I called to Dish tv & submit the request for shifting the connection on 30 Jan 2012 & got a response that i am going to get a call from the technician within 24 hours & it will get fixed I got a call same day however I told him to come in the evening as the dish Tv executive informed me that she is mentioning the time for 7:30 in the evening I request to the technician to come at 7:30 but he denied it & asked me call next day so that he can confirm the timing I called to the person next day then he informed me that he is sending someone at 7 in the evening I took the half day leave from my office & reached home early but nobody turned up I called so many time to the technician but he didnt pick up the call & switched off it I called to the customer care & everytime got the same response that they are looking to the matter now it's almost 72 hours the connection is not fixed yet either i am not getting any response from dish tv. it's a worst DTH service in India.

    i have recharged my dist tv RS 250 bearing v.c number [protected] but recharge was failed however RS 250 has been deducted .i communicated the Dishtv representative service and they informed me that they dont have records for this transaction and i gave them complete details about the transaction but still they acting like scapegoat and not refunding my money it has been 6 days so far we are fighting on this transaction so i hope i would get a solution

      I took a new DISH Tv connection from Balaji Electronics, Dharuhera. At the time of purchase it was committed that for Rs 1390 I will get the Dishtv connection+Hardware(Set Top Box)+Installation+1 month free subscription of platinum plus package. Where as I got Family pack instead of Platinum Plus pack.When I contacted the dealer with complaint he kept postponing working on my problem after repeated visits he finally told me that this is not his fault because he forwarded the request for activating Platinum Plus Pack while giving the activation instruction to Dish TV office and there is nothing he can do, he asked me to contact customer care for this.
      I contacted the customer care and explained the issue to them however its been over 3 weeks I am in conversation with the customer care people and others over email. even spoken to their Nodal officers and regional sales head but no one bothered to assist instead asked me to furnish proof. Finally I sent them a copy of my SAF along with the dealers details but now they have even stopped responding to my mails. As a proof I am attaching the copy of my email conversation.((Sorry Email copv. could not be attached as it only except JPEG file)
      So finally I have made my mind to take the issue to the District Consumer Complaints Redressal If I do not get any positive responce.

      I called dish tv on sunday many times for renewal of my
      package.They offered me Titanum package which includes all the channel for
      Rs3500 -for one years.I made the payment on line by my credit card.after making
      payment I called again in evening time becz (utv channel & hd channel ) is not
      showing.now they informed me abt wrong payment, as it costs (5050 rs )for
      Titanium package.I agree to pay rest of the amount executive mr dhiraj told me
      is not possible.I d,nt know what to do.Becz I feel cheated.I made the payment
      according to the c/care executive direction.You can check recording as I don't
      know the name of executive.please resolve this thing.my account details are
      below-now they providing this packages for less then six month.dish tv cheated with me.know they have my money they doing want the want. I want my money back I mail dish tv no reply form there.

      Resp Sir, I name VIJAY B AMIN, the customer of dish tv dth service since 2009 and VC no [protected].I renewed and recharged my connection in march 2012 and last time i recharged on 12/6/2012 by paing Rs 235/ for SUPER GOLD PACK as DISH TV advertisement in its networks but some few channels are not broad casting as dishtv announced in advertisement.Sir, DD 11GIRNAR, ASTHA, ZSMILE, ENTER 10, ENTER MOOVIE, 9X, 9XM, SANSAKAR, B4U, LIFE OK, Z JAGARAN, KATYAYANI, are not broadcasting yet i have contacted dish tv on mobile toll no [protected] often and often but no any respond from dishtv inspite of contacting by SMS on 57575. It announced that in its aderyisement that CALL ME on ITS NO We will shortly contact you and respond but it is false and null and voide so the service is the most worst service among all the DTH SERVICE. I paid for one month subscription of Rs 235 but it broadcasts the service for only 25 days and in addition to this few channels are not displayed on tv. so in spite of full payment for a month, 5 days are deducted from 30 day and few channels are also deducted so i bear a great loss from both side as in days and in no of channels.So you request to kindly needful action against DISHTV DTH as earlly as possible before my subscription ends.           Hi, Recently I was not getting POGO Channel alone. I talked to DISH TV Representatives thru their call centre number and they gave me all sorts of solution. Later on also I told them that I was not getting the same. But finally they told you will need to change the SETOP box. I was having silver connection with ADD on packs for toon Mania where POGO was part of.

