[Resolved]  Dish TV — Poor Service

This is to bring to the notice of the Consumers forum of the rampant malpractices and duping of customers that Dish TV India has been indulging over the past year. I have complained about the poor services multiple times and there is either no response or scripted responses like that the problem with the DTH service will be resolved within 24 hours which till day has not come. My VC# [protected] for Dish TV should have numerous complaints registered but somehow or the other I never seem to get a resolution.
I am appending the latest complaint number[protected] which I have raised to resolve the poor service or lack thereof from Dish TV. My dealer Anjalelu([protected]) has also not been responsive and has been giving me assurances that the issue will be resolved. Now I am in a position where I have paid for the services and am not receiving and reception as far as Dish TV is concerned. I would urge/request someone to look into this appeal and at least arrange a refund of my money from Dish TV.

Dear Sir,

I am in a really unbearable situation with Dish TV service center guys in greater noida. I have re-installed the machine in march'2010 and since then during last 5month i have had to ask the dish tv service centre guys from greater noida to visist my place 4times and paid them for alignment. I dont understand why this guys dont fix it properly once atlest for it run half a year as its works for other DTHs.

I would request you to please look into this matter asap. As i ahev also my subscription which is going in drain during last 15days. As there is not any responce from Dish TV service center guys from greater noida.

i got my DISH TV re installed on 11.07.10 and recharged on 19.07.10, with one month recharge package.

My package got expired on 6th August itself, instead of 19.08.10. Despite complaints, telecoms, no one is bothered to give reply or resolve the matter.

My system is idle since then

We didn't get any channels....when we contact to dish TV service center near by home they are not giving good response...every month we r getting same problem they are charging 100 rupees...please take an action.....my dish tv stb number is 09d4abfs0ds14306......Here is my contact number [protected]
We are a regular subscriber of Dish TV with set top box number [protected]. On 23rd February 2011 evening, on reaching home, it was observed that there were no signals. Matter was reported to Dish TV complaints at [protected] with arequest that we shall not be available at home during day time & person should early. We were promised that service person will reach by 10.00 AM. My wife remained at home full day (postponing all her programs), but no body turned up. My wife tried to contact them whole day, but no response, whereas she spent Rs 98/- in this process.

The matter was again taken up with customer care on 24th evening & I had atalk to floor supervisor, Mr Arvinder, who promised that the problem would be solved in the morning & service person will visit before 11.00 AM, but again no body came.

I called customer care at about 2.00 PM 7 was again informed that it will be dealt shortly.

Then she got one sms stating that Mr Rahul Singh will be attending complaint on 26th February at 3.00 PM followed by another message within 10 minutes, that complaint has been attended & for further problems we should call their call centre at phone no. [protected].

I again tried to contact customer care at 4.49 PM & wanted to contact Mr Arvinder, who had promised action today at 11.00 AM, ( since he was to come on duty at 3.30 PM upto 12.30 midnight), but I was not allowed to talk to hime. The person on duty never brought him on line & said that there was no person with the name Arwinder Singh.

Now I do not know, whom to contact in this regard.

So I will suggest all those, who are thinking of going for DISH TV, to think once again.

I have shifted from Hyderabad to Nellore. I took this connection in 2007 and suffered like anything for the service.Every 3 months the STB goes out of order and no one is deputed by the company> ultimately I have to get it repaired outside.Now I have requested them to reinstall at nellore 5 days back and till date no one has turned up. The best joke is that every day i get an sms stating that my complaint has been resolved.I think this not a DTH , its a comedian company. There are a lot of jokers in this company from higher level to technician level.My complaint No.56904456.
I am not able to understand what TRIA is doing inspite of somany complaints from customers. TRAI should immediately take action and order for the closure of this company.We cannot have for each problem

error: The no is not correct and we will not be able to view most of the channels, the channels are not activated, It is showing that we need to recharge, but all the payment has done and till now it is not working..

We have already made a complaint and we have received some no if we follow up with that no there is no response for it.

I have bought the subscription of Dish TV 4 days ago and it started showing "recharge your account " on the screen and then nothing is happening .I have called there service team many times but no one seems to bother .I have already recharge my account for one month and if it doesn't work for 3- 5 days for every month then i think i have been cheated .This is seriously not expected from the big firm like this.If we recharge our account on time then why should we deprive of our daily quota of entertainment.This is a weekend and my parents are at home and they cannot watch their favorite programs and movies because of these problems.

I hope some action would be taken and Dish TV will keep up to their reputation. I seriously dont want to switch to other TV cables/Satellite Vendors but certainly i am not happy with the dish tv as a consumer.

My Dish cable DTH connection standing in the name of Rangarajan is attached to Stride Axis , DISH TV CARE CENTRE functioning at New No 124, Old no 44, Kamarajar salai ,R.A.Puram, Chennai--600028, phone number being[protected], cell-[protected] did not perform well . The service centre was duly informed on 2-2-12 and the repsentative came, checked and suggested replacement of the set top box and it was replaced.Soon after the replacement , there was no picture received. Till date I have been making calls and addressing the Customer Care centre Noida and the local representative for rectification and service. They have not cared to attend to my complaints and phone calls and Emails have not evoked any response. I have told them that I will be moving the consumer court.But there is no result. I have paid the recharge amount also. No response from that end.

I have purchased 2 DTH from DISH TV and vc no [protected] and [protected] on 03-Feb-2012 and till date 08-Feb-2012 our both connections have several problems and not working properly. In this regard complaint logged on Customer Care Complaint No 79886132, 80056146 and 80060985. Your representative visits in this regard and take box (Setup Box) with him and tell me that your complaint will be solved till evening (07/02/2012) but no solution from your side till 09/02/2012. After calling Customer Care a madam said that your complaint is closed at 03:00 pm (07/02/2012) and you call yourself to whom who take away your box. Again I call your local service center and they said your box is arranged from another dealer but again on 08/02/2012 they said you still have to wait 1 more day.
What is this ??

Why you are say DishTV No 1 DTH ????????
Can Company extend our renewal date which is 03/03/2012 for both connections as till 6-7 days our DTH (both) cannot working properly and what about mental harassment given by your service center and your company.
I again request you to look into the matter and solve my problem.
