[Resolved]  DTDC Courier Service — Lost the item

I have ordered an Item (Apple ipod) online through the
Manorama E-mart (http://emart.manoramaonline.com). On 11/01/2008 they sent
the item from Mumbai through DTDC courier service. Tracking the same on
DTDC site with the consignment number
M33753288 shows that it reached Cochin on 13th. Usually it will be shipped
to my place in one day. But even on 15th the status was showing item is in
Cochin itself. Then i called the Cochin DTDC office and they informed
after a bundle of calls that it seems missing. They told an excuse that
its missing and they dont have records of the shipment since there was no
power at that time. On 19th they confirmed the same (first they were not
ready to tell this when i called several times only they told me this) and
told that, "we can't do anything on this, if you want further processings
to be done contact the location where it is sent from". Since its an
online purchase i am not able to get details like where it has been sent,
who sent like that. I already informed the online store this thing but
they are not responding, since i already placed the full payment (I have
registred a complaint on this with No. 24970) . They (DTDC Cochin branch)
are not even responding to my queries on this. By a thorogh checking on
the records of shipment definetly they will be able to find the item, but
they are not even doing that. Now on my calls they are telling that some
senior persons are on leave and so I need to wait untill they came back.
These responses pointing me that item lost only due to their mistakes.
Please help me in the same.
Consequences : The item i orderd by sending them a DD of Rs.3445.

I bought a SPY PEN CAMERA from ebay on 11 july...paisapay id is :[protected]...item id:[protected]...i didn, t received this item till now...the item was sent by DTDC...when i communicated with the seller he told that the item was delivered on 22 july...so we communicated with DTDC kozhikode, chalappuram...with the no:z60261083...when i went there the item was delivered to another person...they told that the address tag on the item was incorrect...what can i do now?I communicated with ebay and they told me that the item was sent in the correct address, and when i communicated with the seller he too replied the same...I think you went wrong...what sort of irresponsible courier service you are...?you should communicate with the kozhikode branch and give me the correct explanation for my problem.