          VC Number is [protected]

          But when I went to their service centre at Tambaram chennai, they also verified my SETTOP box and they verified all the transponder signals, Strengths and scanned/re scanned the channels and finally told I had to buy the SET TOP Box again. I bought one by Paying Rs 550. Later on when I tuned for the channels, I was still not getting POGO. When I again called the DISH TV Customer care at Chennai, they told that POGO has been removed from TOON Mania and has to be subscribed as a seperate channel by paying Rs 11. So MY SETTOP box was replaced for no reasons and for these technical goo[censored]p by their Team. I could have ended up just paying Rs 11 per month instead of all these hardships. I dont know how these people are going to address the issue. I have raised this with DISH TV Feedback and customer service. Let me see what response they give.

            We have Rechrged for 150 Rs on 23/06/09 we have taken south indian silverpack but my grace period is showing till 14/06/09 only till 21days we have taken monthly subrcription what is the meen of 21 days?last month also we got same plroblem...

            I would like to register the complaint against the DISHTV and its service provider MELTEK Systems in Pune. I am the DISHTV customer since last 4 years in Pune. Last year I upgraded to DISH TV HD service. I paid the entire amount for an year in advance. Now dish TV is upgrading the LNB of each HD connection. I was informed by the MELTEK system that my LNB will be changed. this was a month ago. They told that the DISHTV has made is compulsary to upgrade all HD connection before the Cricket world cup. There engineer cam to my place and said that since you have multiconnection LNB we need to get a complete new set of DISH antena and HD LNB. They told that this will be provided to you without any extra charge. We will come back in a day or two and will upgrade your system before 5th Feb-2011. I waited till 5th feb but nothing happened and no body turned up. When I contacted them over the phone they told me that I need to speak to their manager Mr. Vikas Sridharan. He promised me that the setup will be installed within 2-3 days. I waited till 13th Feb. Nothing happened. I called them back and then 1 of the customer care executive informed me that multiconnection LNB permission from the DISHTV will come only on 16th Feb and then we will install it at your place. I waited till 16th Feb nothing happen. I called them back.they told me that everything is fine we are just waiting for Mr. Vikas's approval and he is out of office. I waited for 2 more days. Then I contacted Mr Vikas . He told me that He will get it installed before the India's first match against Bangaladesh(19-Feb). He connected me to his service department where his engineer left the call in between and never came back. Mr Vikas shouted on his employees but no body turned up. He promised me that he will get it done next morning. Next morning I waited till 12 noon. Nothing happened. I called them back.. A new executive picked the call and I had to explain him the entire story again.. He said it will be done next day(Sunday). I told him that how will your service engineer work on Sunday.. He insisted that it will be done on Sunday.. I lost my control.. then immediately he asked my details and said that the engineers are already instructed to install the setup today for your place. I waisted for them.. In between I received the call from their executive which provided the name of the service engineers who were on the way to my place according to her. She told me that she will call me back and inform me about the whereabouts of the engineers and will let me know the exact time when they will come to my place. I waited whole day niether the call came and nor the engineers. No body came on Sunday as well. Today is monday and I have lost the patience and have no courage to talk to them to hear their false promises. Request you to let me know what could be done in this case.
            i have set up box of dishtv it was not worked last 4 day i have complaint serval to call center but problem is not solved yet .
            very poor service by dishtv
            Till now I have not received any resolution for wrong billing / charge.

            Only received call for paying the amount with grace charges of Rs. 25.00 per VC.

            Kindly resolve the issue.

