross the roads. The filthy water is collected on the roads and bad smell is spreading all over the area which is not good for health.
Therefore i request you to rectify the problems as early as possible.

This is to inform you theat our sewer line has been blocked due to which we are facing severe problems. This was informed to our concerned CPWD office which in turn informed theat thee sewage line in our area is blocked due to thee blockage in DJB line to which our quarter's sewage line is connected and theat theey have already written to your department for taking immediate action towards cleaning DJB lines, but to no avail.

Would you kindly look into thee matter and get thee remedial action taken withe any delay so theat thee healthe hazard fumes and soiled water may be stopped entering in our quarters?

The dusty and bad smelled water has started entering the house and is causing great health hazards, but the concerned authorities are not initiating any remedial action. In case any epidemic of Dengue, Malaria or other dangerous disease is caused to the residents, who will be responsible for such care less attitude and irresponsibility ?

It is therefore, prayed to the Jal Board Authorities that immediate action in the matter be taken before any mis-happening occurs.

I would like to bring to your kind notice that in our residential
area, the road infront of our residence i.e. 272 Tagore Park, near
Model Town, Delhi has been flooded with continuous flow of sewage
water for the last one and half months probably due to the blockage of
underground sewage pipes due to which it becomes difficult for the
people to walk on the road and it is also quite unhygienic as the foul
smell of water makes the local residents and passers by inconvenient
and difficult to breathe. There is a slum cluster adjacent to our
residence and which also appears to be the source of blockage and
leakage of sewage water from underground.
I would like to draw your attention that this has been incessant and
persistent problem on and off for last 2-3 years and has created a
great nuisance value for public.. No MCDDJB official of our area has
taken this problem seriously and try to find a permanent solution.Many
of the local residents have fallen sick and has been hospitalised due
to such a bad sanitary condition.
You may please forward the complaint to appropriate department to take
urgent necessary action in this regard to avoid inconvenience to local
residents and the passers by - pedestrians and vehicles.

1. I am a resident of A-1/69, Janakpuri and have been facing an acute problem of a blocked sewer line which is causing a back flow of sewer water into my residence and am thereby addressing the issue to you. This drastic situation has occurred only after the coming up of the Shree Makan Restaurant and the Cloud’s Banquet Hall in the plots behind my residence. As the sewer line which had been laid for the Residential Complex is not designed to undertake the heavy load of effluents (ghee,plastic & cleaning dusters) being discharged by these Commercial Complexes, it regularly gets blocked causing acute problems for the residents. Despite repeated attempts at getting the sewer line cleaned on a local level, complaints to the Delhi Jal Board (latest complaint no. 4948, 07 Feb 12) and requests to these Commercial Complexes Management there is no permanent solution in sight. The Sewage Water backflow into a residence can become a matter of grave health concern for the residents and can lead to spread of dengue. As the collection of sewage water in a Restaurant and Banquet hall can also lead to the cause of infections to the people working there and visiting these places.

2. It is also re-iterated that before opening of these joints the management needs to incorporate a proper Effluent Treatment Plant which is surprisingly missing at both these joints. Keeping these aspects related to municipal and public welfare including Health and Hygiene in mind it is requested that this problem be resolved along with the cleaning of the sewer line.
