[Resolved] DTDC — Poor Customer Service & Breach of Self Defined Timelines for PTP Service | |||
I had booked a PTP courier (E[protected] from Pune on 9th May'13 to be delivered to Delhi on 10th May'13 before 12:00 noon as per your commitment for all PTP shipments; however, the shipment was not delivered to the consignee on time since your delivery person reached the destination at 12:30 when no one was at the given address. I called your customer care at 11:30 (after being on long hold) asking on the status of the courier and was assured that the consignment will be delivered as promised (before 12:00). Since it was not delivered on time I called again at 12:25 (after being on long hold) and the agent on the call informed me that due to a technical problem the consignment is delayed and when I asked him why I was not informed of the same earlier, very rudely he said that we will return you the money & said that will transfer me to the priority segment and did without even listening to what I had to say. This has been the most pathetic service I have every been rendered by any company and I am highly dissatisfied because of the same, I had paid extra money only because I wanted the delivery of the consignment on or before time, since it does not make any sense to pay extra for a service which one cannot avail. Looking at the behavior of your so called customer care team & the level of commitment that DTDC gives to its customers I am forced to not use your services going forward and also ensure that my near and dear ones don’t do that either.