              Dear Sir,

              I have Purchased Dish TV DTH VC # [protected] in the year 2008 and I'm facing Alignment problem every twice a year( major problem in monsoon).
              After re- installation the position of DTH again I'm facing the same problem. Every time the technician comes at my place and do the repairing work and charges the amount of 150 + taxes, its not the amount of money we pay but its about the service they provide every time with the problem we face every year.
              Again on 1st Jan 2012 around 8:30PM we see SIGNAL NOT FOUND. On 6the Jan i have SMS DISHTV CALL ME and they have called me at 10:49 AM i have made the complaint and they says you have to pay the amount for the service they provide at home which I'm against paying the amount due to the problem which occurs always after they repair it. Kindly help me to solve my problem.

              My dishtv is receiving any signal from 26 apr 09 we requested to resolve this problem at 28 apr 09.Many time I’ve inform to customer care dishtv representative through phone and mail but nobady has responding regarding this.

              If today 01 May 09 you will not resolve please donot send any tech tomorrow will Ask to consumer court ([protected] ) against Dishtv Radhika Aneja and Gourav Bhasker because your service is fraudulent.

              I am not at all satisfied with the Customer care service and the Distributor of dishTV.

              I Discontinued my 3 year old Tatasky DTH + Returned the new Airtel connection and got the DishTV connection thinking that I will get a better Service but I am very sorry to say that it has been been the worst DTH experience.

              It's 6 days now, my account has not been activated. I called the customer care and everyday I got the same answer - "We have received your mail & forwarded it to the concern department for action" but nothing has happened till now. Twice, I was assured that my connection will be activated in next 24 hours. I waited 96 hours and nothing happened.

              I have emailed 3-4 times to the south Zonal Managers - [protected]@DISHTV.COM & [protected]@DISHTV.COM. No reply from these guys. I don't know why they are not activating my connection.

                Iam a Dish TV costumer for the last one year.
                My complaint is that they are decreasing the channel day by day for the particular package. Iam using "south silver cricket pack". Within 11 months they were cancelled about 3 malayalam channel( Jai hind,jeaven and now kairali too..) also they increased their monthly rent by an amount of Rs.30/-

                now they are providing only 10 malayalam channels while other networks providing more than 13 malayalam channels..

                  We had DISH TV connection not working last month.

                  When we emailed DISH TV customer care they said they can not call me because my mobile number is registered in Do Not Call registry. I did not have any other mobile number, hence they asked me to de-register from DNC register. I did not do it becasuse I had very bad experience receiving unwanted calls and SMS every now and then by DISH TV. When I disagreed to de-register , they said they can not help me and I could not watch TV for next 10 days. When I arranged one of my friend's mobile and had them called on that they agreed to fix the antena but I was charged.

                  I should not have been charged because it was DISH TV's fault. Also they did not refund the days when I could not see any channels even after re-charging with enough balance. Every now and then they forced me to de-register saying that they will not be able to fix my problem. Service calls and promotional calls should be different. Just because I want to receive service calls , does not mean I also have bear with disturbing calls at the middle of the night.Every other company calls me on my mobile when there is any service related matter but never called me for advertisement. Why DISH TV is exception. I think DISH TV is forcibly trying get all customers out of DNC register so that they can make promotional calls.

                  DISH TV should be prosecuted for this.

                  Also when I say that DISH TV feedback link is not work , they do not respond.I have tried sending screenshot also. They also blame me that my address is wrong even tough I had everything correct while installing. They do not even say what is wrong saying my connection is suspicious.

                  Dish TV India — Denial of access

                  My VC No.-[protected]. Dish TV 1 year DISH MAXI was installed at my residence on 28.06.2008 with full payment of subscription for 1 year. So the subscription will expire on 28.6.2009. However, now access is denied to me asking me to renew subscription stating that subscription expired on 09.01.2009 [ only six months are over]. Dish TV India seem to be cheaters. When their Helpline No.[protected] is dialled from BSNL, 'this telephone number does not exists' is the reply we get. Dish TV India Surat agent, M/s Krishna Agencies, are also non-responsive and careless once we pay them the money.

