i am a daily commuter and travels by dtc bus, it is very strange to see 4 to 5 buses (990 route bus) parked at sec 23 near pocket 1 Rohini New delhi stand and drivers are playing cards, and abusing the travellers by sayig that the buses will move after 30 minutes. their supervisor who has to keep eye on the movement of the bus and their breaks, says nothing but repeats the same thing "bus will move after 30 minutes.
please take strict action against these drivers and supervisors so that bus can move after every 15 minutes or time decided.

Iam a student of BA from IGNOU. on Sunday dated 20. Jan. 2013 at 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., iam going with my family in DTC Bus ROUTE No. - 405, Bus No. - DL-1P-B-5039 Green Lower Bus from BADARPUR BORDER.
one small child vomit on my mother's back. my mother's cloth was become dirty. then we tried to open the windows of the bus so the child may vomit outside but none of the window were opened. they are very tight.
we told that the driver and conductor have to look this problem before riding the bus. if any other problem occur then what happen but in reply the driver talks is as misbehavior he uses very dirty and bad language for my mom.
Now tell me that is this is right way to talk with passengers? Please take some strict action against him as soon as. Before he repeat it again.

I want to know as to whether the low floor Bus Drivers are authorized to keep the Doors of the Bus closed even while parking at any Terminal and keep the commuters wait for their entry into the bus and make them comfortable. Whether keeping the Doors opened at parking place like the old Buses is cost effective and restricted or it is the Tiger Monarchy of the Bus Driver to show his bossism and harass commuters.
The Doors are opened only when the Commuters are turned into a big crowed so as to make them fight, push and jostle each other to get entry into bus and get seat. First come first serve basis is totally defeated. The old men, women and the children specially suffer in this situation which is created by the Bus Driver.
Sir, I have come across a very insulting and humiliating moment today while boarding Bus No.C-0436 at Najaf Garh Bus Terminal for Nehru Place. Thing so happened that due to RAKSHA BANDHAN lot of ladies with children were standing before the closed doors of above said Bus which was bound to leave within few minutes. Somebody told me that pressing the outside button in the Bus the doors could be opened. So finding no DTC staff in or out side the Bus I in order to make the entry of ladies and children into the bus easy and comfortable pushed the Button. But soon after doing this I observed that the Driver who was already comforting in the Driver screamed at the top of his voice in most derogatory and insulting language as if I had committed a heinous crime. I just replied " BHAI SAHIB DARWAJA KHOL DO LOG ARAM SE BAITH JAENGE' But he did not listen and and threatened to dial 100 number and get me arrested. He was even ready to thrash me up but for the intervention of public.
The Conductor was extremely polite and cooperative. It was he who started the Bus and told the Driver not dramatize the issue of pressure release etc.
The Driver alleged that I abused him. I do not recall doing so. However due to old age of 68 years, insult and highhandedness of the Driver
it may be that some bad name might have come out of my mouth under the situation created by the Driver.
Sir, u may or may not trust but as a responsible senior citizen and the light of efforts of DTC management to do every thing for the comfortable journey of the commuters I do take some positive initiative so as to avoid criticism of DTC due to irresponsible behaviour of Drivers and Conductors and use to pass on my comments for your consideration for correction.
Sir, I hope that u would look into this and do the needful to check Tiger Monarchy of Drivers in the matter of opening and closing the Doors. The Doors of the Buses may be kept open at the terminal with display in static mode open so that the purpose of first come first serve basis in the matter of getting the seat in the bus is served and commotion is avoided.

