DISH T.V. IS THIRD CLASS, POOREST SERVICE, THEY CHEAT THE CUSTOMERS

I regret to say that, I am facing the Setup Box problem from the last 3 months.

My Setup box was not working properly in the month of March 2008 due to the sound problem. I complaint 2-3 times at your customer care by phone but in a week there was no any response after many calls I got Your Technical Engineer Details from your customer care center i.e. Mr. Kailash Aggarwal and Mob. No. [protected] and landline no.[protected].

I called and requested him to sort out the problem of my Setup Box.
After listening my problem he assured to me to solve this problem. After 4-5 days one man came and he collect my setup box and give me another setup box he told me that this box is o.k and after solving the problem he will return my setup box, in the meantime I can use this another setup box.

But, I was surprised to see that the Setup Box which was given by that Man was not in working condition and that box did not work for more than 10 days. In between, I call many times to explain that this Setup box is no working and we are unable to see any channel but Mr. Kailash Aggarwal told me that I will get my setup box very soon but after 2 week time i.e. on 09/05/2008 I get my Setup box and they charged me Rs. 507/- for solving this problem and told that now the setup box is ok.

I shocked to see that, after 4-5 days the problem continues, I was surprised to see the same problem again, I contact to Mr. Aggarwal’s office and their office replied me that I have to wait for some days and if the problem is continue than they will look after. So, after 10 – 15 days they send somebody to pickup the setup box.

So, I have not received my Setup Box till now. I want to ask one question if our subscription delay only one day, you discontinue the services you have done many times with me this kind of things.

And if your customer faces problem from last 3 months you have no time to listen him. You expand lot of money on advertisement but you don’t care about the services. After this long harassment, I decided to go to Consumer Court and I will forward my complaint to leading news papers and T.V. channels.

Me too having same problem with DISH TV.. in my case.. i've called them many times since 19th May 2008. But everytime they give me a new complain number and put the last given complain number as solved. I've also written to nodal officer of dishtv but no response yet. So i was looking for some information online to go to Consumer court.

have u also filed the case?? if yes let me know what did u have to do for that...!!
I am having a very bad experience with dish tv for last one year. But this month it was a horrible exeperience that is making me think to switch to tata sky as a better option.
As i would like to narrate the story . Myself had recherged for the renewal of package on 19/05/08 and it was suposed to, valid up to 18/06/08 .Meanwhile i wathed two movies with movie on demand and as usual thought that i will pay with the next recharge .But my package was downgraded on 06/06/08 within 15 days of recharge when i called the call center it was told to me because i wathed two movies it was done(erlier it was not done like that ).
After all this incident i thought not get indulge in any fight i recharged my account for rs 300 on 7/6/08 by calling on customer care and telling them crash card account no and password .(i was not able to collect the transection id)
I waited for 24 hrs but my package was not upgraded .Again I called the customer care (3 times ) but they keep telling me that Your account is not charged.Finally won the employee told me that my recharge has been transfeered to same other vc by the the executive .
Than again i called the customer care and told whole incident to them but they told me that they need the vc no which has been recharged (the employee who has done mistake didnt tell me the transection id and the another vc no to which the recharge has passad) AND TOLD ME THAT THAY CANT HELP ME .
This is the worst exeperience i had have and suggest all the people to keep away from the dish tv.