                  Dish TV — Fraud - Denial of money received

                  We had called Dish TV toll free number on 28.4.2010 and asked them to come collect payment towards one year subscription. They sent SMS informing me that their rep would visit. The person then visited and Cash of Rs 3250/- was handed over. Original receipt of Kaizen communications was given to us, Now Dish tv is denying that they sent a rep to our house. The sms is still with me. The Kaizen communications office says they discontinued with Dish TV on 14.4.2010. They are still being shown as dealers! Dish has disconnect my connection twice, I seem to have got standard emails from all the dumb people sitting at Dish tv consumer call center. Again today they cut the connection.

                  i am at a loss as there is no office i can visit and nothing i can do to take acction.
                  PLEASE HELP SOMEON!

                    our dish tv was charged for 63 days for Rs 700 according to the scheme but unfortunately we are unable to make full utilisation as the company has stopped the channels please on the dish till last date 10/7/2009 as per the sceme

                    our dishtv was charged on 11/5/2009 by platinum card(Rs 700) for 63 days but the conpany has stopped the channels before the days were completed please continue the channels till the last date 10/7/2009 according to the scheme
                    My VC No.[protected]. I made a payment of Rs.250/- for recharge on 22.9.2009 (the due date) through a dealer in Vasundhara, Ghzb. After sometime I received an SMS saying your payment of Rs.125/- has been received. After few minutes I received another SMS saying "YOU ARE ENJOYING GOLD PACK LOADED WITH ADDITIONAL CHANNELS AT A PRICE OF RS.190 TAX PER MONTH. YOUR NEXT RECHARGE DATE IS 28.10.2009"

                    In the evening I checked My Account (Dish TV Account) showing a payment of Rs.125/- only. When I contacted the dealer and intimated him the position, he said don't worry, I have made the full payment of Rs.250/-. Your account (Dish TV) will be corrected soon.

                    Now, today is 26.09.2009 but my account is showing "Recharge 000, Payment date 000, Next date of Recharge 000. I do not understand what to do. May I request the Company to take immediate steps and activate my account at the earliest.

                    AFTER HOW MUCH TIME DISH TV RECHARGE AFTER DEPOSITING THE MONEY
                    Online Recharge of the Dishtv is the worst Online option i have ever seen in my life, I do lot's of transaction online, But I feel that even government sites are better then this, I did a transaction which got failed but still my card got recharged. Next Month I made a recharge and this time i came to know that i paid for almost 2 months including the outstanding of last month. Today i feel bad that i made such a waste purchase , Cable guy use to come at my house and collect the money, But this site today don't allow me to make transaction, Now i think i need to travel almost 15 KM to get this stupid stuff recharged, Instead of paying 339 per month I will prefer to call that cable guy again.
                    Might be the case with you, I am also a Dishtv subscriber since long and always prefer to recharge my connection online and never faced any such problem in recharge.

                    My dish tv VC got deativated on account of not recharging..Yesterday i tried to recharge my dish tv VC no [protected] using SBI debit card in online. I completed the process as decribed and the amount got deducted from my SBI account. But my dish tv account is not acivated yet.When i checked dish tv online a/c i saw the message " failed" against the transaction status column.Amount also deducted.
                    Can some body hep me in finding out what is wrong?

                    I recharged on 26/11/2010 with 3550 from RechargeItNow.com website, the one mentioned on www.dishtv.in.

                    I was not able to recharge from dishtv website. And not bieng able to recharge from last 3-4 months.

                    I recharged with 3550 to get the benefit of titanium recharge offer. But I am not getting the same. When I inquired through customer care, they told me that only if I recharge it online after login in my account then I can get the benefit of 'Titanium Recharge offer'. Otherwise I wont get that benefit. And they told me that they can't do anything about that.

                    This is not mentioned anywhere on dishtv website that I have to recharge only through login in dishtv.com and then recharge from there. This is a clear case of misselling of service.

