Dear Sir, I had booked one packet containing RAKHI from Dehra Dun office of this company on 04/08/09 under thier DTDCPLUS SCHEME.THE SAID PACKET CONTAINED RAKHI TO BE DILIVERED TO Mr.Amitabh Ojha at His Greater Noida home address.The counter clerk had adviced me to book this packet under this DTDC PLUS scheme to ensure delivery on 05/08/09 i.e. the date of RAKHI FESTIVAL.INSPITE MY FOLLOWUP THEY COULD NOT GET THE DELIVERY DONE TILL THE TIME OF LODGING THIS COMPLAINT.THIS IS THE CASE OF COMITTING FRAUD WITH ME BY THE COMPANY AND I DESIRE TO BE COPENSATED AS UNDER BESIDE AN APOLOGY FROM THE COMPANY FOR HURTING MY SENTIMENTS. Dear All

Regret to inform myself Debasish Sengupta had booked one packet containing RAKHI and some dress materials from your Vaishali, Ghaziabad office to “KISHANGANJ – BIHAR” under DTDC PLUS scheme vide AWB no V01882289 dtd 01/08/09

While booking I was advised by Mr. Rahul Bansal, your Booking executive to book the consignment under DTDC PLUS SCHEME for immediate delivery within 48 hours max infact I told him clearly the packet should reach the destination on or before 05.08.09 which was verbally confirmed by your representative at the time of booking.

I was under the impression that the packet has been delivered while checking with my sister on Rakhi day i.e. 5th Aug, I was informed she had not recd any packet / consignment from DTDC so far. I was really shocked then I immediately called up your booking executive to know the current status and I have been informed that

Sorry sir we don’t have service for “KISHANGANJ- BIHAR” hence the packet will be returned to you along with courier fees.

Unquote

I was furious because refunding courier fees doest not solve my problem if DTDC doesn’t have service for Kishanganj then he should have informed or should not booked the consignment in other way I feel DTDC had cheated me and play with my emotions .

This is the case of committing fraud with me by the company and I desired to be compensated. The company was hurting me and plays with my sentiments.

However I have received the packet on 13th Aug, 2009 but I need proper action to be taken and also my compensation which is approx 15, 000.