Sir in continuation to my comments above, today the said Driver was deployed on Bus No.C-0147 (Route No.764) which left Najaf Garh Bus Terminal for Nehru Place at about 07:40 AM. He deliberately drove the Bus so slow that it took 2.30 hours to reach IIT Gate at 10:10 AM. He did not care for the request of the commuters that they were getting late to reach their office/duty place. Of course there was Traffic jam at 2-3 places. But the fact remains that 4-5 Buses of above rout crossed him in the way. The last was which crossed him at 10:10 AM at IIT Gate was C-1195. Besides two AC and non AC Buses were just behind him.The allegation of deliberate slow driving can be substantiated with the time of other Buses which left Najaf Garh after 7:40 AM.
Sir I have no personal grudge against the Driver but a concern about common man who is suffering at hands of such bad characters. Not only this they are also tarnishing the image of DTC what to talk of their contribution in improving the services and image of DTC. In my opinion such elements are not fit to be retained in public service. They are burden on society and the Department wherever they are as well.

Few suggestions for curbing the anarchic and wicked activities of many of the Bus Drivers and the Conductors:
1. Display of DO's and DONT's for the Bus Drivers and the Conductors at all DTC Bus Terminals.
2. Display of duties of Time Keepers at all the DTC Bus Terminals.
3. Display of Fare Kilometer wise at all the DTC Bus Terminals
4. Platform for the Buses should be earmarked Route wise at all the Bus Terminals and the Buses should be parked accordingly.
5. The Doors of all the Buses while parked at any Bus Terminal should remain open with display of respective route No. and time of leaving in static mode.
6. The activities/function of Drivers, Conductors, Time Keepers and other staff at Bus Terminals may be watched through periodical surprise check by the authorized DTC staff for remedial action against the defaulting staff.
7. Display at all Bus Terminals Telephone numbers and website for the complaint against errant Drivers and the Conductors.
Note: In absence of above, the common man finds himself helpless and continue to suffer despite payment of fare. At Bus Terminals the commuters keeps on running from Bus to Bus in search of desired Bus. Immediately after reaching the terminals they switch off the display and asking for the Route No. of the Bus, place for which it is bound and the time of leaving, the commuters are badly treated. They are simply told go and ask the time keepers. The time keeps reply is that he can tell only when the Bus Conductor comes to him and gives the entry report. Many of the Drivers and Conductors manage the route to their own convenience.Bus Terminal Nehru Place is a glaring example of the deficiency highlighted above.
Hope this will be taken in right perspective and the needful will be done.

I am request to the depot manager of WPD, RGD, IPD, SPD for lack of Bus service of 39 .Please improve the service of this Route 39 .I am always waiting for 30 minute in morning .

myself dilip kumar, yesterday i have catched dtc yellow bus no DL1PC6921 at Hasanpur Village stand. as soon i entered into the bus i have taken rs. 5 tikcet and the conductor has given me the 5 rs. ticket which was from anandvihar to balco apartment. usually in yellow buses 5rs ticket valid upto motherdiary stand. as soon i said to conductor that you have given wrong ticket to me. he urged me abusely and told that i m raising ticket in yellow dtc buses since too long time. after so many argument with him, he was not ready to return back the ticket, so again i have taken rs. 5 ticket from hasanpur depot but again the conductor has given ticket from hasanpur village to motherdiary stand.
this is not matter of Rs. 5, this is matter of dtc buses conductor behaviour. i also know after writing so mail, it will shown zero result, but at last i have think i will do my duty to write such type of incident happen in dtc buses, after that its your duty to see in this regard or not and punish this such type of conductor behaviour.
for your info i am attaching both ticket which was bought yesterday in dtc bus no DL1PC6921.

There were 5-6 passengers in the bus. Driver was taking very sharp turns at the turning and accelerating bus at a very high speed on the road with relatively less traffic at that time. He was driving reckless and also overtook another bus route number 604 almost at the very little space between the buses. This kind of driving is definitely dangerous for the traffic on the road, people travelling in the bus and by all means deteriorates the bus too.
This kind of driving reminds about the Blue buses the way drivers used to accelerate vehicles to pick-up more passengers and constituently caused many road accidents.
The driver was young, energetic, but could use his energy in more constructive ways. Thanks.