                    What can be done about the misselling of service?

                    And my vc no. is [protected] .if i do the recharge of dish tv then it will found line busy but after recharge date is over then dish tv is taking 20 Rs. connection charges and after that if i try to recharge then fraction of second it will recharge.
                    if I complain to the recharge agency the answer is that dish tv people are doing drama for taking 20 Rs. disconnection charges.
                    I complain this thing to 4 to 5 times to dish tv customer care but they people are not giving response.
                    also while changing the plan only dish tv is their who is taking 40 Rs. charge which is not happening in another tv.
                    so i think that the service of dish tv is very bad and think once again before purchasing of new Dish tv connection.
                    I have recharged my dish TV with VC no [protected] by Rs 352 on 5/11/2011 and received confirmation of the payment on mobile SMS. Still I am waiting for the display of the program mes on the TV set. Kindly inform me how much time will it take to get activated.

                    I try to communicate through phone to dishtv customer care . They are not Providing me solution in this regards. They always ask me a confirmation email sent by them after payment through Net Banking. But i had not received confirmation for dishtv recharge after recharge through Net Banking. .
                    This is not the first time they are making fraud. Last 6 month back same problem, but no solution and loss of Rs 300/- was there.
                    This time i want you to take strong action against them as other people are also facing same problem .

                      I paid am amount of 250rs to a dealer named Rainbow enterprise, located in asansol, west bengal. thi dealer took the amount 250rs and gave me a recipt, and recharged my account but soon in 10 days my validity got over so i inquired in dish costumer care they told that the total amount paid by the dealer is 125rs only, i registered a complain against him through costumer care but nobody responded. therefore i request you to look at this matter.The details of dealer are as below:

                        I have recharged my dish tv account with 325 rs ,I have a chil parent connection ,parent is working and is showing validity for only 20 days and my child connection is not working and showing message recharge now ,I called customer care many a times ,but they say they will call back and rectify the issue .but i am not receiving any call neither they are rectifying the issue

                              I have bought HD and SD connection from Dish TV . I had following problems

                              1) The activation tool 78 hours due to mistake of dealer. Activation took place when I had made a complaint against the dealer. Otherwise dealer did not take any proactive action.

                              2) I bought 2 box so that I can have multiple connection but the other connection was not activated because dealer again forgot to mention that on Subscriber form. How the hell I know ? Why don't Customer service understand why would someone pay extra when both the boxes are installed on same address.

                              When you cannot take care of your customer, why the hell you say you are No. 1 in India. You are worst in customer service. Please never opt for dish TV all you will have is harassment.

                              Dish TV — Pathetic service of dish tv

                              We started the process of taking Dish Tv on 4th of February 2008. This mean we made the payment at the Trans Mobile Store in Koramangala. We did not receive the instrument till 12th of February and that too when we went to the store and shouted at them. Till 12th, we were calling trans mobile store and the numbers given to us. Initially they picked up the phone, but after 3-4 calls they stopped picking up the calls.
                              Finally we got the instrument, but for the installation we had to wait another 6 days for the installation and a furstating procedure of calling the guys. After the installation the problem came of the activation. Fortunately it took just 3 days for the activation. I don't know whether they send some person to the satellite to do this. So, on 21st activation was done.
                              But, another simple problem was there. The installation was not correct and I don't know whether the problem is with the set top box or cable or antenna or the alighnment. From that day I am calling dish tv service centers, dish tv call centers. First, no one picks up the call. If you are able to talk to dish tv people, then you are one of the luckiest people. Everyday, a new guy / girl picks up the call and consoles and promises that within 24 hrs everything will be fine. But, we have got not luck.
                              Hey god, I have made the biggest mistake of my life of thinking Dish TV as a good product. I must have taken the Tata Sky and I will be more than "Santusht". I urge the fellow citizens of India not to buy the Dish TV otherwise you will also regret making this decision.
                              And please stop that , gay, shahrukh khan in promoting this product.

