[Resolved]  Dining Plus Card — Cheated by Diningplus Card Company in Chennai (India)

ABN Amro Bank CreditCard — Diners card not received

I am holding abn amro creditcard. one day i had a call from customer service ABN amro bank regarding dinners card, so i applied for that. it happens six months before. till date i didn't receive any card from abn amro bank. they charged Rs.1999/- from my card. i got the message that product return due to wrong address. so i call to customer service and asked them to resend the card and clarify that my address is not changed.i also mail to abn amro bank customer service regarding this.they replied it will reach you within one week.Every time i call to them the same answer is repeated. till date i didnt get the card. my credit card statement are regularly coming through courier to this address only.so pl dont apply for any offer from ABN AMro Credit Card. thier customer service is worst. whenever i call they said system down, call me tomorrow.So Pl Dont accept any offer from ABN amro bank Credit Card.

I too face the same problem.I went to farm house, they are not accepting the card.It is quiet embarrassing and also insulting.

I am very unhappy to say that I have taken a Dining Plus in Chennai. I was shown a book which had lots of shops name listed but in the book I got half of it is missing. When I tried to call the sales person of the compnay Mr. Srinivasan who had tourted my life to buy this card, his number says does not exist.
On the whole it is totoal fraud company.

Kindly consider this complaint as a priority level and so that my hard earned money is returned to me.

SBI Credit Card — Company cheated me

Hi, I am 56 year old person. I got a call from SBI Card that you will get health insurance of Rs.8000 and EMI will be made on your SBI Card. I made mistake by sying yes to representative. I started paying EMI on time. One representative used to come and collect the EMI and given receipt to me.

I had not used my card for any other shopping. After 2 yr one representative of sbi and ask me to pay Rs12000 approx. I said i am not receiving any credit card statement from past 1.5 yr and for what you are asking for. He said you have some financial and other charges which kept on cumulative.

He is asking me to make settlement. I dont know what i have to pay for and i had already made payment above Rs. 9000 for Insurance.

I want to sue SBI Card for misrepresentation.

My dining plus card has saved me lot of money. Every time i have dined out with my family wich is once a week i have flashed my card and got disounts all the time I recommend this card for all people who frequently dine out.

Though I have not used the card, I had a very bad experience with the sales person (one Arun). he just walked into my office and wanted me to agree to pay for the card immediately. He was not willing to answer any of my questions and his canvasing was very arrogant. He took my credit card and even after repeated request was not giving my card back. Later when I did not give in to his marketing skills, he did not even have the basic courtsey on how to deal with a possible customer, he just left without even thanking for the time I wasted with him.

These guys are real cheap and from the very look of the representatives, it is clear that they are frauds. Do not fall for them.

Mr Merwyn collected the application form and the number([protected]) given by him is not reachable.

Kindly update the status on urgent basis.

I would like to complaint about the most frustrating experience, I had last week (saturday, 30-May-2009) in yMadurai Residency Mohanam bar. I have never seen such a worst customer service ever in my life. Myself with 5 of my friends came to have drinks in your bar. one of our friends don't drink. The bar manager and the bar attendant said that the one who doesn't drink is not allowed unless he at least buys a mocktail. I have never heard such a rule in any kind of bars. When asked the manager replied that it has been clearly mentioned outside. When saw it was written as "Rights for Admission reserved". I now wonder if the manager is a illiterate or an uneducated person.
The most frustrating part was that we were given the bill without asking for it, which eventually means that "Get out of the bar". Myself and my friends usually meet in your hotel. But after this incident, we have decided never to come to your hotel. We have also told almost all our friends about this incident and every one have decided the same.
Loosing a few customers may not be a big loss for the Hotel. But this kind of worst business strategies, will surely spoil the name of the hotel unless you take necessary action on the bar manager.

I am really agree with all complaints, now a day Dining Plus card people are marketing there product through ABN Amro Bank which is another useless bank, Whatever they are telling at the time of sell actually not a single thing is available, On the top of that this card is having very less outlets and there also this card is not acceptable, I had checked this at Vadodara and Pune,
So Friends I am a big full as invested a good amount in this card but I will be very happy if I could save yours hard earned money

Yes. I agree that dining plus is of no use when it comes to money saving. Most of the establishments listed in the directory do not honor this card. Even their web site http://www.diningplus.org is not user friendly and does not provide information about their updated list. A waste of investment that I regret

I got this card thru one of the telecallers from Dining Plus. As iam a frequent diner and traveller, i have enjoyed the benifits using this card.

I personally have saved huge money and also have recomended the same to all my friends..

Its has great value for money..

I got tis from 1 of a executive from dining plus.It saved lot of money in my sisters marriage and also thro health check up in apollo itself.

Hai I love this product.. I hangout weekends with my friends and have enjoyed each & every benefit of this card. There is great demand for this card.. try it.. I paid only 2500/- and recd a validity for 2 years..

Whatever they are telling at the time of sell actually not a single thing is available, On the top of that this card is having very less outlets and there also this card is not acceptable, I had checked this at Chennai with so many outlets, but every where it is rejected.

In my point of view this card is very usefull to all kind of persons...
i recomended the peoples to take the card who are all in these four catogories below
1. The persons who will use the hospitals atleast once in the year (because o[censored]se of appolo)
2. The persons who will bul atleast one saree in a year atleast in a cost of Rs.4000
3. The persons who regularly using the restaurants in the given listed
4. The persons using the E coupons properly.

All the other comments were falseREPORTof dining plus...

The persons who are not using the properly only been think on there as cheated...
If YOU are in the kind of above 4points ...DINING PLUS CARD IS 100% USEFULL

yesterday i visited bhojan dot com restuarent near to anna nagar ... they told me tht machine is busy .. so we cant give u discount . i am really disappointed . all my friends teased me like any thing . after tht they discounted 4 % of vat . but in directory it mentioned 10 %

Hi this is vinoth([protected]). I am also a dining plus card holder, i dont accepted these idiotic complaints, i also faced some problems because of this card. This card is not accepted in some of the places which mentioned in the directory, i call to the dining plus customer care and asked about it, they told that the validity of those places are come to end, otherwise i enjoying the discounts from all the places, also i saved good amount of money in there. I accept some of the complaints because no service department will not able to give 100% satisfaction to the customer. My comment is dining plus card is useful one to save money in every catagories. My humble request to dining plus company is please update the new things in web site immdiately, i not able to buy a new directory frequently, also i not able to see the new things added in the list. thank you bye.
