Front of3 ua, Jawahar Nagar.Sewer jam from 25 days
I want to complaint about the quality of water supplied and charged and even they are planning to increase the amt. from 2010.the water is a sewer water coming for the l;ast 7-8 days.which is unusable and even causing foul smell in our tanks also./ I am resident of Derawala nagar near model town.kindly do the needful .thanks.

I am very frustrated to say that quality of water supplied by DJB is very foul smell same as sewer water for the last .For ch days or so .For which they are planning to increas the prices of water charges.I am surprised to see that why we are paying for this water.Kindly help me to even get penality to DJB for this kind of water to be supplied.DJB must be privatised like DESU and there will be definitely a difference.

I the resident of WZ-256 DII 3rd Floor Inderpuri submit the following few lines for your kind notice and early action please.
As per the Delhi Jal Board Act, direct connection from the main line is not allowed and whenever such connections are found, they should be disconnected without fail. Despite the above clear guidelines, 90% of the residents are taking unauthorized connections from the main line in my street(WZ 256 D2 area). I am living at the tail end of the street and I am the worst affected person. Hence, I get much less water compared to the residents living in the front row and next to my house.
In view of the above said problem, I’d applied for a separate water connection in Jun 09 which was sanctioned by the Delhi Jal Board in Jul 09. The present water connection is combined for 3 floors in my flat. After getting the sanction letter, I requested Mr. Taneja, the owner of the Ground Floor portion for installation of the motor but he refused saying he would not allow any motor to install in front of his house.
Mrs.Saroj Jain resident, of my same flat(Ist floor) also applied for a new connection which was sanctioned but she has taken a connection from the main line without any permission from the DJB on 18 Dec 09.The same has been brought to the notice of Mr.Madaan, JE regarding the illegal connection on 18 Dec 09. He visited on 19 Dec 09 at 10 AM and I shown the illegal connection taken by Mrs.Saroj Jain. He immediately told the DJB workers to remove the connection and left the place. After 15 minutes he again came and told the DJB workers don’t disconnect the line as Mrs.Saroj Jain had taken a legal connection.
On explaining my problem to Mr. Madaan, JE and requesting him to let me take same connection as Mrs. Saroj Jain since there is no pipe line available in front of my house/street. But he turned down my request and refused to remove the connection taken by Mrs. Jain, loosely promising to solve my problem.
I am surprised and am unable to understand if Mrs.Saroj Jain pipe line is legal why the JE has not given permission to me to take connection at the place Mrs Saroj Jain has taken the connection .Further he changed his decision within 15 minutes and approved Mrs Saroj Jain line as legal connection.
In view of the above I request you to kindly look into the matter urgently and disconnect all the unauthorized and illegal connections taken by the WZ -256 area including Mrs Saroj Jain (WZ 256 D2 Ist Floor )and save us from this miserable situation. Further I request you and the authorities to streamline the entire distribution process and bring about an equity in the same.

Dear Sir/M'amIt's been almost two weeks that Asha Park,G-Block Extension, Hari Nagar,Jail Road is getting very dirty and smelly water.There are atleast 10 houses which are affected due to this problem. Due to leaking problem from the Sewar Line. It is highly unhygenic and has caused illness in so many families. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past 7 Months, which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. I like to draw your kind attention towards the ckoked sever line in street no. 9, New Usmanpur, Delhi-53, for several days, resulting all sever filth flowing on the street road, making life very difficult for residents in the area. I Would like to inform you that Jal board provide water supply to the above area in March 2009 but till the date jal board not able to provide proper water supply the area we send you many feed back sevral times but till the date no action have been taken by the concern department.
We are geting water from Dwarka sector 3 booster pump in the alternate day but since begning booster pump not releasing proper water to the area so that water not able to reach last corner of the area. and we are geting maximum 150 lt of water, which is not suficient for anybody.
You are requested to Pl release the proper water from the booster pump so that we can take water in proper way.
Pl treat the above as a problem not as a complaint

Delhi Jal Board — NO SUPPLY LINE IN YOUR AREA
I live in Munirka Village House No.160-K. There is no supply line near my house and I have taken water connection from the water supply line almost 800 feet away from my house. There is only one tubewell and almost more than 1000 connections are there to this water supply line (most of them are illegal), water pressure is so low that I dont get water and I have to run water pump almost 8 hours a day still water comes less and electricity bill is huge (last month more than Rs.8400 electricity I had to pay). Can DJB provide water supply pipeline near our houses. Can DJB check illegal connections and take action?