                              I have complained on 13th June’08 for poor services on one of the channel “ESPN” plus couple of other channels, although I was receiving 184 channels. My complaint was attended on 15th June when the service engineer “ Deepak Sharma (his mob. No. [protected]) ” came to restore those few channels but after realigning the Dish and changing software settings he told me that my set top box is faulty, I asked him to restore the same services whatever I had previously (around 184 channels) had and forget about ESPN but to my dismay he said now it will not work at all as he has tempered with “Factory Restore Settings” which he is unable to save it now. I asked him to restore because it is not my fault so he agreed to take my set top box along with VC card for repair.
                              Same day in the evening I got a call from one of the Dish TV Dealer “Krishna Services” (where that engineer was working) and was told that “pickup your scrap box and take it away”.

                              What kind of services DishTV is giving, I had paid my subscription for full one year in advance to get error free services but in spite of paying one year advance I am facing such a huge harassment. If Dish TV can’t give after sale services, why do they make tall and fake claims, Is there any service guarantee clause in the license under which Dish TV is operating.

                              Let me know when will I get my card and set top box back with restored services, otherwise I would be compelled to knock the doors of consumer court.

                              Dish TV seems to be a horrible service providor. Even with slightest rainfall it gets disconnected I do not know how it is surviving. I will surely ensure that at least none of my families, colleagues and friends purchase Dish TV even it is distributed for free and request them to spread my message to all others and ensure that atleast others are not fooled.
                              In deed it sucks dish tv has only Advertising department and near to no customer service.
                              And it seems it getting worse with growing number o[censored]sers with Adv.

                              Dish TV — Pathetic Service of Dish TV

                              Hi, I got a Dish TV connection installed at my place on nov,2010 and my VC no. is [protected]. on 5th Feb. 2011 suddenly due to bad weather, signal got dropped and signal error message started showing up on my TV. After waiting for long I did a complaint on their customer care no.[protected] on 14th Morning around 10 am and the complaint no. is 54154890. I talked to a customer care executive and she assured me that the engineer will visit my place within 24 hours. But as expected, engineer did not visit my place & the problem is still there. Then I called customer care in 18th morning and got the same response from customer care executive and given a new complain no[protected] and all day also no body visited my place. I again called customer care on evening but did not get any responsebut still i have recieved a new complain no[protected]. since I’ve launched a complaint but no body visited my place and the problem is still there. I’ve tried customer care no. 4 times since morning.

                              From all the above events you can easily make out the kind of harassment Dish TV customers are facing. This shows the delinquency, irresponsibility and non-courteousness of DishTV towards its customers. Even the senior management do not care about the customers, so what can we expect from the customer care executives.
                              You cannot play with customer’s time & money so I want you to take some serious action against all those who are involved in the whole incident and let me know the further action taken on this complaint. If you are not taking any action on this complaint then also plz let me know so that I take this forward in other way to the larger forum.

                                      hi,
                                      this is to inform you that i am a user of dish tv.I have prepaid facility to recharge.if i will get late to recharge by 2-3 days from the last date, I have to pay some extra amount( panulty) like 20-30 rupessfor that then why do i pay the extra money inspite of prepaid.That is tolty up to me,when should I recharge.Please do needfull for the same.

                                        I have purchased Dish tv connection on 22/08/2005 from Ram Electronics Shop.No.6, Vanhi towers No.68,S.P.Road, Bangalore-560002. As per Reciept issued on the above said purchase the sum of Rs 2490/ refundable security deposit after complition of five years subject to return ov Antenna nd System in proper working condition. My Antenna and systems are in working condition, I am ready to return the above equipments but if I enquire with the above said authorised dealer, he direct to authorised service centre,the Shiva shakti Associates. They also rejected my request and given call centre No. If I called call centre No. they once against direct to enquire with authorised dealer. Now I want know where I have to claim my refund and I want replace latest setoff box with new facility. As per Valid reciept I should get my refund before replacing new features. Kindly Inform me immidiatly . Outherwise I have to take legal steps to recover my valid security deposit.
